Note: Parts of this chapter are supposed to represent what happened at the end of Stage 8 but I also added a bit of what happened in the app game and a bit of one of my own ideas.

Dan's POV

I opened my eyes from the darkness surrounding me and found myself back in the village with the villagers on my left and the Resistance on my right, they were all bowing to me because of my revival.

The last thing I remembered was when I tried to stop the Advisor from escaping the raid in a helicopter but also held Josie hostage. She was able to escape his grasp and restrain him, so I can toss a shuriken at him but we were all shot by King Resistance, the leader of the Resistance.

Villager #1: What are you gonna do Dan? We can't go to war with the king! Let's keep trying to resolve this crisis peacefully!

King Resistance: Don't listen to them, Dan! They already failed to stop them with their protest. If we want to set the prisoners free and not let ourselves be next, we have to show them no mercy!

Villager #2: Violence is not the answer!

Ninja Rebel #1: Come on, Dan! Help us and we'll help your girlfriend! No longer will the both of you be our enemies!

Once again, I was struggling to choose who to side with. I know King Resistance will betray me if I choose to storm the castle but if I choose peace...how will I know Josie did not run out of running strength on the treadmill and fall into the spikes and die?

As the villagers and the ninja rebels kept arguing, one of the ninja rebels in a jetpack flew on top of a nearby house.

Jetpack Ninja Rebel: We're wasting too much time! We need to move now!

The ninja rebels saluted and then shouted a war cry as some of them shot their AK rifles in the air making the villagers run away to hide in their houses and/or nearby areas. I stood at my exact position as the ninja rebels charged toward the castle along with their giant robot holding a tree log. But finally, I made my decision.

5 minutes later

After fighting with a few of the King's guards harassing some villagers, I came across a small nearby shop called le olde shoppe, and after opening the door I met a very familiar person.

Vendor: Well look who it is...

Me: ...

Vendor: You know if my wife was here right now, she'd be furious.

I rolled my eyes, remembering what had happened almost a month ago...

After fighting with a few members of the Resistance and their first giant robot, I saved a princess they held prisoner but instead of using the key to unlock the tower, I gave the key to the Vendor. Why did I do that you might be asking? It's because I knew in one lifetime she'd be telling me to go buy stuff I couldn't afford for her.

She's such a gold digger.

Vendor: So...there's a reason why you came here isn't there?

Me: Do you sell any weapons?

Vendor: Oh yes. Which ones?

Me: Ninja stars, guns, nunchucks,...dog spray?

Vendor: Why do you need dog spray?

Me: No reason.

Vendor: Alright...

The Vendor bent down underneath his counter and pulled out the things I needed; nunchucks, a pack of ninja stars, a handgun with a pack of bullets, and of course...dog spray.

Me: Where are the big guns?

Vendor: Actually...this is the only thing available at this time. And I don't assume you have enough for all of this?

I pulled out a bag of gold coins and placed it on the wooden counter.

Me: This is about $600 or more. Keep the change.

Vendor: Too bad I cannot say no to that. Now be warned...these golden ninja stars are the electric types, once thrown towards your opponents, it will shock them. But after that's happened, they'll still be active, so don't pick them back up. Also...no refunds.

Me: ...*blinks*

3rd POV

Dan went charging towards the castle with nunchucks in one hand and the handgun in the other, along with the Resistance. The guards and troopers fought with all their strength but they were no match for Dan, the Ninja Rebels, and their giant robot.

Meanwhile at a nearby pub before the King's bridge, the Geezers were on the balcony chilling out after trying to protest against the King half an hour ago.

Steve (Bald Geezer): I got the drinks, John.

Just then a few ninja rebels on the road were seen catching up with the army.

John (Hat Geezer): Hey you! What's going on?

Ninja Rebel #2: We're storming the castle to set the captured villagers free! They've been forced to run for power. *continues to run* Hey guys! Wait for me!

John: Should we help them out?

After hearing John's question, Steve suddenly began to see flashing visions of what would happen if they both decided to storm the castle. The visions showed dead bodies of every ninja rebel, guard, executive, and finally Josie, Dan, and John.

Steve: Nah, let them go. I'm pretty sure they can handle it. *gives John a beer*

John: Alright then, brother.

Steve: *sits down* To our friendship, and hopes of the ninjas winning.

They clinked their bottles together and drank up.
