Chapter 10: His Hipocrisy

00:46, 2 June 2023

Saturday came by and Deku's finals of his first semester were nearing. All this time it was the end of November, but now December was approaching. The cold weather was a reminder for him and his mother to arrange their clothes and purchase warm jackets. Despite the freezing temperatures, Deku only wore two layers of clothing, a shirt and a jacket, along with long pants. He valued his comfort rather than his state. Two days ago was the intrusion of Bakugo. He had stolen Deku's pills in the end and unblocked himself on his phone. He then threatened him if he were ever to do it again, the same things would occur. Luckily, Deku hid a few pills that stood under the couch.

The next day Deku normally went to school. Many people shoved their shoulders against his in a rude attitude and that pigtailed girl continued to visit him. Also, hadn't seen Kacchan at all. Something new that had occurred, however, was that the principal had informed Deku's mother about their relationship. First of all, she was comprehensive in the start, considering how she thought it decently related to his disorder. But then, as she was informed more thoroughly about the situations that happened barely two weeks ago, her colors drained. She had become shocked and purely depressed for her own son.

Thinking everything he had gone through and the fact that he stayed silent. Thinking that her son wasn't who she visualized just seconds before she was told. That he hid it, was all that she worried about. That day after school, Deku's appointment was canceled and instead his mother picked him up in her car. Some kids, who remained outside, snorted as the green-haired entered the vehicle. Deku tried to ignore it, but remained confused as to why his mother was there. It was something important, he knew. She wouldn't have taken her day off as well if it were for something trivial.

Once home, his mother told him that they needed to talk. Deku trembled even more. It was something unusual for his mother to say. He never got scolded or never had a serious talk. He had his ears opened, prepared to what she had to say. They sat in the dinning room table and she began. She mentioned what she had been told. There was plenty, but fortunately, what nobody knew was what exactly they did; what were the extensions. Inko mentioned the photos, his sexuality, their intimated relationships, the frequency, and the fact that everyone knew.

Ashamed of his own life, Deku kept his stare below, looking at his thighs and tearing up as well. He felt disgusting. His mother found out, and despite not knowing everything, he felt like he was declared as a criminal. Along with that, his mother said that the principal would expel him if it resumed, at least in the school. Not knowing what to side with, she voiced her honest thoughts.

"I want you to be happy, but I know that this happiness is forced by your condition. Don't be fooled, Izuku. Follow what you really want. Right now, all I have to say is that is too much for me to give in...it's too much...I didn't expect this..."

Sobbing, with the back of her hands she cleared her tears, setting a sad whimpered-mouth. Deku felt and looked the same, embarrased as a student and ashamed as a son. What else could he feel as a civilian? Bakugo had washed his mind, but it's not like Deku disagreed to it. That's what he hated. Everything was because of him, his stupid disorder; something so useless.

Although, no matter how much he was used by Bakugo, how much he was taunted, how he felt even worthless, he felt grateful from the fact that he got closer to Kacchan and unfortunately, plans on doing so further.

Everything has its advantages and disadvantages. On this terrible case, only Deku could find the good in it. Maybe it was his disorder, but in his normal state, he only sensed happiness when thinking of Kacchan. Then, once turning into the desperate version, his mentality remains, but his body is unable to react adequately. His mind spins around, his nervous system unbalances, and is completely uncapable of controlling himself.

Right now, on a chilly Saturday morning, Deku decided to take a walk to relieve all stress. His phone was taken away just for the weekends, considering to not contact Kacchan. On the week it was necessary so he could text his mother or check in with his doctor. But from now on, his mother had said that she would be picking him after work. She had talked to her manager to change her schedule, and now she has to wake up earlier to match up the same hours.

Deku felt guilty, but there's nothing he could do. Many things have happened, and he thought that if his mother would have been there, maybe nothing bad would've ever happened.

