EXTRA:

**Just a little FYI moment so y'all are informed, Enrique's town is actually from the deleted scene from Encanto where it was supposed to be Alma's old town and also the place she came to look for Mirabel (Mariana?)

"Arriving Madrigals"

Estella heard the distant chatter from outside after accidentally leaving the window open last night.

Fully awake and clean, she heads downstairs to see if she could be of any help to Enrique's family.

"Good morning!" Ines greeted her cheerfully, giving her a wide smile to brighten Estella's day.

"Good morning," The girl laughed, a smile forming on her face due to the wholesome greeting.

Ines sighed, grabbing and fixing her hair in front of a mirror. "Sorry, the two boys usually wake up at 8:30-ish," She tells Estella. "Enrique wakes up early sometimes though, and so does Papa Victorino."

"Oh, it's okay," Estella tells her, waving her hands. "Can I help you with anything? Are you going somewhere?" She asked, seeing how Ines started to grab a bag and slung it on her shoulder.

"Well," Ines says hesitantly, "I am planning to go to the market..." She trails off, the two of them staring at each other waiting for her to continue.

"Wouldn't it be rude to let you come with me though?" Ines chuckled nervously, nibbling on her bottom lip. "No, no, it's okay. I don't mind."

"Should I tie my hair too?" Estella added, asking, mentally groaning at herself for letting a ridiculous question slip out of her mouth.

"Oh, oh!" Ines excitedly said, jumping a little, "I can tie it for you if you don't mind."

"Uhmmm," Estella laughed nervously, shrugging. "Sure?"

Ines excitedly let Estella sit down on a small stool in front of her on the sofa, giggling giddily as she grabs a comb and a pretty, yellow bow, tying the girl's hair into a high ponytail.

Soon after that, the two went to the market with each other. Ines talked and made conversation most of the time which Estella didn't mind, and she also showed her around for a bit as they walked over to the marketplace. Even on the way back home, Ines pointed out different places and introduced Estella to some of the people she knew.

By the time they got back to casa Marquez, Bubo was already up, surprised to see Estella with Ines, both of them carrying bags and baskets with different food.

He immediately helped the two women with what they were carrying and placed them in their kitchen.

"Oops," Ines says, covering her mouth as a gesture of her surprise. "I forgot to buy garlic." She whispered to herself, though Estella still managed to hear it seeing as how she was just two steps away from the woman.

"I can go back and buy some. How many cloves am I going to get?" Estella asked, smiling.

"The vendors know me, just tell them it's for Ines." The woman replied, handing Estella some money since it was almost time for breakfast and she still hasn't started yet.

She may or may not have gotten carried away with chitchatting with Estella and sharing a bit of some gossip with some of the people she knew; they were mostly the vendors.

Estella runs off outside, happy to help and eager to spend more time outside in the town. Ines watched the girl leave, her husband walking up to her, sipping his coffee.

"Dear," Ines says, not pulling her eyes away from the door, the smile on her face not fading. Bubo hummed, waiting for her to continue. "I want a daughter," She finishes, surprising the man and making him accidentally choke on some of his hot coffee.

Ines only laughed at his reaction, gently slapping his shoulder before going back into the kitchen to fix up all the things she bought with Estella along with breakfast.

Not a little later, Enrique bolts down the stairs, asking, "Where's Estella?"

"Maybe she's still at the market – still buying garlic," Bubo tells his cousin, about to make his way upstairs to fetch something.

"Oh, got it," Enrique said, fixing his hair in the mirror before yelling, "I'll just go see if she's still there," and walking out of the house after hearing Ines reply a simple ok cutely.

"Where even are we anymore?" Camilo asked, confident that they are now 100% lost.

"Maybe we didn't think this through," Mirabel muttered, sitting on a log in a forest they aren't familiar with, in search of a town they don't know how to get to.

"You think?" Isabela sassily said, making a flowery chair grow from the ground for her to sit on comfortably, crossing her arms.

"Hey, it's not like you said anything about it either," Mirabel tells her sister with a pout, leaning back to rest for a bit.

"Ugh," Camilo groaned, lazily leaning on a tree trunk. "The sun is rising faster than us. Why don't we just follow it and hope for the best?"

His two other cousins looked at him unamusedly; everyone was tired from walking ever since they woke up from their little campout last night.

Isabela stands up and sighs, waving her finger and gesturing for the two of them to come close to her. "Come over here, I have an idea."

Camilo and Mirabel exchanged glances at each other before walking up to Isabela curiously.

As soon as they were close enough to her, they exclaim in surprise when they suddenly felt the ground start to rumble. The three of them started going upward with the help of the tree Isabela was growing underneath them, their height making them able to see anything nearby.

"Over there!" Mirabel says, waving her hand to catch the other two's attention and pointing at the town in the distance.

"It's..." Camilo started, "so far," He groaned, his legs feeling like they were going to collapse with a few more steps.

"Do you want to bring your "Querida" back or not?" Isabela said, scowling at him, but still added a little bit of teasing with the pet name Camilo was currently using for Estella to show that she wasn't being that serious.

Pouting, the boy crosses his arms and slouches, shutting his mouth before he says something Isabela can and will use against his will.

"That's what I thought," His older cousin said, smirking, the tree starting to get smaller since they were going to continue moving on foot.

"Okay, we can do this," Mirabel cheered, pumping herself up, prepping her legs for more possible suffering, "Let's go!"

By the time the three of them arrived at the town, their mouths hung open because of how different it looked from theirs. They snuck out in the dead of night, managed to sleep in the woods for a little bit with the help of Isabela's powers, and started walking on foot again before the sun even came up. But since they didn't know where they were going, they got a little lost mid-way.

"So," Mirabel clears her throat, "Maybe we should split up and try asking if they saw Estella."

"But how? You're the only one who has a picture of her." Isabela asks before their attention turned to Camilo who was intensely blushing and avoiding their stares, his one hand holding onto something in one of his pockets.

Still avoiding eye contact, Camilo clears his throat and hands Isabela a small photo of Estella along with him and Mirabel – something they took two years younger but it was better than nothing.

Isabela scoffed at her cousin amusedly while Mirabel simply smiled wholeheartedly, getting butterflies from how Camilo kept a photo of their best friend even as they left home.

"Oh, but what about you?" Mirabel asked while Camilo shrugged. "I can shapeshift. Maybe I can pretend to be her twin or something."

"Here, just take mine instead. We can't let you two use your powers, people might react differently when they see you or figure us out." Mirabel tells them, handing Camilo a different picture with Estella on it.

"We should meet up there in an hour too," She added, pointing at a big tree in the distance before they started splitting up and asking people if they saw the girl in the picture. And when they ask, they just answer either "she's family" or "she's my sister," to avoid any further questions.

"Excuse me, Señor," Mirabel says, catching the attention of a passerby. "Have you seen a girl about my height? She has curly hair that's always tied into a messy bun, brown eyes, and wears clothes like these?" She continues, pointing at herself since the people in the town seemed to have different types of clothes and tastes in fashion now.

"I'm sorry, Mija, I haven't." The man replied, shaking his head. "Oh, okay, gracias."

Mirabel sighed and turned in a different direction to try asking someone else, her eyes landing on a familiar figure walking along with the crowd. It seems like he just woke up – he even still has bed hair.

She quickly ran towards him, trying to catch up and see if he knows where Estella was.

"Enrique!"
