I'm running, running like I have been at it since the beginning of time. My legs reach farther than they have ever reached before, my heart beat is fast, my breathing is heavy and shallow. My long, soaking wet hair swishes side to side, my sword belt becomes so loose from the excessive jumping that I have to hold my swords sheath. Frigid sweat beads down my brow and mixes with the raindrops that pelt onto me as I maneuver around all flora that is in my way. My wings were tucking behind me, ready to be my escape at my bidding.
I skid to a stop when I reach to a cliff that is extremely deep. I look over the edge and try to make out the ground, since it is raining harshly I can barely see the ground beneath me. "Damn." I curse, I am not supposed to use my wings for flight, so instead I spread them open to make the force easier on me. I land into a roll, then jump back up to a sprint.
I scream when a lightening bolt stiles right next to me, that means he is close. I push myself to run faster but it is no use. Thor comes flying over me, the thunder booming loudly from his arrival. He lands a few feet in front of my breathless self, causing me to stop and fall backwards in shock.
He stands before me, the rain that was pouring down made our hair soppy and in his face, making him appear more dangerous. His darken over blue eyes glare daggers, slowly but surely he stalks towards me. In reaction I open my wings and flap upwards, but he grabs my ankle just as I am about to make my escape. He pulls me down and throws my back onto the grass bed, causing my wings to shatter.
Thor growls lowly and stalks towards my frozen-in-shock body. I yelp when thunder strikes next to me, causing me to jump to the side. When I turn my attention back to him, he is standing over me, feet on each side of my hips, and then he falls to his knees. He sits onto my stomach and suddenly, his hands tightly grab my wrists. He forces my arms above my head with such strength that I wince.
He bends over, his face close to mine, I can feel his breathing on my neck that causes me to shiver. It is extremely warm considering we are both drenched in freezing rain, thanks to Thor.
"Tag, you're it." He grumbles.
"Ugh why do you have to be so dramatic?!" I laugh, the rain immediately ceasing because he laughs with me. He lays upon my body, his face shoved between my neck, his lips tickling along my skin. I squeal when he blew at my neck, the tickling sensation made me bunch up. "Doooon't tickle me!"
"Too late!" Thor declares, his large hands already dancing across my sides, causing my hips to buck and laughter echoing from us. I clench my eyes shut and twist side to side, trying to throw him off of me. He is absolutely ruthless when it comes to tickling.
After he finishes his little session of pure horrible torture, he is still on top of me, his hands on both sides of my face. His thumbs pressing on each side of my lips. "You're so beautiful." Thor says as his bright optics look over my features. "So, so beautiful."
"And you're gorgeous." I compliment him back.
Thor frowns from my words, almost like if he took that as teasing. "Men cannot be gorgeous." He states.
"Like how men cannot be tickled?" I say, referring back to the time when I attended that dreadful gala. He closes his eyes and dryly chuckles, usually that means he reminiscing about a moment in the past that was funny.
"Still cannot believe you were Esmeralda." Thor admits while turning over and landing next to me. We both lay next to each other, facing one another, forming an O shape. "No wonder why she looked so much like you. Except you are even more beautiful than her."
"Makes sense," I say, reaching out and holding his giant hand in mine, just touching him makes me feel more warmer than before. "I have grown. In fact, we both have. Especially you, you were so stubborn."
Thor smiles again, that adorable wide smile that causes his cheeks to cover his eyes can make any woman swoon for him. After, we lay there in the moist grass, my green tunic already dampening on one side. Since we are both completely silent, I can hear the wind blowing gently. I soon notice that sun high in the sky, brightens Thor up even more. His dusty gold hair is almost blinding, his tanzanite blue eyes seemingly glowing. The definition of God is probably just his name, he lives up to the title.
"Have I ever mentioned that you are beautiful." I suddenly speak up, causing Thor to snap out of his day dreaming. He stares at me with a small smile, the type of smile that I get when I do call him beautiful.
