Chapter 2: Cassie

     Waking up all the events of last night flood my mind. We had this huge food fight and passed out later in the night. I was sleeping on the same couch as Cassie and Maxxie, I don't know how we made it work but we did. Cassie was also just waking up, looking on the floor she grabbed a pot of porridge examining it, then wiping her hand that was dipped in it on the blanket. She noticed I was awake and greeted me "Good morning Xandria" she says "Morning Cassie" I reply with a light smile. "How did we manage for all three of us to sleep on here?" I ask now noticing that Maxxie had his arms on my waist and his head was in my hair. Cassie shrugged and started to get up. I did the same, slowly lifting Maxxie's arm off my body I got out of the blanket noticing I was just in my underwear and my sweats and top where on the floor. I saw Cassie start to put her dress from yesterday on and I did the same putting my sweats and tank top on.

Cassie walked over to Chris and looked at him, he had the words "I like boys" on his back and an arrow pointing to his arse. I looked over and cocked my head to the side smiling softly at his snores and the words written on him. He turned around and we could see his dick although he didn't know that and he softly smiled in his sleep. "Wow, Chris." Cassie says as she sees it, "It's not true, is it?" Jal speaks up making her presence known. Me and Cassie look at her "What?" We both asks looking at her "They're all the same size at action stations." She says, me and Cassie turn our heads to look at Chris once again and both answer with a no. "Poor Chris" Cassie sighs, she then pulls the blanket over him and makes it look like his dick was bit longer "That's better." She says. She leaves to go to the kitchen and Jal falls back asleep, I pick up my shoes from the floor and put them on completely missing my small backpack right by them and go into the kitchen with Cassie.

She comes back into kitchen from being outside "I think Michelle's parents are coming back today." She says, that's when I hear someone outside and I look through the window to see Anwar praying. "Should we tell her?" I asks and she nods, so we both head upstairs to where Michelle is. She's in bed with Tony and I notice Sid on the floor. We go over to the bed and try to wake her up "Chelle." Cassie says "Fuck off, Tone." Michelle groans

"It's me Cass."

"Crazy bitch." Michelle mutters. That's rude Chelle', the fuck.

"Yes"

"Never fucking eats"

"Right, but Michelle, your mum gets back today, yeah?"

"Tomorrow"

"Today's the 13th, isn't it?"

"Mm. Tomorrow" Michelle groans and moves her body closer to Tony. Cassie just leaves it be and I go back downstairs to grab a water from the kitchen. I walk back to the living room and look over to Maxxie, who is sleeping and making the softest snores. Then I look to Chris who is smiling in his sleep while he moves to another comfortable position. I walk over to Chris and give him a kiss on the top of his head then fix the blanket on him since it fell down a bit, then I walk over to Maxxie and kiss his forehead. Afterwards I walk out and meet up with Cassie by the front door and we both walk out to leave and go home.

When me and Cassie were about to go our separate ways we noticed that Michelle's mom just got here. "Oh! Hello Cassandra, Xandria" she greets us "Hi Anna" "Hello" we both said "Hello, um..." Cassie stops because she doesn't know the mans name. "It's Malcom." He says

"Malcolm, yeah, wow. How was the honeymoon?" She asks

" Oh, it was just wonderful, wasn't it, babe?" Malcolm just nods "Just us and 47 Namibian nomads out there in the desert. Heaven."

"That's nice" I say. " We do love a nomad, don't we, babe?" Malcolm asks "So have you two been helping Michelle clear up?" Anna asks us. "Oh, wow, totally." Cassie says while starting to leave. I start to do the same but go the opposite way as her. "I expect she told you girls about my important meeting today. Clients coming to look at my curtain designs." She tells us both. "Oh yeah, she did." I tell her with a smile knowing damn well Michelle didn't. "Right, can we get in? I want some fucking Coco Pops." Malcolm says. He's a little rude. "Well, lovely to see you again Casandra. And I must say you're looking much better than the last time I saw you. Well done" Anna says to Cassie "Oh, you too. Nice to meet you again, Martin." Cassie says before walking away. Anna turns to me and says "It was good to see you again too Xandria." I smile "It was good to see you to Anna. It was also nice meeting you Micheal." I say getting his name wrong on purpose and walk away with a smile smirk on my face. "It's Malcolm" he says correcting both me and Cassie.

I walk far away enough for them to think I'm leaving but when they walk towards the house I stop walking and wait for everyone else, knowing that everyone will be running out when they see Anna home. All the sudden I hear Anna scream and everyone is running around the corner, none of the boys with shirts on. Maxxie and Jal were the first to reach me and I was just laughing while running with them.

When we got far enough away we all stopped running and that's when I noticed I left my backpack at Michelle's. "Shit." I say

"What?" Tony asks

"I forgot my bag."