Calmly walking, looking on the sidewalk floor, Deku headed to a long path directed to the park. The sun raged but was masked by the freezy-windy air. He had a tiny backpack behind and inside were his five lasting pills, his fifth grade notebook, pencil, and a string of cheese. While walking, he conciously reflected on his life and mainly the recent events. Hating on the fact that he was played by Kacchan again had become usual.

Not only that, but the hypocrisy that Kacchan had passed on to Deku also lingered. Strangely mesmerizing his touch and his hums as he was brought down by him. Deku couldn't believe it but, oh well. He is unbelievable.

Deku finally turned to the corner as he headed closer to the park. It was filled with seemingly-extravangant trees that covered most of the view of the sky. The entrance was clear and free to pass, only bushes at the side for decoration. The grass was hairy and soft. The sky free of a freezing rain but replaced by a decent wind. Deku hadn't come here for quite a while.

Gazing at the big logs and at the tiny birds on the floor, he sat on the bench in which was in infront of a big log and underneath its shadows. It felt slightly warmer there, only his face was slapped by the rigorous, cold wind.

The light-blue scarf that was wrapped around his neck got loose for a bit. Yesterday, Deku was put in a position in which he also had to show his mother his marks. And, unfortunately, he had gained a few more the day before, when Kacchan broke into his apartment. When pulling aside his shirt, exposing the view of his collar bone and his shoulders, his mother gasped as she sunk into a dreadful expression. Deku refused to look at her eyes, feeling brought down by the feelings that were mentioned previously. Could it have gone any worse?

Young kids and middle schoolers from his age played around in that park. Chilling slides, futile fountains, and a slippery floor. Deku sat far-distanced from their parents and the children themselves. He couldn't help but compare himself to them. So innocent, so unaware; qualities that seemed disadvantageous but are what shapes a world free from worries.

He regrets everything. But never in a million years he would regret being friends with Kacchan. Thinking about the name, Deku closed his eyes and switched the topic before diving deeper into the concept. Learning to control himself was a slow and tedious task. He couldn't and there was no point on trying.

Thinking about what happened two days ago, the green-haired remembered those two boys. He feared seeing them again, to say the least. They could try and do anything again, but next time, how would it be different? Anyhow, Deku wished for it to never happen again and he promised to defend himself. Whenever he thought about it, he was inhaled by a depressive storm, realizing that he had no friends to be there for him.

Deku's vision noticed a form from the entrance of the park entering. And, paying little attention to it, he recognized that familiar-spiky hair. 'No...that can't be! Why is he here?' Panicking already, he got a glimpse of his shoes and he was certain. Quickly, he grabbed his backpack and took out two pills. Turning his head for them to not see, he swallowed them with the hidden fact that they struggled.

"Hey, nerd" A dried and distant voice said in front of him. Deku barely turned his head until he zipped his bag, shivering. Once looking up, Kacchan was there with his large-leathered jacket and with boots, hiding his hands. "Ka...cchan?" Below, a startled green-haired called. What was he doing here? How did he know? Was it a coincidence?

The blond, without a concern, sat beside Deku as if nothing bad lied within him. Rather, it was an unbothered expression and a calm attitude. It was something so unexpected that it gave Deku chills.

"What are you doing here?" He asked while paying attention to the green-haired at the right, who was gazed by his behavior. Deku went back to realization and blinked his eyes numerously. "Nothing...j-just having a rest..." He lowly replied as his face went back, not having eye-contact unlike the other. Bakugo analyzed his face and was aware that it was not red because of his condition but because of the temperature. He drew his body nearer to his. Deku gulped.

"Kacchan, how did you know I was-" "Why are you so sad?" The blond-haired interrupted his doubt by instead returning another one. Deku hesitated as he was shut and glared at. Wondering whether he should say it, he aparted his face. Then, for a few seconds, he started.

"Yesterday...my mother found out" Reluctantly, Deku whispered, worsening his gloomy face. Bakugo's expression drastically changed. His faked calm one dissolved. "What?!" Oddly relieving, his hostile reaction came back. "Didn't they call yours, too? T-the principal, he told my mother only what he knew..." Remaining his stare at the floor, Deku knoted his fingers together. Bakugo was confused but had a thought lingering. He turned his head away from Deku and looked at the park.

