Chapter 5
07:33, 2 March 2025Without any single thought of hesitation, Miko whom heard Suisei's plea rushed over to her room.
Miko knocked on the door aggressively, whilst shouting. "Sui-chan! It's me, open the door!"
Receiving no answer, Miko opened the door on her own and greeted by the sight of Suisei sitting on the floor, resting her head on her knees. Miko approached her, sat quietly next to her.
"What's wrong?" She asked, her voice calm though worried.
Suisei finally look up, her eyes met with Miko's and she rushed to hug her, crying on Miko's shoulder.
Miko didn't say anything, and instead embraced Suisei, letting her spilled out what's inside her. "Yoshi, Yoshi." Miko spoke as she placed her hand on Suisei's head.
What felt like eternity for Suisei finally over as she let go and wiped the tears on her eyes. She then began, of how her career are in the edge of a cliff.
"It's...him." Suisei's mouth opened, her voice hesitant. "It's Takehiru."
"Takehiru, your manager?" Miko replied. "What's wrong with him?"
Tears fall again from Suisei's eyes as she hesitated to tell the truth to Miko. 'What happened if Takehiru find out?' Her own thought speaks, stopping her from telling the truth.
But, Miko goes for her hand, holding it firmly as she looks into Suisei's eyes. "It's okay, you can tell me."
Suisei wiped yet another tears again from her eyes, she cleared her voice as she begin to speak. "He's blackmailing me."
Miko's eyes widen upon hearing what's come from Suisei's mouth, disbelief she asked Suisei if she was joking, which only to find out the scared look in her eyes.
"He had a picture of me, When I look so indecent, my face was red, my clothes..."
Miko whom heard this cannot held back her anger, she stood up, but Suisei grabbed her hand. "Mikochi, please..."
Seeing the sight of Suisei at her current state fuelled her emotions more, "Sui-chan, we need to do something! You cannot just sit here, let's go tell Yagoo!"
"NO! Please!" She shouted at Miko, "He will not only leak that picture, but my past too!"
"I'm su-" Right as Miko speak, Suisei cutted her off.
"Do you know how much I sacrificed for my dreams to come true? Do you know how I had to sacrificed my relationship with him?!" Suisei broke down, another tears fall from her eyes again. "Do you know, how much I love him?"
Seeing this, Miko jumped out to hug her, Apologizing to Suisei, while she cried on her embrace.
"Mikochi, you were the one whom knows how much I loved him back in high school..." Suisei speak, though her voice muffled. "What would he say if he saw me like this? What if he saw that picture of me with Takehiru?"
Miko's mind flashed to her days in high school, where she spent her days with Suisei and watch her and Y/N being the best couple in school back then.
"Let's figure this out together, okay?" Miko spoke as she caressed Suisei's head, trying to calm her down.
Suisei nodded weakly, leaning into Miko's embrace. The room was quiet except for Suisei's sobbing, the weight of her situation pressing down at the two of her.
"We'll find a way." Miko whispered, her voice soft but filled with determination. "I'm sure we will. I won't let him ruin what you've worked so hard for."
Suisei sniffled, wiping her tears again. "But how? If we go to Yagoo, he might..." She faltered, fear gripping her again.
"We'll think of something." Miko reassured her. "You don't have to face this alone. You have me, Sui-chan. And I'm sure other members will help you and stand by your side too."
"But, what about him?" Suisei whispered, her mid drifting back to Y/N. "I can't ever face him again if he finds out. Not after everything."
Miko sighed, placing her hand gently on Suisei's shoulder. "Sui-chan, Y/N cared for you so much back then. If he knew what you're going through I'm sure he will understand." She paused. "You sacrificed him for your dreams, I knew you don't want to let go of him, but maybe...It's not too late to fix things."
"Do you think he'd even want to see me again?" Suisei bit her lips, uncertainty filling her mind. "After the distance I put between us...After seven years?"
"I don't know." Miko admitted. "But, I do know you deserve a chance to be happy again and maybe talking to him could help. You need to do it, Sui-chan, if you don't want to lose him." She paused. "Sometime, the hardest choice is the one that bring the happy ending."