"Don't worry. I got it." Maxxie says as he hands me my backpack. "I was able to spot it right before we got out." I smile at him and nod in thanks. Jal and Sid go their separate ways home and soon it's just Chris, Maxxie, Tony, and I. I suddenly felt like I had egg in my hair, "Do I have egg in my hair?" I asked the three boys. Tony checks for me, "Oh yeah like a message chunk of egg yolk." He says "Are you lying to me, Tone?" Maxxie looks at my hair and cringes, that's how I know it's true. "Oh great, just great." Now I have to do extra work when I get home. "Alright we'll I'm off" Tony says as he walks off to way to his his house, "Me too" Chris says. "See you guys in a while." They nod and walk away.

Maxxie decided he was just going to stay with me at my house before college started. Once we got there we went upstairs to my room and I went to go get new clothes to wear, "Oh, Maxxie I think I have some of your clothes in that dresser over there." I told him while pointing to the dresser in the corner of my room. He nodded and walked over to grab some spare clothes he had over here. "I'm going to take a quick shower, in your hall bathroom." He told me well leaving the room. Once he left I walked into my bathroom and turned on the water getting in straight away and working to get the egg out of my hair.

After getting all the egg out I washed my body and got out. I quickly got dressed into my new clothes and I brushed my hair letting it keep its natural waves. I got out of the bathroom and saw Maxxie reading the back of one of my Harry Potter books. When he heard the door open he looked up and smiled "This sounds like a good book." He says to me "Yeah, and it is a good book." I tell him as I put my dirty clothes into the pile on my floor.

" JESUS CHRIST XACH! WHERE WERE YOU! YOU HAVEN'T BEEN HOME FOR TWO DAYS AND XANDRIA DECIDED TO NOT COME HOME AT ALL LAST NIGHT UNTIL LATE THIS MORNING. MALAKAI WAS LATE TO SCHOOL YESTERDAY! THESE ARE YOUR KIDS TOO! I CAN'T BE DOING THIS ANYMORE! YOU ARE ALWAYS-" I hear my mom yell from downstairs. Guess dad just got home. I close my room door and sigh, Every. Fucking. Time.

Five minutes later me and Maxxie are about to leave for college, but on our way out my dad stops me and decides to parent me.

"Why didn't you come home last night? Your mother was worried sick." He says to me

"I was at Michelle's and besides what do you care dad, you weren't even here." I say to him as I gave him a sarcastically sweet smile and push Maxxie out the door. We walked while keeping a small conversation and joking around. When we finally got to College we split up to our separate classes.

On my way to the lunchroom, I ran into Tony so we walked to the lunchroom together. We got our food and went to sit down. We spotted Sid, who was sitting with Cassie although Tony didn't seem to notice her. I was going to sit with Chris, Maxxie, Anwar and Kenneth but Tony dragged me with him. "Tony I was gonna sit with them" I whined as he just rolled his eyes at ignored me. I swear he's always dragging me places with him since we were kids.

Sitting down the first thing Tony did was start talking as he sat next to Sid, I went to sit next to Cassie, giving her a nod on greeting. "Look. Pilchards. Cool. And we got them from a fish lady." He said while taking off his bag. "Yeah, I wasn't so keen on them." Sid said to him

"What are you talking about? Omega fats and fishy oils, they're cool."

"I was just talking to Cass, Tony" He says pointing to Cassie

"Oh, hey, Cass." He says while cutting his food up. "How was dippy world?" He asks her well putting food in his mouth. Cassie just looks at him and so do I. "She's better." Sid answers "She just got discharged from the clinic." I smile and look at Cassie "That's good Cass, I'm proud of you." I tell her, she smiles at me "Yeah, whatever." Tony says

"Jesus! Don't you ever wash?" Tony says to him while wiping lipstick off Sid's forehead. Sid looks at Tony's hand and wiped the lipstick from Tony's to his own hand "That's like lipstick." He says in disbelief "Yeah, man, the essence of women. Well, one at least." Tony tells him.

"So who's the lucky lady?" He asks

"That's like someone kissed me."

"I can't believe you haven't washed man. You stink."

"Somebody kissed me." Sid said still on the other topic

"Well, yeah, mate, that's a complete and total fucking operator error, because you stink."

"I didn't have time ." Sid said looking around

"Time? I've been home, showered, done my chi, had a wank, subtly undermined my dad, put new clothes on and here I am-" Tony listed off as I just stared at him rolling my eyes "-with my English coursework." He finishes, my eyes widen

"English coursework"

"We had English coursework?"

Sid and I said at the same time.

"Oh, fuck." Sid groans

"You know what, Sid? Sometimes I wonder why you even bother to get up in the morning. You're such a complete fucking waste of time and—" Tony gets cut off when Cassie subtly pushed the plates and his drink spills on his trousers "Ah shit!" Tony exclaims trying to clean it up "Wow, Tony. It looks like you pissed yourself." Cassie says "Thats not supposed to fucking happen." The four boys at the other table laughing loudly, while Kenneth was saying a bunch of stuff that made Tony punch him. Tony left the lunch room, Cassie and Sid exchanged a few words but I went after Tony already. "Come on Tone's it's just a little spill." I said. He just keeps walking, ignoring me once again, I roll my eyes and just watch him walk away to throw boys toilets . About a minute later he walks out and goes to the female staff toilets. I decided to just wait for him.