"They didn't call mine, I guess the principal prioritized me or I was an exception..." The green-haired courageously faced him with bewilderment. 'How could he?! It just seems as if they were treating Kacchan as the victim. As if I ruined his image and I'm the one at fault. But...but...' Deku made a frown that was about to cry, however he held his tears. 'But it's true...'

"Even if aunt knows..." He trailed off to make his point clear, concerned on one pointless thing that bothered his mind. Deku followed along and payed attention. "We won't stop." Fearing his statement, Deku was about to question, however, he had to turn his face away. The green-haired secretly unzipped his backpack, using his back to block Kacchan's permission to see. He placed one more pill in his mouth and did the zipper again. Kacchan watched carefully and quietly, knowing what was up.

"S-sorry" Deku placed his backpack on the floor and looked back at him. "I still don't understand, why would you want to continue? Wouldn't it be less bothersome if you leave me be?" Shyly, he yet again asked the same stupid question that irritated the blond. Just as expected, the other dangerously stared at the green-haired and as a response he panicked. "W-wait! But what I mean is, if it really is a bother to you, like you said, you could just leave me alone and don't put yourself in more trouble. Honestly Kacchan, I'm happy I at least got closer to you. But if you don't feel the same way you-"

"Aghh! For God's sake, can't you shut your fucking mouth? You're always muttering useless shit!" The blond sighed frustrated and layed his elbows on his knees. He closed his eyes and continued. "I get to do whatever the hell I want. The reasons, I don't have to tell you. Just listen to what I say!"

"But what about me? What if it bothers me?" Anxiously, Deku wondered as he clenched his fingers. Bakugo remained his position but deepened his voice. "Then just bare with it. How bad can I be?" Deku shivered as he nodded with opinions against him. "Anyways, Deku. Why didn't I saw you after school yesterday? And why didn't you answer my texts?" Bakugo vilely asked as he layed his back against the bench.

"O-oh! That..." Deku avoided his stare and kept it to visualize the kids, while gathering his thoughts. "Like I said, my mother knows, so I got grounded shortly. She took my phone away and now she insists on picking me up after school..." Bakugo felt as if he had lost his control and he was slowly losing his grip. Disappointed and troubled, Bakugo asked it was going to be everyday. Deku agreed and the other groaned in vexation. The green-haired kept a look at his sudden distress. The blond had his index and thumb finger placed under his chin, thinking.

'Shit. What a nuisance. Now Deku's bitchy mother, the principal, his doctor, and the extras at school. Why does everyone have to be so goddamn annoying...' Bakugo criticized rather than questioning for answers. 'What should I do...' He kept his head laying on the top of the backrest. "Deku, can you come to my house today?"

Taking the green-haired out of surprise, he gave a blunt and an angry response. "Wha- Kacchan! You want to do it again? If we get caught I-" Deku stopped, looking at nothingness while aparting his vision. "I could get into even more trouble! And didn't I tell you? I want to try to stay away from you!" The green-haired argued as the other rarely paid consideration to his words. Bakugo sighed deeply and his eyes were shut still.

Deku parted his body and looked at the other side with his arms crossing, mad. He couldn't believe that Kacchan was only looking after him for that. Even though it was obvious, Deku wished for it to not be true. "What time is it?" Bakugo mumbled to himself while he took out his phone. He checked the home screen and it was currently 10AM. "Ah, it's ten. I gotta go. If you change your mind, just know that you can come to my house any time."

Deku shared his hidden glare as the blond stood up from the cold-wooden seat. Taken by surprise, the green haired also stood up from his spot and clenched onto his sleeve.

"Wait! Where are you going?" He questioned Bakugo's early moves. He had just come and unreasonably decided to leave already. Since Deku didn't have any other plans or events on his mind, he couldn't help but feel alone when Bakugo marched. He turned around and his hands went back to his pockets. "I'm leaving. Where? It doesn't matter. Only talk to me if you'll come to my house."

