The afternoon found Athena lying on the floor with Morgan playing with the soft mat. "Look there's a cow." Athena pointed out on the mat. "Cows go 'mooo'. Can you go mooo?" Morgan looked up at her godmother and giggled before rolling over again. "I'll take that as a no." Athena huffed. "She's stubborn like her godmother." Carol teased with a smile as she lay down beside Athena. "That tracks." Athena grumbled as she got up off the floor.

From the kitchen Mia watched Athena and Carol talking and it made her feel something she hadn't felt before. Jealous. Natasha clocked it quickly. She could read people quickly and Mia was clearly jealous of her daughter spending time with Carol again. "I thought no one was allowed to flirt with her." Mia sad. "Carol and her used to date. So it's allowed, and Carol came to me first to talk about starting a relationship again with her." Natasha stated. "Oh so that's how that works. They have to go through you to get to date your daughter. Figures." Mia scoffed before walking off.

Back in the common room Morgan was playing on the mat still while Carol and Athena sat on the sofa. "So I was thinking maybe dinner and a movie tomorrow night. Unless you're babysitting of course." Carol suggested. "Sounds good to me, and no. I'm not babysitting tomorrow night." Athena replied. "Good! I'll drive!" Carol replied smiling. "I pick the movie though." Athena added with a smirk. Carol huffed. "Why?" "Because you can't pick a good movie and you know it. You never could even when were dated the first time." Athena pointed out.

While the adults were distracted Morgan decided that she was gonna crawl over to where she wasn't allowed to be. Before she could get to the stairs however Maverick and Sage quickly ran over to her and stopped her. Maverick ever so gently picked Morgan up by her bib overalls and carried her back to the mat beside Athena. "The dog— The dog just picked our daughter up!" Tony gasped. "Yes he did, and he brought her back to the mat. Smart boy Maverick." Pepper cooed as she pat his head.