I see Sid go in looking for him so I decide to go in as well. When I walk in Sid rambling about the drug dealer, Mad Twatter. At first all I saw was Sid and Tony, at least until Sid says "Hi, Angie" and waves a bit to Angie who is standing there. I hear his words and they take a second to process in my brain, my eyes widen a little and Sid realizes what he said as well "Oh fuck" he says while covering his eyes. I look and Angie with my mouth agape.

"Oh, oh, you wankers. That was well funny, man. But someone's gonna have to apologize 'cause Kenneth's crying now, so he..." I cut Chris' words short by jabbing him in the side and when he turns to me, he sees me staring ahead so he follows my line of vision and sees Angie who doesn't have a bra on. Angie gives him a look and Chris freaks out. "Oh, Jesus Christ, Holy Mary, Mother of God, that's Angie, don't look, get out." He says while pushing us all out. "For fucks sake! Fuck off!" Angie yells as we rush out. "Get out of there and don't look at her!" Chris tells us and he throws us all out. "Hey, hey, hey, if anything you three shouldn't have been in there, yeah it's a staff bathroom, but it was the female bathroom." I give Chris a pointed look and he just stares at me. "No, no, no! You can't play that card, you were looking too, if anything more than us." He tells me and I just roll my eyes while adjusting my backpack. Everyone in the hall was staring at us as well.

Tony puts his pants on and Sid, Tony, and I all start walking to our next classes.

It was time for history. When I walked in I spotted Tony and Sid, so I walked over to them and sat next to Tony. He gave me a small smile "Hey, Xan." He says "hi Xandria." Sid says to me "Hello boys." I say to both of them with small smile to match Tony's.

"Okay, right, everybody, listen up. I'm gonna be taking in your assignments today." Tom states but nobody is really listening, Sid turned to Tony and I "Why are you two so relaxed about this?" He asks us.

"So he's got your ID card. So what?" Tony says to him

"So what? He's gonna cut my fucking bullocks off."

"Chill out, Sid. I'm chilled, Xan is chilled, right?"

"How are you so chilled?"

"Cause I'm confident and relaxed with my ability to improvise."

"Cause I'm going on a course for the rest of the week, and I'm not going to be here." Tom says.

"Also, we didn't buy the drugs, you did." I tell Sid.

"Nice one, thanks, Xan, thanks Tone."

Tom said something about a supply teacher but I wasn't paying attention.

"There's 3,000 students in this college, he won't find you." I tell Sid

Tom stopped talking when someone walked into the room. When I looked up it was Mad, Sid's dealer. "Oh shit." I whispered

"Everybody this is Madison, Madison.."

"Twatter." Mad finished for him and everyone laughed but Sid, Tony, and I. "PHD." He says to us and the three of us share a look. Sid looks scared shitless, his eyes wide, mouth open a bit. Well me and Tony just purse our lips.

"I'm really looking forward, to, to meeting you." He says while looking at Sid. "Oh, I'm beside myself with excitement."

After class Sid is freaking out, me and Tony don't really know what to do but we try out best. "Maybe he'll give you more time." I suggest but Sid just shakes his head. "Sid. Sid. Look at me man." Anwar says as he walks up to us "Oh god." Sid says "What's happening for Christ sakes?" Jal asks "His fucking dealer's a supply teacher." Maxxie tells her "Oh, God." "So?" Jal says "So he's gonna cut Sid's bollocks off." Michelle says while comforting Sid. "Sid. Sid. I'm gonna tap you, okay?" Anwar says and gives him a light slap on the cheek, "Maybe a bit harder." Chris tells him, Anwar does it again but still very weakly. "For Christ sakes." Tony says and looks at me, I roll my eyes and get up from where I was sitting by Maxxie and go over to Sid. "Sid. Can you focus?" I ask him "Oh, god." He repeats so I slap him, a really hard slap. That seems to get Sid back to us.

"Right. It's a bit of a problem, but Sid's our friend and we're going a solve it, okay?" Tony tells everyone "Got that, Sid? We're gonna out out heads together and we're gonna come up with a solution." Maxxie's tells him and he just nods. "Sid, we're here for you. We're thinking of the answers right now." Jal says. We all just look at each other until Chris speaks up "Anyway, I've got sociology, so erm..." he says "yeah, yeah, yeah." We all start getting up to leave and start walking away "Hang on." Jal says and we all stop and turn around. "We're gonna give this some serious thought, yeah guys, okay." Tony says and we all start walking again "We can't just leave him like this." She tells us, we all stop again and Maxxie tells her that we'll get back to him and we walk away for real this time going to class.