"But..." Frightened to say the words stuck in his throat, Deku briefly continued. "Last time you said you won't do anything to do with me..." He struggled to assert as Bakugo plainly stood and stared below him with loathe. Feeling offended for some reason and feeling misleaded. Deku looked at the ground as he shook from nervousness.

Bakugo raised his head and grunted out of anger while gripping his fingers. "Motherfucker, I told you to only listen to what I say. If you don't want to come to my house then simply don't come. Stop fucking giving me questions, imbecile." The blond boy contained his eagerness to punch the other, but hesitated when adults were nearby. Before turning again, he kept his eyes locked with Deku's and then turned.

Deku bravely remained standing, no longer looking at the blond-haired pleasantly but with indifference. Based on what he saw, Bakugo's eyes were filled with, apart from rage and ignorance, something even more distant. Something likely compatible with a malicious commitment.

"And you just did it again..." The green-haired scoffed beneath his breath from dissapointment. Hah! He had always imagined being great friends with Kacchan despite the rough spots they've been. What was he thinking? No, he wasn't thinking. All this time he had been under the spell of an unintended love potion. However, even if it were unintended, it turned out to be exploited.

Nah, he was being stupid. The rest was unintentionally but so on he was simply being a truthful idiotic. Friends? Friends after those intimate things they did? Deku was slightly closed in his mind and isolated from logical interpretation. He yet hadn't fully noticed that everything was something more or less than a friendship. But there was no reason to anticipate. Deku's innocence was yet to be conquered some day it will be infected.

Silence crept into the scene and Bakugo headed towards the exit. He drifted away from his form until Deku could no longer see him, the freezing sky covering his vision from the large distance.

---

Walking down the sidewalk, expecting to go home and ask his mother for new pills with shame. Even if he should've asked for them sooner, Deku underestimated his use of pills. He thought he wasn't going to need them because he had practiced mantaining himself. Little did he know, there weren't much left and he proved himself wrong.

Out of nowhere, an explosion bursted on his way home, in front of his face, a convenience store blew along with the ignition of smoking flames. An enormous, chunky figure with brown fur dashed out of the doors with a large, full bag. People screaming and running both inside and outside yelped for a hero to come. Deku shivered out of fear and a sensation of helping them. He was completely shocked and couldn't move.

"Hey, you kid! Get out of there! You won't be able to breathe if you're close to the smoke!" A middle-aged clerk man yelled as he pointed at Deku. The green-haired sadly considered his wordings since he already started sweating excessively from the heat. "I'm sure a hero will be here soon!" A mother of one son yelled at the distressed shop owner at the other side of the sidewalk.

Deku turned to the next sidewalk, unbothered, because his home was located in that direction. However, he felt sick for some reason. Something bothered him and he couldn't put it into words. As he headed to his street, Deku couldn't walk any farther as his apartment was on fire. The building was on fire! Likewise the other combustion he saw, fire blew from the shattered windows and lots of people ran desperately from the entrance. The green-haired was stumbled with fear and worry.

"E-excuse me! What happened in here?!" Deku loudly asked a startled, young man at his side. Loud so he can hear and for it to battle the smoke and the noise. "H-hey, kid. I'm not really sure but it is probably a villain's doing. Don't worry much, the police and the fire department will come and everybody is takened out to safety." The naive high-schooler reassured the green-haired. Deku nodded in response but felt anxious.

'If everyone is being taken out, where's my mom? Also, if this wasn't such a big deal, why is everybody screaming for their lives? Is the villain still inside?' Murmuring and murmuring, Deku eternally wondered as he shook. He felt some sort of stubborness inside of him, as if he wanted to sprint inside. Suddenly, another explosion blew from the main hall. Everybody who were outside, watching the explosion, screamed in unison. The green-haired trembled as he took out his phone.

