Day 29- Realization

"I don't think Jellal would mind if I kill you right now." I said as I closed the door behind me.

Jellal was now on IV but the doc said he was all right, just a little high temperature.

I called Meredy out to give her an earful and I'm hoping she would realise and apologise for what she did.

She pushed back her hair tensely and averted my eyes.

"You didn't think Jellal would come running behind me, did you?"

She shook her head.

"And neither did your Laxus since he tied him up as well."

She nodded.

"Wah...you really are something huh...to put me in a cold storage? I have to say, that's pure evil Meredy-San."

"Listen, it wasn't my intention to harm Jellal, okay?"

"Of course it wouldn't be," I scoffed, "You just wanted me out of the way, right?"

"Correct."

"Well, that ain't happening anytime soon."

She glared at me.

"Jellal knows about your and Mimi's plan." I said.

"What?"

"Uh-huh, he knows everything. Now how do you suppose he would marry such a cruel lady?"

"That...that can't be--"

"You can't change the past now Meredy-San. You should have known the consequences before playing such cheap tricks."

Meredy took the support of the wall and slid down. "All I wanted was for you to get out of his life...Why did it turn out like this?"

"Evil always loses." I said.

Well...I thought I would teach her a lesson physically but I guess using violence will only make things worse...at least she realised what she did was wrong. That what she did had kept her fiancé' life in danger.

"Erza-San...I'm sorry," She looked up at me, "Will you--forgive me?"

If I don't accept her apology, will that make me a bad person too? Sure it would...

"To be honest, I can't forgive you...but since I respect the quote, 'forgive and forget'...Apology accepted."

She took a deep breath and buried her face in her palms. I do have a feeling that she didn't really intend for Jellal to get hurt...

Her love might be true as well but she didn't play fair. She didn't consider Jellal's feelings much...

I walked inside the room again and saw Jellal in a deep sleep. He looks even more handsome while sleeping...

I checked his forehead and his temperature was getting back to normal.Glad we brought him on time.

I pulled a chair and sat beside him. Intertwining my hands with his cold one, I stared at him.

I can't help but fall in love with him over and over again...
