" Chapter 4 - Tonight's Visitor "

That night was a nightmare..

After changing my clothes, mom called me from downstairs that we arw having some visitors.

It's rare to have visitors in the house..

I was combing my hair and when I came downstairs, I saw 3 people sitting on the couch talking to my parents.

"Mom, dad, who-- eh?!"

I dropped my brush when I saw a familiar raven-haired boy in front of me.

"Hello, you must be Athanasia," Lucas greeted at me  with a smile that says 'I'm just your neighbor'.

'Hello' your ass!!

What is he doing here?!

"Are you alright sweetie?" Mom asked, caressing my arm to comfort me.

"Eh.. Uhm.. I-I'm fine..." I stuttered.

"Athy, they are our new neighbors, I decided to welcome them!" Mom cheered.

Why did you decide things like that?!

I looked at the 2 persons beside Lucas. The man has a raven hair like him, but his eyes were black, the woman beside him has a beautiful silky silver hair and ruby eyes.

Must be his parents.. duh, Athy..

No wonder this jerk looked so good, even an angel can't compete with his looks.

"How about we make some dinner?" Mom asked, as I sat beside dad.

"That would be great, let me help you," Lucas' mom said.

"Eh, a-are you sure?" Mom asked.

"Yeah, it's fine!"

They both walked to the kitchen leaving us four alone.

This is kinda awkward....

Lucas' dad began to talk to dad, as if he's giving us some space, WHICH IS NOT HELPING!

"We meet again, neighbor," Lucas said with a teasing tone.

I glared at him and said, "Don't call me that, I have a name too, you know."

"You mean you four syllabic name... I'm just gonna call you neighbor," He scoffed, rolling his eyes.

I just imagined going to school with him calling me neighbor.

"That's why I don't talk to jerks like you," I muttered.

"Heard that."

"I know, jerk..."

He sighed and said, "I didn't really introduced myself very clearly so.."

I looked at him.

"I'm gonna say this again, I'm Lucas Eleanor, I'm 15 years old, nice to meet you Athanasia," He said holding out his hand, smiling at me.

I'm so speechless right now.

What are you doing?

I sighed and took his hand and said, "Athanasia Obelia, nice to meet you too.. Lucas..."

Suddenly flinched when our hands touched for a friendly shaks.

"I feel like I'm in danger.." He mumbled with a chuckle as if he misses this feeling.

"Huh?"

"I think someone is glaring daggers behind me.." He whispered.

I peeked behind him and flinched as I soon see the person who glared at Lucas from behind.

It was dad. I eyed at Lucas' father who just smiled innocently, why the flip is he smiling?!

Help your son!!

"It's your fault holding your hand up to me," I whispered back, as I let go of his hand.

"Then why did you accept it? Are you an idiot or something?" He retorts back.

"Dinner's ready!" Mom called.

Ah! The saviour is here.

The both of us sighed in relief.

Thanks mom!

The four of us walked to the dining room to eat dinner. After eating, we talked for a while, more like they. Then they went back home.

"I hate that kid.." Dad muttered.

I agree.

"You've been holding something dirty earlier, you should wash your hands," He said walking towards their bedroom.

I flinched. "O-okay..."

"Good morning, Athanasia!"

What the-

As I got out of the house, I saw Lucas waiting at the front gate.

"What are you doing here?!" I said, running up to him.

"Waiting for you, what else could I do here?" He said.

"Whatever! Let's go, dad might see you." I grabbed his hand and start to walk fastly.

"Hey! Slow down, neighbor!"

"I told you, don't call me that!!" I let go of his hand and yelled at him.

"What else should I call you?"

"Athy," I suggested.

He gave me a disgusted look and said, "Cringe..."

"Why are you so picky?!"

"I don't know, you should ask my parents," He said, sarcastically.

Why did I talk to you in the first place?

He snapped his fingers and said, "Imma call you Sia!"

"What?! No!"

"Saying that I'm picky, you should tell yourself that," He smirked and start to walk fast.

"I'm not picky!" I followed his pace.

"Yeah, yeah..."

"I told you, I'm not!"

"Okay, keep telling yourself that..."

I walk into my classroom and I found Helena and Cass' smug faces.

"W-what's up...?" I said uncomfortably.

"What's up your face!! YOU WALKED WITH LUCAS!!" Helena exclaimed, grabbing and shaking my face.

"Shou wat?!(So what?)" I tried to speak.

"Are you deaf?! It's Lucas!! LUCAS!!" Cass screamed, making my ears bled. Gosh, this girls.

"Wii jusht wooked togider, shtop skwishing mii!(We just walked together, stop squishing me!)"

Helena let go and asked, "What did you two talk about?!"

"N-nothing..." I lied.

"What do you mean nothing!" Cass stood up. "How can you two just walked together and said nothing?!"

"What am I gonna talk about? Were not that close," I huffed.

And I hate him to death!

"Wow Athy, wow... You had your chance and you didn't take it," Cass looked so dissapointed.

Well, how about you walk with him for 10 minutes while embarrassing you in public!!

"Ok class, take your seats!" The teacher walked in.

TIME SKIP

"That's all for today! Helena, collect the papers."

"Yes sir..." Helena sighed, "You guys go ahead, I'll catch up."

"Okay..."

We made our way towards to the cafeteria and ate out lunch, but Helena still hasn't come back until one hour just passed and the bell rang.

We were worried so we ran towards the classroom and saw Helena in a daze.

"Helena!" Cass called, running up to her.

"Where were you?" Agnis exclaimed.

"Helena, are you okay? We got you some food, because you didn't catch up with us," Jenny said worriedly.

Helena turned to us and gave us this creepy grin. "I'm full... Suuuuper full!" She said happily.

Are you drunk?

"What happened?" I asked, frowning.

Helena beamed, standing up and grabbed me by the shoulders, "I'M GLAD YOU ASKED!!!"

I wish I didn't..

"Eh?"

"You see, you see, I was walking towards the teachers faculty, and then a miracle happened!!" She explained.

"W-what happened?" Jenny asked.

"I BUMPED INTO LUCAS!!" She happily exclaimed.

Then?

We got worried of you and here you are, squealing!!

"Oohh!!! Then, then?!" Cass said, interested.

Here we go again...

"The papers flew, which is very annoying!! But he helped me and apologized for bumping to me... And he also helped me returning the papers to the faculty!!" Helena squealed.

Jenny and I took a step back and sighed, shaking our heads in disappointment.

They never ever changed...

This jerk knows how to act. That guy is not an angel, he's a devil!!

"Quiet!! And take your seats girls!!" The teacher yelled at us.

"Y-yes ma'am...."