Suisei looked down, "I miss him, more than anything."
Miko smiled gently, "Then, it's your time to try to reconnect with him." She patted Suisei's head. "But first, let's deal with Takehiru first, okay?"
With that, Suisei can let out her breath, the burden she carried alone slowly descending, at least for now.
While, on his apartment Y/N can be seen sitting alone at the living room. The world around him scattered, he gazed into his phone staring at his own reflection. For what it's left on him are his own body.
Even of how dark his apartment room used to be, there's always a light that kept him sane, but it all broke, turned into the darkness that loomed and haunted him inside his own room.
He thought to himself, 'What the fuck do I do know?'
His mind a chaos, the voices inside of him could never stop. Though, he still think of her, it seems moving on from her are an impossible task for him.
'She already found someone, well, she deserve someone better than me.'
He spoke to himself as his mind flashed back to the picture he saw on Suisei's social media account.
But, as he stared at the black screen, it turned on revealing a new email that was sent through him.
New Opportunity
Motoaki Tanigo
"Hi, Y/N L/N.
I hope this messages find you well.
Our company are currently understaffed, and we need more help in order to manage our Idol. We're looking for someone that able to manage the Idol's schedule and help them with their career needs.
Please reply this email if you are interested."
He stared at the email, confuse as why and how a person named Motoaki Tanigo could find his personal email. But the offer he gave are stuck in his mind.
'A manager?' He thought to himself, 'Maybe I could give it a try if they pay me more. Though I don't have any experiences at it.'
'Can I rebuild my life again? Or this was just a trap?' His mind filled with the thoughts.
His mind filled with uncertainty, what if it was a human trafficking lure? He remembered the news on his phone, a warning from the government.
'At least, nobody could find me if it's a trap.'
While on the other side, Motoaki Tanigo or known as Yagoo, could be seen sitting at his office alone. His eyes cold and calculated as he smirked after receiving a reply from Y/N.
"That was easy."
He picked up the telephone on the side of his desk and contacted a certain number, arranging a meeting.
"It's been a long time, Tanigo-san." A voice called from the phone. "What bring you today?"
"I want you to take care of something, Kurokawa-san." Yagoo replied, his voice cold.
"Tell me." The man on the other side of the line replied, his voice excited.
"Why don't we discuss it at the usual place?" Yagoo speak, a grin appears on his lips.
"Sure."
Later that night, Yagoo entered a bar. The lively atmosphere of party and alcohol hit him immediately but he didn't bother to care as he made his way to the corner of the bar reaching for a white wooden door.
As he entered, the room revealed a much calmer and more spacious atmosphere with expensive cusions and drinks on the table. The room much quieter, the people inside aren't an average salaryman or a businessman.
The bartender inside the room greeted Yagoo, as if he's a regular. Yagoo nodded at him before heading to another room, he opened the black wooden door.
Inside there are many men with sharp suit, their face intimidating as they surrounded a poker table at the middle of the room.
Yagoo stepped the room, all the eyes looked at him but he wasn't intimidated. He approached the table closer and greeted by someone familiar.
"Long time no see, Tanigo-san." A man with a scar across his face speak, his own voice controlled the whole room. "Have a seat."
Yagoo sat in the poker table, facing Kurokawa while his men stand nearby never leaving their eyes on Yagoo.
"All of you, leave." Kurokawa speak, and with an instant the room are cleared leaving only heree of them, with a man next to Kurokawa. "You too, Ken."
The man next to him, Ken, hesitated to leave, leaving his boss alone with a stranger. Kurokawa knows it and reassured him. "It's okay, I've known this man for a long time."
With that, the room finally cleared leaving only Yagoo and Kurokawa.
"What bring you here?" Kurokawa asked, his eyes meeting Yagoo's.
"I need you to do a favour for me." Yagoo replied, sliding a picture in the table to Kurokawa.
"Seems like you run into another problem again, huh?" Kurokawa chuckled, "I've told you that Idol are complicated," He sighed. "But, I guess you're still you after all. So, what do you want me to do?"
"I want him gone."