"Hey, you! Don't record this!" A formal employee warned him at his side. Deku squeeled from his scary response. "Sorry! I-I am just going to call my mom," he said back. He was so afraid that he couldn't help but apologize for nothing.

After pressing her contact and dialing her number, the green-haired placed his phone near his ear. His eyes stung from the smoke and the heat made his eyes water. A minute passed and the call was cut off. It wasn't denied, but rather wasn't picked. Deku refused to believe that his mother was still inside. Possibly injured; possibly dead. He helplessly placed his hands on his mouth and started crying.

"Hah..they're! They're still people inside!" A woman ran out pacing, she seemed as if she tried to inspect the place for any survivors. All her face had burned marks.

Deku's capability to hear slightly faded. Everything seemed blurry, including his vision. He lowered down and crouched while, frustrated, he mantained his palms. An endless stream of tears he originated and provoked a broken heart that won't ever be healed the same. The crowd stepped on him, unknown of the kid below them. The police and the firefighters came in the scene. Reporters also tagged along to report the incident. Nobody cared, nobody knew.

The area was occupied by a number of vechiles, vans, trucks, police cars, and even pointless spectators. Others came to hopefully rest in their homes to find it being destroyed. Others simply walked by to watch the entertainment. Deku didn't notice, of course, since he was facing the building. But Mitsuki arrived a few feet away from his distance. He was camouflaged, and she urged to look for him. She had watched only the beginning of the news, and right there she didn't hesitate to help the Midoriya's.

Chatter, screams, cryings of agony, frightened people; all of them were there being a part of their role. Mitsuki jostled in-between them and called out for Izuku's name.

"Izuku!" She yelled. "Where are you, Izuku?!"

Deku didn't hear and he couldn't hear. He was being abstracted by a prodigious storm of depression. He felt or knew that his mother was in the worst possible condition. He couldn't do anything, and that was the worst part. Mitsuki was already in the middle of that ant village, and she noticed a gap in front of her. When she looked down she saw the green-haired boy crouching and having a breakdown. She, as well, kneeled and took him to her arms, giving him the hug he needed. Deku gasped as he aparted his palms.

Looking behind him, he noticed Mitsuki's hair and obviously her hold. She was sharing the same lamentable feeling by crying.

"Mitsuki?" With a low voice, he was shocked to find her here, providing him with supportable sense of safety and reassurance. The police and the firefighters finally knocked off people, telling them to back away for them to step in the scene. The crowd eventually dissasembled and Mitsuki placed her arm around Deku's shoulders, guiding him to her vechile.

Once the minivan was able to be seen, there was Bakugo laying on the door with his arms crossed. He had his usual blank expression, staring at the fire. But when he saw Deku and his mother, he got off and went up to them.

"I saw the news at 11:034AM, but the reporter claimed that the fire sparked around 10:40PM. When I saw that, I quickly got my keys and waited for Katsuki to come home." She spoke between her sobbing. She let go Deku and they both desperately watched the building. Why would something like this happen? And how? He felt weak but clinged into his belief that his mother was okay. She had to! There was no reason for her to die or for her life to be terminated without a purpose. He just wanted to believe she was alive.

Another explosion blasted from the entrance. Anyone who was inside would surely be toasted with no trace or a be a dead soul. Deku bursted crying even more, he turned around and without thinking he embraced Kacchan's chest. Bakugo looked down, not expecting that, and reluctantly clasped his arms around his waist. His stare remained in the fire, like some sort of careless viewer, and he let Deku give in his mourns.

---

Fidgeting on the wooden table with finger tips, Mitsuki attempted to make several calls to the police department. She had her leg on top of the other, one elbow on the corner of the dinning table, and a phone of her hand. Bakugo and Deku both were sitting on one of the chairs. They sat aside each other with their face looking down. Avoiding contact, they had their fingers tangled. They had an expression as if they were scolded, but in reality, Mitsuki was trying to see where Izuku would stay to live.

