Frantic and horrified screams filled the once happy hall of the school as student were running to save their lives.

"Run faster, bitch!" Seongjun, for some unknown reason, still kept a strong grip on Yeorin's wrist.

The poor girl was in shock. She was unable to believe this really was happening. She was so out of it, she was hardly moving her legs on her own. It was like an unstoppable reflex that made her legs move forward as Seongjun kept on pulling her.

"This way. Quickly!"

"Get in there!"

The crowd moved towards the library, where they would be able to hid until the police showed up.

Boys and girls scattered around panicking as Yeongdong was fast approaching, some hiding behind bookshelves or tables.

Without thinking much about it, Seongjun dragged Yeorin harshly into the library, helping boys push a large desk against the door, barricading it.

"Close the door!"

"Don't close the door! Please!"

When they finally saw Yeongdong coming their way, everyone around the ran to safety, however Seongjun and Yeorin stayed in their places, staring at the chubby shooter in terror.

Seeing his merciless bully, Yeongdong raised his gun, pointing it at Seongjun, only for his gun to be empty.

Taking his clumsiness as an opportunity, Seongjun once again took a hold of Yeorin's wrist and pulled her behind a large bookshelf in the back of the library. It was big, it managed to hide six students along with them.

Everyone stayed quiet, shushing each other as they watched in between the books as Yeongdong took off his smaller gun and pull out his bigger one that had been on his back.

Yeorin trembled violently as she placed a hand over her mouth to keep any sound from existing her, yet she couldn't help but cry pathetically.

She was scared. She never felt this much fear in her body.

Her body uncontrollably trembled, her breath was fast and shaky, her hands shook, her ears were ringing, tears were flowing down her cheeks like waterfalls.

She was a mess, but in this situation she was allowed to be a mess. Because she was scared. More than ever.

Yeorin flinched hard as the class door of the library shattered into millions of pieces, her hand flew to her ears to cover them from the loudness, while the students hidden all over the library scream at the loud noise.

She whimpered in horror as she listened of Yeongdong's footsteps coming into the library, making Seongjun slap a hand over her mouth.

"Fucking hell. Seriously." He muttered, pulling the girl into his side.

He wasn't trying to comfort her, he was shutting her up. Keeping her from making any kind of noise that would get them noticed.

"Kang Seongjun!" Yeongdong called out, making the mentioned boy tense up behind Yeorin. "I know you're here. Keeping Yeorin from Gyujin. Come out now."

Some brave students managed to slip past him, quickly leaving the others in the hands of the vengeful boy.

"Kang Seongjun! Oh Sangtae! Hwang Yuseok! I told you to come out. I saw you in here!" Yeongdong yelled, startling everyone at the loud yell.

The simple sound of loading the gun made Yeorin sob furiously into Seongjun's chest.

"Crazy son of a bitch." Seongjun frustratedly whispered.

"If you come out and give me Yeorin, I'll let everyone else live. So hurry and come out." Suddenly everyone around the two was looking at Seongjun expectantly.

Sangtae started to hesitantly rise up to his feet, only for Seongjun to pull him down. "Shut up, you fuckers."

"Wait! Seo Yeongdong!" The head teacher, who hid along with the others came out from his hiding spot.

It was the same teacher who's been ignoring Yeongdong's and Gyujin's constant bullying. There was a time when Yeorin reached out for him to help her with her situation with Seongjun, yet he ignored her just like he ignored the boys.

"It's me, the head teacher. Can we talk for a moment?" The teacher asked desperately.

"Now? After everything?" Yeongdong jeered.

"What?" The teacher looked lost at his reaction.

"Sir. I came to see you several times. I said I was having a hard time.  That I couldn't take it. I begged you for help." Yeongdong's eyes welled up with tears.

"Right, Yeongdong. I hear you. I'll handle everything for you, so why don't you put it down? You don't seem like the Yeongdong I know." The teacher commented, yet what he wanted to calm the boy down made him even more angrier.

"Then what am I supposed to be like? The loser who gets his money stolen and gets beaten every day?" Yeongdong asked in rage.

"No, Yeongdong. That's not what I meant. Calm down.-" Yeongdong didn't calm down.

"Fuck you! You ruined my life, so just shut the fuck up!" Yeongdong yelled then shoot towards the teacher.

Flinching again, Yeorin sobbed in distress. She wanted this to end so badly. She wanted to feel calm and relaxed.

She wanted Gyujin.

"Yeongdong! Hwang Yuseok is over here!" She heard someone yell on the same side of the library where they were.

Yeongdong started moving towards them, carefully looking at the students in his way to make sure he had his targets.

Seongjun peeked out from behind the shelf he and Yeorin was hiding, only for Yeongdong to catch the sight of him and fire his way.

He tried to move but Yeongdong followed him with loaded guns.

Seongjun yelled when Yeongdong fired his way again, he dashed to the side, still pulling Yeorin with his as they sprinted to the wooden desks, hiding behind them.

She couldn't breathe. She was full-on having a panic attack as Yeongdong moved closer and closer towards them. He made it clear he wanted her for some reason, but she had no idea whether he was planning to kill her or not.

"Kang Seongjun, come out!" Yeongdong yelled, scaring the girl more.

Seongjun cried in silence as he pulled Yeorin closer, still to keep her quiet.

"Kang Seongjun......" Yeongdong growled, ready to shoot him.

All of the sudden, Lee Do officer appeared from behind him, preventing him from harming anyone further.

He lowered his arm on the weapon, turned around swiftly and with one single punch in the face with his elbow, he knocked Yeongdong to the ground, out cold.

After testing if the gun was empty, the police officer turned to the students.

"Is everyone okay? This is the police. Kids, are you okay? Anyone hurt?" Officer Lee asked, looking around.

Seongjun slowly lifted himself to stand, leaving the weeping girl on the ground to calm herself.

"Everyone seems okay. That's a relief." The police officer smiled faintly before moving to check on the shooter.

Seongjun felt like this was the end, he turned on his heels and started walking away, he saw Gyujin standing in front of him, gun raised in the air.

"Hey, wait." He stuttered, fearfully moving backwards. "W-Wait, Gyujin, I'm sorry."

Gyujin didn't listen.

He saw his target, so he shot.
