"Okay guys no practice tomorrow since the gyms are going through an inspection. So rest up okay?" Takeda states.

"tck, I knew you guys weren't gonna go home." you state to the two boys setting up in the gym

"Oh, well yea," Hinata admits. "Do you think you can throwing a couple balls before you go home y/n-senpai?"

"Hmm, I guess I could, only if you give me a toss first Kageyama." you say while taking off your bag.

"I guess I could" he replies.

"Great! Just give me a high toss and it should be ok." you added while getting ready at just passed the attack line.

"Ready?" He questions.

"Go for it," you exclaim while you see the toss go up, you expertly run and jump. Seeing the peak you slam the ball down in a nice line shot.

"Wow that was a great hit y/n-senpai!" Hinata cheered.

"Thanks Hinata, and drop the senpai would you." you grinned. "Now let's get started shall we?" which they reply with a nod.

As you throw high tosses to Kageyama you notice that Hinata keeps missing since he has his eyes trained on the ball.

"One more!" Hinata asks. With that request the two first years start fighting and Hinata is thrown on the floor.

"Come guys, cut it out!" You yell, but no use. Hinata gets up and runs to try and tackle Kageyama.

"Hey boys, stop with that shit!" You yell again, just to land in deaf ears. Fine I'll just grab Tanaka.

"Hey both of you guys! Stop it!" Tanaka yells running towards the two first years.

As you go to leave the gym, you leave the two first years with words of advice per say.

"You two better straighten your shit out." you huffed. "we can't have this going into interhigh or you'll be sitting on the sidelines, the both of you got it. See you tomorrow, don't stay up to late tonight." you finished as you walked out the door and towards your house.

As you get home you throw your bag onto the living room floor. Not bothering to bring it to your room, since it's just you here. Your parents are in Tokyo doing business. They are never usually home so they decided you being out in more of the countryside would be better than a big city all alone.

"Ugh what am I to do now?" you groan in frustration. Trying to think of ways for Kageyama and Hinata to stop fighting. "gah that's a worry for tomorrow I guess."

With that you left your house with just leggings, a volleyball t-shirt and your keys, completely forgetting about a hoodie.

𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧

y/n was almost at the meeting spot. her stomach overcome with butterflies. Just then she saw the infamous captain who has been texting her non stop. Wearing grey sweatpants (😏) and a white shirt under a black hoodie. When he is finally done looking y/n up and down, he makes his way over.

"Hey captain," y/n blushed.

"Little one," he breathed as he pulled her into a slow kiss. His hands on her waist and her hands behind his neck. A slow but sensual kiss shared between the two on a empty street under a street lamp. Upon pulling apart the elders hands staying glued to the youngers waist both breathing hard the younger looked up to the olive haired captain who already had his eyes trained to hers.

"so," she gave him a peck "we need," another peck. "to talk," giving the captain one last peck, but didn't move out of their current stance.

"yea i guess we do," he said. His deep voice reaching y/n core. "let's walk," with that they reluctantly pulled away from each other and started to walk their usual jogging route. Their hands every so often brushing against the others.

"so.." y/n started, unsure of what to say.

"I like you l/n, if that wasn't abundantly clear." the taller one said finally.

"Well you did leave me the other day after making me very bothered and confused so not really," the long (h/c) girl replied.

"I know. I'm sorry for that. I never meant to just leave you, I just was also confused myself and on why I kissed you. But now I see. At that moment I was sad that you said you weren't gonna jog with me anymore," Ushijima started. y/n turning her head to look at him a little more while they were walking. "I was also wanting to make sure that you thought of me the whole time you were in Tokyo surrounded by a bunch of boys. That would give me the time to straighten out my feelings towards you without you moving on. I'm sorry for that." He concluded.

"Well I did think of you that's for sure," the (h/c) girl chuckled before gaining the courage to tell the elder how she felt. "I like you too ushi-" with those words Ushijima grabbed y/n's hand and spun her around to face him.

"Wakatoshi" He said.

𝐰. 𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐣𝐢𝐦𝐚

"I like you too, wakatoshi." she said. Those words quickly engraved themselves into my head. Making me fall for this girl a little more. It also made me smile, just a tiny bit. So I kissed her again, just a sweet peck to show my happiness. As we pulled away I saw her smiling up at me, gosh her smile is really pretty. We continued to walk in silence her hand holding onto my pinky.

⎯⎯⎯⎯ 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 

"So wakatoshi, uh what are we now?" she asks.

"So wakatoshi, uh what are we now?" I ask. We had stopped once again as he looked at me.

"Well what do you want?" he asked.

"Well, uh there is no ignoring the fact that we don't know each other that well, and we both don't have a lot of time between volleyball and school, so uh how about we be exclusive, like a thing i guess, not labeled but together nontheless. And we can revisit our label after interhigh," I concluded, nervous for what he'll say now.

"Hmm, I like that idea." he said and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

"Great," You said, and shivered as a gust of wind blew by us as we started to walk again. He noticed and started to take off his hoodie, his shirt slightly pulled up as he was doing so, damn is that an eight pack?

"Here, you're cold." he said giving me his hoodie.

"Thanks," You replied as you put on his hoodie, which fell past your butt even though you was quite tall.

"Cute," he admitted.

"Shut up Ushi," you chuckle as you lightly punch him in the shoulder. With that you continue you walk.

As you're walk concluded Ushijima suggested he walk you home, to which you turned down since you didn't live far and he needed to get up early.

"Fine I won't walk you home, but text me when you get there yea?" he urged.

"Of course ushi," you reply "Do you want your hoodie back?" you question secretly hoping he doesn't.

"You can keep it under one condition," he states.

"And what is that?"

"A kiss goodnight." with that you put your arms behind his head and give him a long kiss under the stars.

"Goodnight Wakatoshi," you say as you start to walk away.

"Goodnight little one," He replies as he turns to walk home.
