Dan's POV

Immediately after the robot broke the gate to the castle, I used the dog spray on those two remaining cyberdogs outside the castle to stun them and take them down.

I ran through the broken gate and into the king's territory. In my surroundings, there were a bunch of dead bodies of the king's guards and some ninja rebels. There were even some ninja rebels stealing some valuable items from every nearby store. I even saw one ninja rebel stealing money from a dead executive earlier.

Ninja Rebel #3: Out of the way!

I jumped.

Ninja Rebel #4: Ninjas with a flat-screen coming through!

Do they even need that TV?

I continued to run further towards the castle but then I found a guard being held at gunpoint by a ninja rebel.

King Resistance: TELL ME WHERE THE KING IS RIGHT NOW!!!

Guard #1: He's upstairs in the castle hiding in his bathroom!

King Resistance: *knocks out the guard* Alright boys, let's go!

Just before one of the ninja rebels was about to follow King Resistance and one of his fellow members towards the castle entrance, he looked at me all confused as I stood at my position.

Ninja Rebel #1: Are you coming?

Me: No. I've got something important to do around here.

King Resistance: James! Hurry up and get moving! That's an order!

James (Ninja Rebel #1): Alright I'm coming! *runs*

Now, where did John and Steve find that manhole last time?

Josie's POV

Worried about my life being in danger, I'm still running on a treadmill underneath the king's castle along with the other 6 captured villagers. I'm almost near the edge behind me that will lead me into falling into a floor of spikes.

Female Villager #1: I...can't...keep...going...

Suddenly, the tired villager next to me tripped and fell. I tried to grab her hand but the treadmill was too fast, it threw her off into the spikes killing her.

Guard #2: *laughs* Peasant. Watch your step next time! *continues laughing*

I glared at the taunting guard above.

King's guard #2: Don't look at me like that hot stuff! You guys are meant to give power to us! But hey maybe I'll let you go, in exchange for...

Suddenly, the unarmed guard next to him started to forcefully restrain him from behind.

Guard #2: Hey! Ted! What are you doing?!

Ted (Guard #3): ONE OF YOU STOP THE MACHINE!!!

I was surprised to see that that guard was able to care for us innocent prisoners. But now since only one person is guarding the treadmill and the other villagers are still trying to run, I decided to make my move. With the much strength I have, I ran as fast as I could towards the other edge of the treadmill, jumped and kicked the guard knocking him out, and turned off the machine.

The villagers jumped off the treadmill as they cheered for their freedom and safety. Two of them even hugged each other.

Guard #2: What the hell is going on?!

Ted: Sorry Adam. *knocks him out* Everyone follow me! I'll get us out of here!

Dan's POV

After fighting with a bunch of guards roaming in the damp-smelling sewers, I heard through a wall where the King held the villagers and Josie prisoner. It sounds like they are escaping. While I was waiting for them to move to the exit door, I was setting up a bomb I found earlier to blow up the wall.

Wait a minute...I don't have anything to set it off...

What did the Geezers use to set off the bomb?

Oh, wait...one of them had nail clippers to cut a wire that would set a timer for itself. Wait...I thought these were remote bombs!

Whatever...I'm gonna think of another alternative to set off the bomb.

Just about a few seconds later, I realized I didn't have to use any nail clippers...I can use one of my weapons!

I dug my hand into my pocket and pulled out one of my gold shurikens. I remembered that the Vendor told me they can cause electricity when thrown, so I ran further from the bomb to make some distance.

I made my position, I aimed, and then...I threw the shuriken.

As it was flying towards the bomb, it was emitting some electric sparks of light. And then one of the blades penetrated the metal part of the bomb.

BOOM!!!

The shockwave from the explosion pushed me backward into a wall behind me. I opened my eyes, only to see everything look blurry until a few seconds later. Once I jumped back up on my feet, I saw through the smoke what the bomb did to where it was placed. Not only did it make a bigger hole in the wall, but it also made a crater on the stone floor.

I remembered that the Geezers were unaware that the captured villagers were behind that wall when they blew it up but this is a lot bigger than the last one.

I was getting worried...did I just kill the captured villagers and Josie?

Josie's POV

The explosion at the far wall opposite from us made us all jump in fear. Most of the villagers were panicking while some of us were frozen in shock including me.

But then...the panicking stopped and I couldn't believe what was coming out of the smoke...

Dan jumped through the smoke with a flying kick, landed on the floor with his feet, and did a Kung Fu pose.

Dan: WAZZAAA!!!

The villagers were cheering for his arrival. Some of them even copied his shout thinking he was saying "wazzup".

Dan: Hmm? *looks around and sighs in relief* Hey! Where's Josie?

Female Villager #2: Oh! You mean her?! *points her open hand to me*

I gasped.

I think Dan just came back from the dead and I just know now he's probably gonna kill me for not forgiving him and not saving him from falling down the bottomless pit.

I couldn't help but shake, sweat was trickling down the side of my forehead, and my heart was beating so fast that I felt like it's gonna burst out of my chest!

He jumped up on the deactivated treadmill and looked up towards me on the balcony.

I wanted to run through the door behind me and the villagers but they were all in the way, I don't wanna push them aside like a rude person!

Dan: *blushes* Josie...I-

Me: I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD!

I covered my mouth just after shouting that and everyone behind me gasped as if I just insulted Dan.

Dan: I know...I did die. And this might be a little hard to understand but...I never wanted to leave you. You-

Suddenly, a beaming light flashed out of nowhere and knocked Dan back all the way into the hole in the wall.

Me: Dan?!
