*-*Third Person's POV*-*

Dustin was making Steve put that monster in the fridge, not caring that it was a place where food actually had to go. Meliah, was sitting by the table, Lucas and max were cleaning up the glass laying on the floor, as Mike was pacing holes in the floor. "Mike, would you just stop already?" Lucas asks getting irritated with his friend's pacing.

"You weren't in there, okay, Lucas? That lab is swarming with hundreds of those dogs." Mike says, a very nervous look on his face.

"Demo-dogs!" Dustin yells from the kitchen correcting him. "The chief will take care of her." Lucas points out.

"Like she needs protection." Max says with a roll off her eyes.

"Listen, dude, a coach calls a play in a game, bottom line, you execute it. All right?" Steve says.

"Okay, first of all, this isn't some stupid sports game. And second, we're not even in the game. We're on the bench." Mike says, annoyed.

"Maybe it's better that were on the bench, there's nothing we can do to help the others." Meliah points out to the younger one's. "That's not entirely true. I mean, these Demo-dogs, they have a hive mind. When they ran away from the bus, they were called away." Dustin explains.

"If we get their attention..." Lucas says, trailing off, "Maybe we can draw them from the lab." Max says.

"Clear a path to the gate." Mike says, deep in thought.

"Yeah, and then we all die." Steve tries pointing out the obvious.

"That's one point of view." Dustin says to him

"No, that's not a point of view, man. That's a fact." Steve says, but no one was listening to the teenager, as mike's face lit up. "I got it!" Mike says, walking to a certain part of all the pictures taped all over the house. "This is where the chief dug his hole. This is our way into the tunnel. So... Here, right here. This is like a hub. So you got all the tunnels feeding in here. Maybe if we set this on fire..." Mike explains, walking to another part of the puzzle all over the house.

"Oh, yeah? That's a no." Steve states firmly, but none of them were listening. "The mind flayer would call away his army." Dustin says.

"They'd all come to stop us." Lucas says.

"We circle back to the exit." Mike states.

"Guys." Meliah says trying to get their attention.

"By the time they realize we're gone..." Mike says, as Max finishes the rest of the sentence, "El would be at the gate"

"Hey. Hey! Hey! This is not happening." Steve yells, clapping his hands, finally having the kids attention.

"But..."

"No, no, no, no, no. No buts. I promised I'd keep you shitheads safe, and that's exactly what I plan on. We're staying here. On the bench. And we're waiting for the starting team to do their job. Does everybody understand?" Steve asks the four children who was staring at him with annoyance.

"This isn't a stupid sports game." Mike states.

"I said does everybody understand that? I need a yes." Steve says, putting his foot down on this, just then they heard a engine revving and a car driving into the driveway.

Max and Meliah went to the window to see a very familiar car. "It's my brother. He can't know I'm here. He'll kill me. He'll kill us." Max says, her attention going to Lucas for a split second, Meliah thought for a few seconds, when she decide she go out, walking towards the door.

"Mel, wait! I'm coming with you." Steve spoke up, not liking the idea of leaving her out there alone with this guy.

Billy got out the car, to see the two on the porch and he didn't like that Meliah was hanging out with Steve, this time of night. "Am I dreaming, or is that you, Harrington?" Billy asks, slamming his car door shut. "Yeah, it's me. Don't cream your pants." Steve says, just hoping he would leave.

"Princess, I didn't expect to see you here." Billy states, staring at her.

"Yeah, it just happened." Meliah says causilly.

"What are you doing here, amigo?" Billy questions Steve, stepping closer to the two, they also moved closer to him. "I could ask you the same thing. Amigo." Steve states.

"Looking for my stepsister. A little birdie told me she was here." Billy says, remembering how he got that information, looking at Meliah he started feeling guilty for seducing an older woman. "Huh, that's weird. I don't know her." Steve says, shrugging his shoulders.

"I haven't seen her either." Meliah says trying her best not to get caught lying.

"Small? Redhead? Bit of a bitch." Billy explains, hoping to get some answers.

"Doesn't ring a bell. Sorry, buddy." Steve says.

"You know, I don't know, this... This whole situation, Harrington, I don't know. It's giving me the heebie-jeebies." Billy states, looking from Steve to Meliah. "What could possibly give you the heebie-jeebies, the adults went out, and asked Steve and I to babysit." Meliah says, hoping he would buy it.

"My 13-year-old sister goes missing all day. And then I find her with Harrington in a stranger's house.And you lie to me about it. I can't believe you would lie to me princess." Billy says, Meliah hated how he was glaring at her, like she was some disease.

"Man, were you dropped too much as a child, or what? I don't know what you don't understand about what we just said. She's not here." Steve points out, billy points his cigarette towards the window after he licked his lips, "Then who is that?"

"Oh, shit. Listen..." Steve tries to say something, but he got pushed to the ground."I told you to plant your feet." Billy tells him, walking towards the house, as he passed Meliah he bumped her shoulder hard, making her fall aswell. Steve got up helping her up aswell, the two ran into the house when they heard yelling.

Billy had Lucas up against the wall when he yelled, "I said get off me!" Kicking him in-between the legs, letting go of the boy, when he got his poster back, his attention was on Lucas right away. "So dead, Sinclair! You're dead." Billy yells in anger.

Steve turned him around so that he could look at him, as he says, "No. You are." Punching him right in the face, it made Dustin chuckle in amazement.

"Steve!" Max yells, as billy starts laughing. "Looks like you got some fire in you after all, huh? I've been waiting to meet this King Steve everybody's been telling me so much about." Billy says in amusement.

"Get out." Steve tells him, pushing him away from him lightly, it only angered billy more, as he swang his fist at steve, as steve duck, avoiding getting punched in the face. Meliah was frozen against the wall as she watched the fight, the boys kept on yelling for Steve to kick the guy's ass, every time he hits billy, billy only laughs, hitting right back.

"Yes! Kick his ass, Steve!"

"Get him!"

"Murder the son of a bitch!"

"Now! Now!"

"Get that shithead!"

"Kill the son of a bitch!"

"Steve!" Dustin yells, as he got hit over the with a bottle, Meliah didn't know how she would be able to stop this, but he knew she had too.

"Billy!" Max yells.

"Holy shit!"

"Shit!"

"No one tells me what to do!" Billy says, getting on top of Steve, and he starts hitting him, with no sign of stopping, everyone yelling for him to stop, but billy didn't seem like he was going to stop anytime soon.

Meliah saw the injection Mrs Byers used to put Will to sleep, without any hesitation, she grabbed it, making her way towards him, putting it in his neck, injecting him with the liquid that was inside of the needle. Billy got up, feeling his neck asking, "The hell is this?", when he turned around he saw it was Meliah who did it.

"What did you do, princess? What did you do?" Billy asks, pulling it from his neck, he took a few steps towards her, and then he fell to the ground, laughing.

"Shit."

Max didn't hesitate to grab the spiked bat, holding it up, as she says, "From here on out, you leave me and my friends alone. Do you understand?" She asks.

"Screw you." Billy mutters, max let the bat fall close to his private parts as she yells. "Say you understand! Say it! Say it!" Max yells in anger.

"I understand." Billy mutters softly.

"What?" Max asks.

"I understand." Billy says a bit louder, passing out, max let the bat fall, grabbing his car keys.

"Let's get out of here." Max says.
