Chapter 18

Vegas reached the cafe in less than 20 minutes and saw Macau at the entrance.

"Macau"  Vegas said

" Phi  how are you here so fast doesn't it takes like 30 minutes to get here?" Macau questioned

"It doesn't matter now tell me where are they?" Vegas said

"Okay then" Macau said and led Vegas inside the cafe, where Mark and Pete were sitting at a table. Mark had a really big smile plastered on his face while Pete looked uncomfortable. Mark had his hand wrapped around Pete's back which angered Vegas.

He walked towards the table and said

"Pete let's go I have something to talk to you about"

"Ye..." Before Pete could say anything Mark cut him off and said

"He is not coming with you because we are in a middle of something here. Right Pete?" Mark said with a irritated face

"Oh well I am not asking for your permission so if you will excuse me I and Pete have to go"  Vegas said and grabbed Pete's hand and dragged him along

"Hey" Mark was about to stop Vegas when Macau stopped him and said

"Phi why don't we have a conversation while they have theirs"

"And why do I have to talk to you?" Mark said

"Because if we don't talk through our mouths then my hand and feet will start talking" Macau said

"Are you threatening me?" Mark questioned

"Threatening you? Oh no I haven't even think about that, really, but I wanted to give you some information about me and my brother. My brother is a black belt in karate and he also do kick boxing, and as for me I'm the best boxer in my boxing club and may or may not have won some trophies" Macau said

And then he saw Mark's face being clouded by fear and felt proud with what he did. Mark got a hold of himself and said

"Do you think I'm scared?"

"Phi who told you to be scared it was just some friendly information nothing much" Macau said and squeezed Mark's shoulder hard. Mark felt the pain and free himself from Macau's grip and said

"I'm leaving now but I'm not scared you hear me."

"Yes phi you're not scared I got it" Macau said and waved Mark goodbye. Mark was hurriedly trying to get out of the cafe when Macau called for him

"Phi?"  Mark turned and answered

"What?"

"Just a friendly reminder, don't you dare get anywhere near phi Pete okay, are we clear?" Macau said

"Okay I get it" Mark answered and left the cafe as fast as possible

After Mark left Macau smiled and thought to himself

"I should ask phi to talk to dad to raise my pocket money, after all I did so much for him"

Outside at the garden of the cafe

"Vegas where are you taking me?" Pete questioned as Vegas dragged him along 

After sometime Vegas stopped and let go of Pete's hand and said

"Pete I have to tell you something." Vegas said as he turned towards him

"What do you want to say?" Pete said

"Pete can you stop talking to that Mark guy when  you're so uncomfortable with him" Vegas said

"I want to but I can't just ignore him now can I? We have to study together for 4 years so, it's kinda not possible." Pete said with a confused face

"But why do you want me to stop talking to him, are you jealous Vegas?" Pete questioned

There was silence after the question and it was so awkward so Pete said

"You don't have to answer that"

"No I'll answer that" Vegas said and stepped towards Pete and cupped his face and said

"Yes I'm jealous, I'm jealous of every guy that comes near you or try to hit on you. And no it's not because you're my friend but it's because I love you" Vegas confessed. Pete looked up and meet his eyes and said

"Vegas what are you saying?"

"I'm telling the truth Pete. I know it feels like it's too soon because it's been only a month since my break up with Tawan but trust me Pete it's not a rebound act. I realised that I have love you my whole life it's just that I never really thought that my feelings for you were love. I always thought that it's just what childhood friends feel for each other but no what I feel for you is different.

I want to protect you and stop anyone else from hurting you, I want to always see you smile and be happy. I want to be there for you when you want someone to comfort you, when you need a shoulder to cry. I want to be the one to wipe those tears away replace it with a smile. So Mr. Pete Phongsakorn Saengtham will you be my boyfriend and let me fulfill all my promises to you?" Vegas asked

Pete couldn't hold back the tears and let them flow freely. He took Vegas's face in his hands and pecked his lips and said

"And that's my answer. Yes I'll be your boyfriend" Pete said with a smile. Vegas kissed Pete's cheeks and hugged him. They were enjoying the moment when someone said

"OH MY GOD, finally" they both were surprised and broke the hug to look at the direction from where the voice was coming and saw Macau standing there and clapping his hands like a happy child

He happily walked towards them and hugged them both and said

"Finally my dream of having phi Pete in the family is fulfilled. It's the best the day of my life."

"Yeah and it would have turn to the worst if you weren't my brother because you stopped me from hugging Pete" Vegas said

"Vegas" Pete said and elbowed Vegas

"Come on phi forgive me, I didn't mean to but you will be happy to know that I solved your problem with Mark. He won't disturb you again" Macau said and winked at Vegas. Vegas knew that his brother must have done something but he didn't mind and said

" Thank you buddy"

"Macau what did you do?" Pete asked Macau. He looked at Pete and said

"Nothing phi Pete, I may have given him some information about my brother and mine's interests in martial arts" Macau said with an innocent face, Pete looked at him accusing eyes

"Okay then I should leave" Macau said and distant himself from Pete

"Why? Weren't you taking me on a date?" Pete asked confused

Macau looked at Pete and Vegas's confused face and said

"No it's not me who's taking you on a date, it's my phi. He will take you on a date"

"What? I don't understand." Pete said

"Well it was all a plan to take you on a date and make phi jealous so that he would finally confess" Macau said

"That means you planned all this" Vegas asked

"Yeah me and phi Saint planned all this and phi Perth helped a little." Macau confessed

"Okay now I have to go I have some things to do. So enjoy your date and phi I won't be coming home tonight, I'll be at phi Saint's" Macau said with a cheeky smile. He waved them good bye and left a blushing Pete and stunned Vegas behind.

Vegas looked at Pete and said

"So I guess we are going on a date"

"Yes I guess so" Pete said. Vegas put his hands forward for Pete to hold it. Pete looked at his hands and hold it with a smile

"Then let's go, I'll take you the best date in your life" Vegas said and entered the cafe again.

Pete was finally happy to hold the hand that he has been dreaming to hold his whole life. Right now all this feels like a good dream and if this really is a dream he doesn't wanna wake up. He wants to sleep happily forever.