"Many times." Thor says, sitting up. "Have I ever mentioned that I love you?"
I smirk giddily. "Yes, you have." I reply as I sit up with him.
"I can never say it enough." Thor tells me. He cups his large hand over my cheek and I press into the warmth. Thor comes closer until his right arm is touching my left. We stare into each other's eyes, the ice blue does not send chills of coldness, I feel love instead.
"Do you ever see us having a future together?" Thor asks, glancing to my left eye. I breathe in and out heavily, causing him to pull away. "You do not have to tell me if you do not want to."
"No, it is fine." I reassure. "Yes, I do. But I can barely see most things." I inform him in which he cocks his head to the right.
"What can you see?" He genuinely wonders.
I sit back and look to the sky, watching the birds flutter and the butterflies gliding gracefully. "We are happy, in love of course." I tell Thor, who is intently listening. "Sometimes everything is so bright, and I sometimes feel safe."
Thor shifts his eyebrows unevenly. "What do you mean sometimes?"
"Well," I start in a unsure manner. "You leave that to me."
He groans and plops back into the grass. "I want to know what happens, you always say that." I giggle at his pouting and snuggle onto his chest as he wraps one arm around me. Thor does not bother to look at me and he seems irritated, which is super cute.
"Because the bad things that happen are all on me." I tell him while rubbing my hand up his chest, then reach to his jaw and hair. "The destiny I see for me is only for me."
Thor heaves a deep sigh, then sits up again. "How well can you see into the near future?" He ponders out of no where.
"Not that well." I say. "But I just saw myself going back to Midgard through the Rainbow Bridge. So that means the Bridge will be fixed."
"I want you to try to see your near future." Thor demands me to do. So I listen and close my eyes, concentrating and draining out the sound around me. The black void before me sparks and I see a pure white flower bracelet, typically used like a Midgardian wedding ring.
After the bracelet disappears, the sound comes flooding back and I pull myself out of the void. I open my eyes and gasp in a breath of fresh air, breathing in the breathable musty black ink always makes me feel funny.
"I see a flower bracelet." I tell him. "Someone is going to marry. Someone I know." I then gasp once more, holding my hands to my mouth. "I think Arion and Levana are going to be wed!"
A laugh rumbles within Thor. "No, I do not believe so."
"Then who," I ask mockingly. "Can you see into the future too?"
"No, I sadly cannot. But I know what is going to happen next." Thor says while reaching next to him like if he is grabbing something. I try to see what he is reaching for but he does not let me do so. "Delia, I love you, I truly do. I have cared so much about you ever since we first met. Hundreds of years ago, I thought I had met the most extraordinary girl in all the nine realms."
I smile widely. "Where are you getting to, Lover Boy?" I attempt once more to see what he is doing, but he keeps his hand away from my eyes. Although it is annoying, it surely is exciting, he must have something of uber importance to keep away from me.
"I am saying that whatever destiny we have, what trouble we may run into, I love you. So, so much." Thor leans forward, close enough to where our noses are touching. He keeps my attention away by being this close and honestly, it is working.
I feel Thor pull my hand up, and he secretly slips something through my hand. I pull away and look down, my eyes widening when I find a flower bracelet wrapped around my lithe wrist. I look back to him and the flower, not sure if he is jesting or not, but he stays smiling and serious.
"May I have the honour to travel down our entwined paths together," Thor begins.
"Thor." I wheeze.
"May I have the honour to kiss every inch of your perfect body," he continues.
I close my eyes and shake my head, trying to wake myself up. Maybe this is a dream or maybe I am looking into the future. This might even be a hallucination, and it does not feel like it is. This is real life, this is actually happening.
"May I have the honour to fight by your side for all of eternity, even in Valhalla," Thor says, keeping a strong grip on my shaking hands. "Delia Terandottir, my beautiful goddess,"
"Oh my gods," I whisper while holding my other hand to my chest. This is way too much for my poor heart.
"Will I have the honour of marrying you?"