His relatives were not even close to the area, most were out of the country or hard to reach. There was literally no one that could help him, sadly. Loosing his mother was more than just a burden, it was the strongest sense of despair. And to add up to that, if he ever disappeared, the police wouldn't even notice.

"Katsuki, can you guide Izuku to the bathroom so he could take a shower? Also, give him spare clothes of yours." Mitsuki said after sighing and lowering the phone. Bakugo slowly turned his head up with dark eyes. Then, he looked at Deku, in which refused eye-contact, but obviously seemed nervous. With no words, the blond-haired stood up from his seat and placed his hands in his pockets.

"Come on," he ordered the smaller statue and lightly pushed Deku's shoulder with his fist. Mitsuki glared at him for his disrespectful action. Once Bakugo started walking away from the room, the green-haired stood up trembling as if he had just seen a ghost. He trailed Kacchan, gazing at his soft hair and timidly looking at his back.

Upstairs they went, and Deku held an obnoxious feeling in his stomach. 'No way. Not again.' It was as if it ached his insides, and unpermited him to move. Bakugo looked behind and scoffed. He then clenched onto Deku's hood and brought him forward. "Uuawh!" The frightened green-haired blurted. Kacchan pulled him in front, bringing him inside the bathroom and closed the door.

"Take off your clothes," Bakugo plainly said. Deku widened his eyes and panicked. He shook and thought about Mitsuki. Bakugo sighed in frustration. "Come on, it's not like it's the first time I'll see you naked," reasonably, he assured, but didn't neccessarily fix things. Only looking at the floor and using his arms as shields, Deku blushed. "Seriously? You can't even take off your clothes, nerd?" The blond-haired jerkly mocked.

"I-I can take them off...but you don't need to be here with me." Deku spat out his uncomfortable position, in which Bakugo looked with indifference. "Well, I do; I need to be here so I could take your clothes and wash them."

"Then, why can't you wait outside?" Getting a bit more worried, Deku replied. "To make it quick, but guess I was wrong. You always ruin things," cockily, Bakugo insulted. Deku got mad in some sort of confidential or daring way. He quickly took off his jacket and pulled it up. Then, without hesitating, he took off his plain shirt. The air gave him chills throughout his chest. Bakugo watched and waited.

"Give me that. And now the pants," he commanded. Deku shivered but tried to be brave. However, when his hands reached the zipper, they froze and shook in that place. He gritted his teeth from anxiety while remained his stare on the floor. Seconds after, a punch that was striked against the wall next to Deku blasted through his hearing chords. The boy jumped from the impact.

"You fucking cunt, stop wasting my time! You want me to take them off for you?" Bakugo lowly yelled for his mother to not hear. Deku shamely didn't raise his head, but thought repeatively. 'No, No! Not here! Not in this place! Not now in this situation!'

"Yes!" Oddly, the green-haired shouted, but when realizing, he slammed his palms on his mouth. "I-I mean, no! Stop pre-pressuring me!" Already done with the little one's shit, the blond-haired sighed again, looking away.

"Whatever, just hurry up" He said while holding the stack of clothing and a hand in his pocket. Deku nodded and slowly began to unzip his pants. Unaware, he screeched in a low tone, similar to a whimper. Bakugo heard it and he snickered. Ashamed as mentioned before, the green-haired handed the other one his pants. They took it with a smirk and a sigh of relief. Deku was left with his boxers.

"Uhmmm, can't you wait outside for this?" Trying to find a way to avoid getting seen, the green-haired attempted to ask. "No," blankly, Bakugo said back. Another sigh from Deku was heared. At least it was almost over, but the pressure still lingered. There was no point of shaming or waiting, so Deku simply took it off. He lowered his back as he did so, so when he held them, he would hide his lower part. His legs trembled, but either way gave the last clothing to Kacchan.

"Tsk, coward..." Bakugo chuckled as he exited the bathroom. "Don't lock the door,"  he said and closed it behind him. Deku was left without words in plain silence. He felt relaxed but not at peace.

"What about the towel?"
