T H I R D P E R S O N'S P O V

WHEN PETE arrived at the minor family mansion. He immediately went out to the car.

"P'Pete." Cad greeted Pete.

"Where's Leo? What's happening here?" Pete asked him.

"He's in Khun Vegas office, Phi." Cad answered Pete.

Pete quickly ran to Vegas office. When he entered the office, he saw Leo at the computer. 

"Phi, I'm glad that you are here."  Leo walked near at Pete and gave Vegas phone. "Khun Vegas left his phone.."

Pete tsked. He became more anxious because Vegas is nowhere to be found. "Do you find anything to his computer?" Pete asked.

Leo shook his head, "It has a password, Phi. I just know his old password." Leo replied.

Pete nodded and went to Vegas' table. He roamed his eyes in the table, searching for any traces that Vegas left. Then, Pete saw the bracelet he gave before to Vegas.

"He even left this?" Pete muttered.  

'What are you thinking, Vegas?  Are you trying to kill yourself?'  Pete thought because he can't understand why Vegas did that.

He opened Vegas computer and tried Vegas birthday, but it was incorrect.

"What the hell is his password?" Pete asked himself, thinking deeply what password should he put.

"Is it birthday of Macau?" Pete groaned when it's still incorrect when he tried it.

"Fuck, Vegas. What's your damn password?" Pete uttered and massaged his temples.

'Is it my birthday?' Pete assumed.

He typed his birthday and he can't help but smiled  when it opened. "Damn you, Vegas." Pete muttered and hurriedly scanned Vegas' laptop.

Nervousness started to crawl in Pete's spine as he scanned the CCTV footages in Vegas' office at the Theerapanyakul Company.

"Shit, Vegas. You're making me fucking worried. Where the hell are you?" Pete uttered and continue to browse Vegas' files.

Then, his eyes widened when he opened the latest file... "Why Khun Wave is here?" Pete uttered, confused of what's happening.

Vegas seems furious while talking to Khun Wave

Pete looked at Leo, "Leo, is it possible to hear what they are talking about?" Pete asked.

"Yes, Phi. Here." Leo fixed the settings.

"Where the fuck is my brother, Wave?" Vegas asked with gritted teeth.

Wave smiled wickedly, "Scared? Aren't you excited to the games we are playing?"

"What the fuck do you want, Wave?" Vegas said.

Wave scoffed, "You are no fun, Vegas. We're just starting... and you quickly let go Pete." Wave said and shook his head disappointed.

"I want to play with him tho. Would you mind?" Wave asked mockingly.

"Don't you dare, Wave." Vegas said sternly.

"Anyways, do you want to see your brother?" Wave stood up, "Go in this place. Alone. Your brother will be dead once we found out that you break the rule." Wave gave Vegas a paper note before he left the office.

"Damn you, Wave." Vegas muttered while staring at the note.

"What the hell!?" Both Pete and Leo uttered when they heard the conversation of the two.

"Khun Wave is the mastermind of this?" Leo said, still shocked on what he found out.

Pete's forehead knitted, remembering about he had witnessed and heard..."No.. it's not Khun Wave." Pete stated.

Pete zoomed the video to know what is written on the note. "Leo, make sure to know what is written in this note. I will just go to Vegas' room" Pete ordered before he went out to the office.

When Pete entered Vegas' room, he roamed his eyes on it, remembering the first time they unleashed their love in this room.

"Vegas, why you did not tell me your problem?" Pete muttered.

"Where are you, Vegas?" Pete uttered as he walked near Vegas' bed.

He sat in the bed. Pete's eyes starting to watered, because he's thinking about Vegas and Macau's condition.

"Please...don't let anything bad happened to Vegas and Macau... I can't bear that...please..." Pete pleaded to God.

Pete stood up, however he stopped midway when his eyes settled on a piece paper above Vegas' side table.

He quickly get the paper and saw Vegas' penmanship

'For my dearest Pete'

Pete immediately opened the letter...

Hello, my love.

I miss you so much.

I am sure that by the time you're reading this, I am already gone.

Sorry. That's what I want to tell you. Sorry for all the hurtful words I said to you. I know I hurt you too much with the actions and words I said to you. I don't know what to do anymore; I don't want to be separated from you, but I also don't want you to be involved in the mess of my life. It hurts, but I chose to let you go. I can't bear to see you disappear from me too. I've lost Macau; I don't want to lose you too. It's enough for me to see you safe in Uncle Korn's place.

  Pete, I want you to know that you are the best thing that ever happened to my life. When I first met you at the welcoming party, 3 years ago... that was one of the happiest events in my life, because I met you.

I used to think that love wasn't for me, because I wasn't serious about it, and I thought that love wasn't for me because I witnessed the relationship between mom and dad, but you came into my life... You gave me something new to hope for in my life, and I will never forget the days I spent with you.

I will carry those memories of you with me wherever I go. Now, I don't know what would be the outcome of these... But don't worry; I will bring Macau back, no matter what happens to me—even if I die.

Pete closed his eyes as the tears in his eyes keep flowing in his face. After reading Vegas' letter, he was tormented.

"V-vegas..n-no...p-please.." Pete continue to cry his heart out while hugging the letter of Vegas.

Pete stood up, and hurriedly went out to Vegas' room.

He entered Vegas' office, "L-leo..."

Leo looked at Pete, "P'Pete, why are you crying?" Leo asked.

Pete's knees trembled, causing him to fell on knees on the floor, "L-leo..V-vegas...w-we need to s-see him.." Pete sobs, "I c-can't... p-please.."

