*-*Third Person's POV*-*

Merliah took it up on herself to stay behind and look after Billy, the kids did not take that lightly fighting against her about staying behind, but after she reassure them that she would be okay, alone with him, Lucas did make her swear if he does something to her, she has to call the police if he dares try hurting her again, as Merliah promised the kids that she would do so, they left with an unconscious steve.

Merliah cleaned up Billy's cuts, well the few he had, it almost looked like Steve never touched him, she couldn't help, but admirer his face, tracing her fingers along side his face, even though he has hurt the people she cares about, she still felt this pull towards him.

Billy's eyes fluttered open after an three hours, sitting up straight he looked at his surroundings and saw Meliah sitting on the couch not that far from him, but there was no one else in sight.

"Where's Maxine?" Billy asks calmly, staring at her.

Meliah looked up towards him, not showing her fear as she calmly says, "They went to save a friend, and I called her mother, telling her she was with me the entire day and that she would be sleeping over." Meliah also did it to get Billy's dad off his back.

Billy got up, walking straight to her, picking her up by her shirt, glaring down at her. "Who the hell do you think you are?" Billy yells in her face, but her expression didn't change.

"Me? I'm trying to be the mature one, because your acting like a child." Meliah states, Billy didn't like that one bit throwing her to the floor, not looking guilty once. Meliah fell on her shoulder, the impact caused a big bruise to start forming, having her had enough of his tantrums, so she got up, pushing him, hard.

"You are acting like a child, just because one person keeps on treating you like shit, you take your anger out on everyone else, which you think is fair, but guess what honey, if you gonna keep up this attitude, your gonna end up alone!" Meliah shouts, pointing at his chest in anger.

"What do you know? You don't know anything!" Billy yells, not sure if he should cry or get angry at this point, seeing the girl he has started to develop feelings for him, this angry towards him, it made him feel different kinds of emotions.

"I know your father beats you, if you don't do as your told, he treats you like your shit, and it's making you act like a angry jerk towards everyone else." Meliah says, not backing down, especially when she saw Billy looking at her with tears in his eyes.

"How do you know that?" He asks softly, looking up at her, as a year rolls down his cheek.

"Max told me, just because you take most of your anger out on her, doesn't mean she doesn't care about you, she just wishes you would treat her a little better." Meliah informs him, Billy sat down on the floor feeling all the pain he has caused the people around him, and tears started running down his face, as he apologizes staring at the floor.

"I'm sorry, that I only know how to hurt people, it was never my intention to do so, i just have so much anger build up inside of me, that i dont know what to do with it. My dad keeps on hitting and hurting me if I don't do as he says, and its not those lousy hits like Harrington gave me, but really hard punches, that leaves bruises on me for weeks, and i just can't seem to find the courage to stand up for myself, and in the process I ended up hurting you too." Billy told her crying, once he saw the bruises, realising what he did, the guilt started to eat him from the inside out.

Merliah went to sit next to him on the floor pulling him into her arms, and she let him cry, she didn't say anything except for playing with his hair, humming to him.

"You know, this is probably not the most appropriate thing to say, at a time like this, but you can always take your anger out on me, I mean there are other ways to get your anger out." Meliah whispers to him, as she was holding him in her arms.

Billy chuckles softly, as he says, "I'll think about it."

Merliah took him to her place before the others got back that night, as they got into her bed, snuggling up to each other, for the first time Billy actually felt happy, he looks up at Merliah, he puts his hand on her cheek, pulling her into a kiss.

One month later

Merliah was laying on her side on Billy's bed, staring at him as he was working out, she couldn't help but bite her lip, as she watched him. Billy was smirking to himself when he saw her eyes traveling his body, which was why he took his shirt off on purpose.

A knock on the door had the two look at each other than the door. Billy got up opening the door, to find Max standing by his door.

"Can I help you with something?" Billy asks his stepsister.

"No, but Merliah can." Max saying, pointing at the girl on Billy's bed.

"What can I do for you?" Merliah asks the girl with a smile.

"Can you help me get ready for the dance later tonight?" Max asks her with pleading eyes.

"Yes, I will help you get ready, two hours before the dance okay?" Merliah says, all she could think was running her hands all over Billy at that moment.

"Thank you, Liah." Max says, smiling as she walked away, Billy closest his door, slowly walking up to her, his eyes trailing over her, as she only had his shirt on, he couldn't help but think how beautiful she looked.

"Are you just gonna stare at me all day?" Merliah asks, a seductive smile on her face. Billy picked her up laying her down on her back, climbing on top of her. "Why do you always have to look so fantastic?" Billy asks, leaving a trail of kisses down her neck, nibbling on her skin.

"Your one to talk." She says, breathlessly, Billy smirked against her skin, satisfied with how she reacted to each kiss.

After two hours passed, Billy had completely tired her out, as she left the room to help Max get ready, Billy falls back, staring at his ceiling a big smile on his face.

At first he hated that they moved here, now he was glad that they did, he just hoped this happiness he feels with her would last.
