PART 94

Dew, Win, Nani, Sky, Milk, and Bright were laughing together when Nani's phone rang. He  excused himself, stepping away from the group to answer.

"Hello? Who is this?" he asked.

"It's me," a familiar voice replied. Nani was surprised; it was Sky's dad. What could he possibly want now?

"What do you need?" Nani asked, a little wary.

"You know why I'm calling," he said, his voice low and serious.Nani's voice hardened. "If you're calling to try and break me and Sky up, I'm sorry, but it's not going to happen. I'm not afraid anymore. In fact," he added, his voice firm with newfound confidence, "Sky and I are planning to get married."With that, he hung up the phone.