Leo hurriedly hugged Pete and console him, "Don't cry now, Phi. I've already decoded the address."

"V-vegas... h-he's saying g-goodbye to me, Leo.." Pete said, still can't process what he read. All he think is the safety of Vegas and Macau.

He wanted to save them both. But, he can't accept why Vegas seems decided that he's going to die in this battle.

"P'Pete, look at me. You need to be strong, for us to save both Khun Vegas and Khun Macau. Be strong for them, we are here to help you find them." Leo said to Pete while his eyes starting to watered to, but he's trying to stop it.

"Please, Phi. We are all here for the three of you in this fight. W-we are going to win this b-battle.We are going to save Khun Vegas and Khun Macau alive." Leo said, trying not to cry too because he's afraid too to the safety of his bosses.

Pete sniffed and wiped his tears, "W-we will save both of t-them." Leo assists Pete to stand up.

"Yes, Phi." Leo answered.

Pete calmed himself.

'Pete, Vegas and Macau needs you right now. You need to be strong for them.' He thought as he wipes his tears.

After calming himself, he sighed before he looked at Leo.

"I will ask help to Khun Korn, Leo. Send me the address. Ready all the bodyguards here and make sure that you bring enough firearms." Pete ordered.

"Let's meet in the location." Pete muttered.

Leo nodded, "Copy, Phi."

Pete nodded and uttered his gratitude to Leo, before he quickly went out to Vegas' office.

When he was about to ride his car, he halted when he saw a familiar figure.

It's Vegas and Macau's mother.

When Elisa saw that Pete noticed her, she quickly ran to him, "Pete... what's happening here?"

"Ma'am.. Vegas left by himself to save Macau. And I am going to Khun Korn to ask for help." Pete explained. 

"W-what? What happened to Macau? To Vegas?" Elisa asked, shocked. Her sons are now in danger because of her cowardliness. 

"If you want to go with me, Ma'am, we need to hurry up before it's too late." Pete said.

"I w-will go to you.." Elisa said and hurriedly rode in the car along with Pete.

Pete immediately stepped on the accelerator, he was so nervous that they might be late for them. And he was thinking why Wave did that to Vegas. 

"What happened to my sons, Pete?" Elisa asked.

"Macau got kidnapped, Ma'am. And now, Vegas left without his bodyguards." Pete replied, worry is visible in his voice.

"W-what? D-do you know who kidnap Macau?" Elisa's fidgeting in her seat, hoping that her hunch was wrong. 

Pete nodded, "We already knew who is he." Pete tsked when he remember the face of Wave while talking to his Vegas.

'Does he think he can woo me? My ass is for Vegas only.'  Pete thought, killing Wave in his mind.

"W-who is he, Pete?" Elisa asked, nervousness was written on her face.

"It's Wave Rattana." Pete replied, "Wave Rattana from W.R. Corporation. That fucker." Pete said with gritted teeth.

Elisa's face turned pale when she heard that, "W-what did you say, Pete? What c-company?" 

"W.R. Corporation, Ma'am." Pete answered.

"We're here, Ma'am. I will just tell it to Khun Korn." Pete said and quickly unbuckled his seatbelt.

"I am too late... he already found Vegas."  Pete's forehead knitted when he didn't clearly heard what Elisa uttered; however, he doesn't have enough time to acknowledge that. 

He went out in the car and ran inside the main family mansion, "Pete, where did you go?" Arm welcomed him with a question.

"Where's Khun Korn, Arm? I need to talk to him." Pete said, with urgency in his voice.

"In his office, Pete. What's happening?" Arm asked, confused about what's happening.

"Vegas went by himself to save Macau." Pete explained before hurriedly went to Khun Korn's office. Arm followed Pete, because he saw how anxious his friend was.

When he arrived at Khun Korn's office, he knocked first before he opened the door, "Khun Korn, help me." Pete said.

Korn looked at Pete and nodded as if he already know what's happening.

"Arm, ready the bodyguards. Make sure that you will bring enough firearms." Korn ordered his bodyguard.

"He already found Vegas, huh?" Korn muttered, "I hope he will not regret what he's doing.." Korn uttered.

"Khun Korn, I am with Khun Elisa. She's in the car." Pete announced.

Korn nodded, "Let's go. I want to talk to her." 

Pete bowed even though he was confused about what was Korn saying. When they went downstairs, they saw Elisa inside the mansion.

"Elisa." Korn called his sister-in-law.

"Korn." Elisa said with a bitterness in her voice.

"You come back too late. He already found Vegas. What are you going to do now?" Korn said.

Pete looked at them alternately, 'What they are talking about? Who's he?' Pete asked himself.

"You know why he's doing this right? He thought that you are already dead, that's why he's avenging to Kan's sons." Elisa looked away when she heard that.

Pete was interrupted, when his phone vibrated, indicating that there's a message.

When he get his phone, his forehead creased when it was from unknown number.

He opened it, it was a video and he was dumbfounded when he played the video, "V-vegas."

'Fuck you! Just kill me!'

Pete's heart crashed when he saw his lover, beaten to death.

"Khun Korn! K-khun Elisa... We need to h-hurry up..p-please.. V-vegas.."  Pete said and showed the video to the two.

"Vegas..." Elisa uttered, hurt to see the condition of his son.

"Let's go there, Elisa. " Korn looked at Pete, " Send the location to me, Pete." Pete immediately send  what Leo sent it to him. 

"Hurry up, Elisa. Before Red kill his own son..."
