Chapter 8
05:19, 12 February 2015After long hours of performing and boredom...
Nala's POV
I waited patiently in front of the door. When it opened, Foxy almost didn't see me.
"Aye, lass! Why ye be sitting here? I almost crushed ye!" Foxy exclaimed.
"I was waiting." I smiled. He knelt down beside me, putting his hand on my shoulder.
"So ye were, lass, so ye were." he smiled and picked me up. "So, are ye excited for tomorrow?"
"Yes!" I said loudly. Foxy laughed.
"I bet ye are." he sat down in his usual chair with me on his lap. Chica, Bonnie, and Freddy rushed in.
"Hi, Nala!" they said in unison.
"I know you're going to be mad, but we want everyone to go to bed early." Chica explained.
"Why?" I asked.
"Well, tomorrow's your birthday and we want to make sure it's awesome! Well, you'll sleep in a bit, but we'll be decorating and getting ready." Chica explained.
"Alrighty. Does that sound good to ye, lass?" Foxy asked.
"Ok." I slid off of him onto the floor. I waited for him to get up and follow me into my room to tuck me in.

Chica's POV
I woke up before everyone else. I was filled with joy. Today is Nala's birthday! I got up quickly, took a shower, brushed my teeth, washed my face, and hurried back to my room. I was more excited than ever. I grabbed my favorite party dress, one with glitter lining the edges and lace lining the bottom. I made sure to put on a blouse underneath so the frilly wrists of the blouse poked out to add some pizzazz. I grabbed some bright yellow flats and white tights to go along with my outfit. Instead of my usual bib, I put on a beautiful diamond necklace that Foxy got me for my birthday. The middle was a circular diamond with various colored, petal-shaped gemstones. Then, I grabbed some nice, silky gloves that had lace on the bottom.
I briskly walked out of my room, greeting Bonnie as he sleepily walked out of his room, and headed for the bathroom to fix up my hair and add my bright yellow Barrett for the finishing touch.
Bonnie's POV
I watched Chica as she excitedly bounded down the hall into the bathroom. I went to Freddy's room and woke him up. Then, I went back to my room to get ready. I put on my nice trousers and pearly white, long-sleeved, button-up shirt. I grabbed my striped purple vest and red bow tie. I put on my socks and best shoes, then walked over to my full-body-lengthed mirror. I looked side to side.
"Looking good, Bonnie, looking good." I chuckled at myself. I went to the bathroom and knocked.
"Come in!" Chica shouted. I opened the door to see her perfecting the way her Barrett sat in her head. "Oh hi, Bonnie! Better fix up that mess you call hair before she wakes up." I smiled and ran a brush through my hair. I made sure my bangs combed over to one side. Then, I went into the living room to wait.
Freddy's POV
Bonnie woke me up and, surprisingly, I listened without having to be a grump about it. Today was Nala's birthday and I wasn't going to ruin it for her. I put on my best brown suit and tie, along with my top hat and all. Once I had my shoes and socks all set, I headed for my mini mirror against my wall. I temporarily took off my top hat and brushed my hair. My hair tended to curl up in a swirl at one side. I put my top hat back on and headed towards the living room.
Foxy's POV
I woke up without a single interruption. I smiled brightly for the first time in years. Nala's birthday was today and I wanted to make it the most special one she'll ever have. I stood up and quickly put on some nice black dress pants and a white button-up shirt. The wrists frilled out on the ends. I slid the base of my hook off, staring longingly at the stub where my hand was ment to be. I shook off the feeling and searched for my favorite hook.
The hook was a metallic white with gemstones across the bottom. It shined perfectly, as if it were a pearl itself, and seemed to glow in the light. I put it on and looked for my best overcoat. It was a pitch-black with beautiful golden lining on the edges and a deep, blood red color on the inside. I looked at myself in my mirror and snorted at my hair. It looked wild and untamed. I soon stood in shock. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. I, then, grabbed a brush and attempted to tame it. When I was finished, I went into the living room.
Nala's POV
I laid there, staring up at the ceiling. I've been up for about half an hour. I was too excited to go back to sleep. Soon, the door opened and Chica walked into the room.
"Good morning, Nala!" she chirped. I smiled and sat up. "Lets make you look petite and presentable." I got out of bed and waited for Chica to find a good outfit for me.
"Let's see... your birthstone is Opal, so lets get a nice girly dress. Ok, Nala?" she looked at me.
"Ok." I smiled. She searched and searched until she suddenly went, "Aha!"
"Here, put this on!" she handed me a long, light pink dress that poofed out at the bottom. It had lace lining the bottom and the wrists. Across the collar were fake pearls lined up. I put it on as Chica looked for matching shoes. She gave me short, white socks with some buckle-up white dress shoes and white, laced, fingerless gloves. When I was done getting everything on, she hurried me into the bathroom.
"Ah, your hair is so long and pretty." she marveled on and on about my hair as she brushed it gently, not wanting to hurt me. She put my hair into a very low pony-tail and split it into three parts. Then, she began to braid it. When she was all done she told me to stay here. I looked at myself in the mirror after she left. I looked and felt pretty.
"I'm baa~aack." she sang. She had brought an Opal tiara and put it on my head. "Oh, you look even cuter than ever!" We left the bathroom and walked down the hallway into the living room, me behind her of course.
"Good morning, Chica. Where's Nala?" Freddy asked.
"Well," she began. She stepped to the side and let me step forward. "Ta-Da!"
"Ye look absolutely marvelous, lass." Foxy smiled warmly at me.
"Stunning. I wish I was a photographer." Bonnie said.
"I like it. The tiara and outfit fits perfectly with your complexion." Freddy said.
"Since when did you get into fashion?" Chica asked him.
"Oh, geez. I was just complimenting her appearance." Chica rolled her eyes over-exaggeratingly. We walked towards the couch and sat down, me in between Bonnie and Chica.
"Are you ready for presents?" Freddy asked me. I nodded slightly, not wanting to knock my tiara off.
