Chapter 5 (Final)

08:13, 7 April 2020

"She's this way. " Both you and Kensei were jumping through the skies as you looked for your teacher. "How did this happen, since when are hollows able to do this take over human bodies like that. " Your eyes moved to the side when you saw someone at the corner of your view.

"Rukia!" you called noticing the dark hair. She jumped right next to you following. "Sorry it took me a while to join back Kensei. I had to deal with the little uproar you started at the school." He gave a grunt. "I didn't have time to be careful princess." She glared at him.

"Whatever, because of you I had to erase the memories of almost the entire second floor. " you sighed with a smile. One last problem to worry about. "Thank you so much Rukia." she returned your smile. "You're welcome. So where are we with this hollow." you focused. The three of you were still soaring through the sky.

You came to an abrupt halt when you felt a spike. They both stopped turning to you. Your stomach churned uneasily. "Do you guys feel that?" They exchanged a look, turning to you.

"We don't feel anything, where is it coming from?" you looked down at an old abandoned building. "Over there."  you pointed. They nodded jumping down towards the pale colored building. You landed, eyes looking ahead.

"Inside." you spoke. Kensei and Rukia followed. "I'm still at a loss how you can sense it so well. We only feel it when it changes bodies, that's the only time it's vulnerable. " Rukia said. The three of you entered through the broken down door.

"Ichigo encountered this before." Kensei informed. You looked at him. "It feeds off individuals with considerable spiritual pressure. If we can't separate it from it's host, we may have no choice." your eyes wavered. "D-Does that mean that sensei will.." Kensei looked down. "Only as a last resort. " he mumbled. Your eyes scanned the building. "It's not going to withdraw easily, the only way it will exit its previous body is if the current one is in danger. We have to be smart." Your eyes sparked up.

"That's right, It's like a parasite, so if it thinks the host is dying, it'll leave." you said internally. You knew what you would have to do.

"So you found me." you flinched, turning in the direction of the voice. Your teacher stood on a old rusted ledge with a cocky smirk. The dark glint in her eyes alerted you that she was definitely not the teacher you had come to know. "I'm impressed. Usually it's hard for reapers to track me down. " she said arrogantly.

"Enough talk, get the hell out of that body or I'll beat you out." Kensei threatened. She grinned.

"Please, won't lay a hand on this body. This is an innocent human soul. Harming me goes against everything you stand for." Kensei gritted his teeth, and Rukia shifted with an uneasy look. "So what you going to do." in a blink she was gone, the next time she appeared she was hovering right in front of Rukia.

"Watch out!! You yelled. Rukia didn't have time to react until it was too late. Your teacher drew her foot back, delivering a harsh kick to her face. Rukia's body propelled through the air before crashing into the ground harshly. Kensei moved to intercept but your teacher was faster, moving to place another strong kick. He blocked the attack with the back of his hand, forcing the women back. She did a back flip, jumping back a few feet.

He took a stance as your teacher grinned from the distance. "I'm on the defensive, I can't fight back or I might kill her." Kensei growled annoyed. Rukia picked herself off the ground with a slight wince. "I-I didn't even feel when she moved. How do we fight her without hurting the human."

A resolute look settled in your eyes. "Leave it to me." You walked over standing directly in front of your teacher with your hand raised. Kensei looked at you in alarm.

"What the hell are you doing." your teacher just grinned. "Are you going to fight me now, take your best shot." she said proudly, pressing her shoulder to your open palm. Your wore a stoic expression.

"Bakudo No. 8: Repulse." the blue light shined from your hand making your teacher's eyes widen in shock. The bright beam went right through her shoulder. When you heard the tearing of her flesh and noticed the huge gaping wound now in her shoulder, you just watched. She let out a blood curdling scream, jumping back as she held her injured limb. Kensei and Rukia looked just as stunned.

"Y-You attacked her!! She's your teacher." the hollow cried. You smirked with a shrug.

"What can I say, she always gave me bad grades in class. One less teacher for me to worry about. " you spoked nonchalantly. "Y-You're kidding." she said shakily. You wore a dark look, flash stepping.

"Am I?" you asked standing directly in front of her. You grabbed her by the collar, lifting her off the ground. "Guess we'll find out. " you raised your hand aiming it at her head this time.

"Bakudo-" she flinched and your eyes watched as a ball seemed to move upwards from your teacher's throat. The object flew out as your teacher's body went limp. You raised a finger.

"Hado No. 4: Byakurai." an electric light shined from your finger shooting out and hitting the ball directly. The blue light expanded going straight through the building. You blinked as the light dissipated. Rukia's eyes were staring at you in awe. "Incredible." she thought.

"It's over." you said holding your teacher in your arms as you moved to Rukia.

"She needs healing. " you spoke. Rukia snapped out of her slight haze. "R-Right! I'll get her to Orihime immediately." Rukia took her, taking off in a flash. When Rukia was gone, you felt like a heavy weight was released.

You looked down grimacing when you saw your teacher's blood on your hands. You staggered forward slightly. Kensei appeared before you, placing his hands on your shoulders to keep you upright. You looked up. "K-Kensei.." you whispered. He smiled. "You were wrong before, this town does need you." he spoke.

"You did really good today, relax." you smiled, leaning your head against his chest.

"Thanks.." you said softly.

"Everything turned out okay, that was some quick thinking you did. I must say that was a hell of a risk you took." Rukia stated. The three of you retired back to your apartment once everything was resolved.

Rukia was about to head back to the soul society, but she wanted to ensure you knew of your teacher's recovery. You gave a nod. "I know, but it was all I could think about. I figured since sensei has such a high level of reiatsu, an attack like that would be easier for her to recover from." Rukia nodded. "Well you were right, Orihime healed her up quickly and I already erased her memory. You also managed to dispose of the hollow without further casualties. Thank you. " Rukia said gratefully.

"Anytime." you smiled. With one last goodbye, she left. You rolled your shoulders, dropping your bag. "Today was tough. "You said looking at Kensei. He smirked at you and you blushed.

"W-What?" you asked curiously.

"You looked pretty hot when you went all dark on that hollow. " you stammered.

"A-Are you kidding me!?!" I-I was t-trying to save s-sensei t-that's the only reason I had to act like that!" you huffed. He was silent for a while.

"It was a serious turn on." you blanked.

"J-JUST BE QUIET!!" Kensei chuckled scooping you into his arms. You squeaked.

"I'm looking forward to seeing your bad side again (Y/N)." you swallowed.

"B-BAKA!!"
