I want to start of my saying thank you all so much for reading this story! And thank you all for having the patience for waiting for the next chapters. I've been so busy with schoolwork that I didn't have time to update, but I've some time now and will try to update a few new chapters these upcoming weeks. Please enjoy!———————————————————-

Hana's POV

"Lieutenant!" I exclaim relieved as I finally get to see Guren again for the first time since our capture. He seems somewhat beat up and pale but he was alive and that was all that mattered."There will be guards just outside the door so don't try anything do you understand?" Horn says looking slightly irritated. She closes the door to the room and we are left alone in the dark."There's a light switch to the left of you miss Takahashi, if you could" Guren says from somewhere in the dark."Of course sir!" I quickly feel around the room to find the light switch and turn it on.

Once the light is on I can get a better look at the situation. Guren has his legs and hands bound together tightly and was sitting on the floor, resting his back to the wall. There were no windows in the room since it seemed to be a supply closet.I immediately go to him and try to free him from his bonds but he stops me."Don't bother. They will be back any minute now and without our weapons there is no way for us to escape."

I sit and the floor in front of him, defeated. "We have to do something lieutenant colonel, we can't just stay here." I try to argue. He just shakes his head."We can't. I've made a deal with Crowley to meet you just to make sure you are still alive. Which surprisingly you are, and you even seem well taken care of. What is going on outside of this closet?" He questions me.

I try to keep down the embarrassment of everything I've learned and experienced since I got here. Should I tell Guren the truth? What if he sees me as a traitor for what I have allowed a vampire to do to me?"Well I... how do I say this." I try to figure out how to best approach the subject. But end up deciding to just go ahead and tell him."Crowley is my soul mate apparently. He has told me all about it and even proven it to me. It's hard to explain but he treats me... relatively good I guess?" I end, not certain if it's a question or not. Is Crowley treating me good? He has imprisoned me here against my will and been trying to get close to me without my approval. But he has also given me food and a bed to sleep in, which seems already a much better treatment that what the lieutenant colonel had been given. He even treated me so kindly and caring last night when I had that nightmare. But I'm happy he wasn't there when I woke up. I wouldn't have been able to live with that embarrassment of having slept in the same bed as a vampire.

Guren seems to be thinking hard about what I told him, not surprised about the whole soulmate part. After a few moments he finally speaks."If what you say is true, is there not a way for you to escape?" He asks.I nod carefully. "There might be. I'm allowed to roam parts of the building on my own. But I can't leave you here." I explain.

"You will have to. At the moment there is no way for both of us to get out of here. If you manage to escape you can maybe reach the others and tell them that I'm still alive. They might risk trying another ambush on Crowley or they might not, but either way at least one of us is freed in the process." He tells me.I shake my head furiously. "I can't leave you here on your own. If Crowley figures out I have escaped who knows what he'll do. He might kill you." I try to tell him."It doesn't matter Hana. It's better to get one of us out of here alive than neither of us."

I bite my lip, trying to think of another way to get us both out of here. Then I remember something.I lower my voice just in case the vampire guards on the other side are listening.

"I do have a weapon sir, it's not much but it's enough to kill them. It's a dagger. If Crowley does care about me he will not let me come in any harms way. If you use the dagger to keep me hostage we both might be able to walk away from here without having to fight our way out." I tell him my plan which I was rather proud of.Guren thought for a moment, "are we going to risk it on the possibility that Crowley would not let any harm come to you? If it's not the case then we might lose the only weapon we have and maybe even both our lives."

I had a feeling Crowley would go crazy if I were in danger but wouldn't risk doing anything in fear of Guren possibly harming me."It's the best shot we both have of escape." I tell him."True, well then, where is the dagger?" He asks me.

Shit...

"I..uh... left it in my room. I was afraid they might find it if I had it on me here." I explain. He sighs in frustration. "The chance of us being able to meet like this again is slim. I promised Crowley information in exchange for this meeting. However, I am surprised at how much time we actually got to speak to each other."

"What information did you promise Crowley !?" I ask surprised. I knew Crowley wasn't just acting nice."Nothing of use to him, but it will hopefully be enough to give us some extra time before he realizes that." Guren tells me.I nod in understanding.

"I'll try to convince Crowley for another meeting between us so I can give you the dagger. It might take some time though." I tell him. "That's fine, it's not like I have much else to do in here anyway." He laughs humorlessly.

Just then we could both hear footsteps approaching. The usual clacking noice of either Horn's or Chess's heels coming towards us.

"It's settled then." I say as I stand up."I'll be back for you lieutenant colonel Guren, I promise you we will both escape this place alive."

"Don't make promises you can't keep miss Takahashi.  Be on your guard out there." He tells me just as the door to the closet opens.

"Time is up, let's go." Chess says as she holds the door open for me. I turn and walk out the door without looking back. I hear Chess turn off the light switch again before closing and locking the door. The three vampire guards retaking their position in front of the door.

Chess escorts me back to my room, although she did take a different route than usual. "Why are we taking this way?" I ask her. Not actually expecting her to answer, but to my surprise she replies.

"Lord Crowley has some important guests to attend to. He doesn't want his human pet in his way while he speaks with them." She tells me in a satisfied voice. As if what she tells me could actually hurt me. My new found feelings for Crowley have not manifested themselves properly enough for me to feel jealous or hurt yet, thank god.

When we finally arrive to my room she lets me go inside first before locking the door from the outside.I hear her heels tapping away quickly down the hall.

I wonder who these guests are.
