The more Athena ignored her the more Lucy wanted her attention on her. After dinner when Athena sat beside her mom on the sofa in the common room Lucy sat beside her. Not too close but close enough. And still Athena seemed to be ignoring her still. Lucy couldn't figure out why though. She was beautiful, she was really beautiful. And yet Athena wasn't even looking at her. As the night came to an end Athena was the first to head downstairs to her room leaving Lucy siting near Natasha on the sofa. "Is there something wrong me?" Lucy asked. Natasha looked up. "No....why?" Lucy rolled her eyes. "Because I've been doing my best to flirt with your daughter all day and night and she hasn't given me the time of day."

Natasha laughed. Not rudely. Just because it was ridiculously funny. "No nothing is wrong with you. My daughter...is going through a bad breakup. She was dating Carol Danvers before Carol had to go back into space with no return date." Lucy nodded. "Oh...ok. That makes sense I guess. I'l just have to be patient then. Wait. Bide my time." Natasha nodded and rolled her eyes as she left the common room heading to her bedroom. Lucy sat there for a few more minutes before she too headed downstairs to her own room. Athena was in her room laying in her bed her eyes shut as she let sleep take over her her mind drifting into a peaceful sleep.

In the morning Athena headed to the training room after feeding her dogs to get in a workout before breakfast. She had just roundhouse kicked a training dummy when the door opened up and in came Lucy with a smile on her lips. "Good morning." Athena nodded in response as she continued training. "Still not a talker." Lucy said. "Not when I'm training." Athena hissed as her mom walked into the room. "Your form is off sweetheart. You're throwing your leg too fast." Natasha said as she walked over to Athena and began helping her prefect her form.
