A knock on her bedroom door wakes her up from her deep slumber, which makes her groan is annoyance. The knocking doesn't stop as she sits up from under her covers.

'Wait a minute, who the hell entered my house?' Melody thought as her eyes shot wide open, she gets off the comfort of her canopy red bed and onto the carpeted floor. She walks up to the door silently while grabbing her laced vintage umbrella and grabbing the doorknob. She sets her foot behind the door so the person can't force themselves in, she opens the door and peek outside to see Sin instead.

"What the hell are you doing in my house?" Melody says, still having the door opened a little. Sin grabs the door as Melody glares at her hand,

"Awh hun, let me in! I'm here because we have a surprise for you!~" She cooes, Melody brings up her umbrella and pokes Sin's hand which made the girl retreat her hand in reflex.

"You woke me up in the worse way possible, leave me alone." The long black haired girl grunts as she slams the door shut and locking it.

"Awhh babyyy, pleaseee~" Sin whines from the other side of the door, Melody rolls her eyes. It's too early for this bullcrap. Besides, the hotel is closed today. All the guests are free to roam hell to take a day off for a bit, they all seen kind of pressured and Charlie wanted them to just have a good time.

Sin continue to whine and knock on the door of the girl's bedroom, the girl ignores as she walks over to dressing table where there's a radio. She turns it on as she puts it on a loud volume, dying out the sounds Sin is making.

Melody hums along the song, completely ignoring the succubus outside. She turns around on her heels and start making her bed, maybe she can go to that cafe a few blocks down to get breakfast? Hm, she's craving pancakes.

Sin had turned completely silent from the other side of the door, Melody doesn't pay attention to it as she turns back around to find Sin sitting on her dresser and looking through Melody's box of jewellery.

"Ohh, earrings! I never seen you wear earrings." Sin smiles as she picks up a pair of red earrings. Melody rolls her eyes as she snatches the box and the earring away from the girl and set it back into the dressing table drawer.

"I only wear it on special occasions that I'm actually looking forward to." She replies as she picks up her hair brush on the table and brushes her hair. "By the way.." she starts as she stops brushing her hair for a minute and eyeing her best friend. "Why are you wearing a suit?" She points out with her hair brushing aiming at the girl.

"Well, like I said; we have a surprise for you." She smiles and throwing up a peace sign with her right hand. Melody stays quiet as she continues to brush her hair,

"You look horrible." The black haired girl spat, making Sin feel like a spear just went through her heart. "Your buttons are not done all the way through, the cuffs of sleeves around your wrists are messy and your tie isn't done properly." Melody says, not even looking at Sin.

"Damn Me-" Before Sin could say anything, Melody points to her closet with her hair brush. "Recently I made a suit because I was bored, go try that on."

"Why did you even make a suit?" Sin asks as she jumps off her dresser and walks over to the walk-in closet, pushing the doors aside to see a mannequin doll with a black suit with a silk purple tie on it. Its completely done and looks like it would fit the succubus like a glove.

"No reason." Melody replies, clearly lying because the suit seems to be exactly Sin's size and she doesn't know whether to question how the girl knows her sizes or not. Sin closes the doors of the closet as she tries the suit on and taking off the one she had before, which was given by Charlie but it barely fits her.

The purple black ombre haired girl walks out to see the girl scrolling through her phone.

"How do I look?" Sin asks, catching her attention. Melody looks up as she stares at Sin. The girl says nothing as she walks up to her friend, she fixes her collar, the tie and brush out the suit to clear out some wrinkles.

"Hm, better." Melody says as she holds up her hand, red smoke covers it as a purple rose appears. She tucks it inside the chest pocket and steps back, having a hand on her cheek as she look at the suit.

"This is actually pretty comfortable, thanks Mel." Sin says, Melody slightly smiles back since she's still a bit tired from waking up.

"You can keep it, I can't find my other mannequins to sew more clothes on. Could only find one and the suit occupied it." Melody creates up an excuse as she slightly yawn and walks up to her bathroom.

"Thanks. Also, there's a dress in there and it's would be lovely if you wear it for today." Sin says, Melody turns back to the girl with a deadpanned look.

"It better not be a thin dress or I'm cutting it up to take the fabric instead." Melody says as she walks in the bathroom and closes the door behind her.

Sin shifts her weight on her heels as she holds her hands behind her back, spinning around and looking around the room. The ceiling had beautiful cravings and decorations, it looked like a vintage castle. The room is always a little bit dark but the dim sunlight from behind the red curtains shine through and lighting the room she's in.

That's when Sin notices something she never noticed before, there's a shelf with a lot of jars. She walks close to it and looks at the labels that are sticked on it, there's 'Rosemary', 'Cinnamon' and lots more. There's a string that ties from the sides of the shelves and hung dried oranges.

Sin knows very well these are some Wiccan things, there's even crystals here and there. Not to mention how nice the room smelled because of everything on the shelf.

The door of the bathroom opens up as Sin ignores it and looks at the crystals, picking up one of the purple amethyst crystal.

"Are you into witchcraft, hun?" Sin asks as she looks at the crystal, it shines and glitters towards her.

Melody hums as she walks over to her dressing table and pulling the drawer open, taking out silk black gloves.

"Yeah, just a little bit." She answers as she wears her gloves and ties her hair into a messy bun; struggling a little bit due to how long her hair is. Sin puts the crystal back in its place and turns to her friend, gasping at how pretty she looked. "I'm thinking of cutting my hair soon.. but I have a feeling I'll regret it." She says to herself as she shrugs, picking up her black lipstick and painting her lips.

"You look beautiful, Mel!" Sin smiles, the said girl looks at her friend from the mirror in front of her and slightly smiles.

"Thanks. But right now I want food." She randomly blurt out as she sits on her stool and wears on her high boots. She stands up and looks at herself in her big mirror, turning around to look at the sides. "Hm, I honestly like this dress."

"It suits you." Sin grins as the girl only look at her in silence, she turns around and walks towards her door; picking up her umbrella in the process.

The two walk out of the house as Melody opens up her umbrella and hovers it over herself, Sin closes the door behind them.

"Today, my only priority is you." Sin says as she grins at Melody who didn't even look her way, "And whoever looks at you, I'll make sure the last thing they see is red."

"Do whatever you please as long as you don't touch me." The black haired girl says and walks off.

"Awh, shucks!" The other girl playfully snaps her fingers, earning an eye roll from Melody but it's not see due to her umbrella.

"Anyways, where are we going? I want food." Sin waves her hand as the two walk,

"We're going to the hotel, there's food there for you already." Sin says, Melody raises her eyebrows as she narrows it.

'What the hell is going on?' She asks herself, the two arrives by the hotel as Sin opens the door for her. She walks in and closes her umbrella, seeing everyone there as they bow down.

"Welcome back, M'lady." They say in unison, making Melody jump in surprise. Everyone is dressed formally, there's literally everyone; Marcy, Jay, Rosie, Akira, Angel and everyone else that's always been there.

"If you guys' plans are to make me feel uncomfortable, congratulations; I am scarred." Melody says as she looks around the hotel lobby, everyone then just laughs it off and went to do their own thing. But, Alastor walks up to her and Sin.

"I'll leave you to Al. I have something to do." Sin says as she winks at black haired girl and walks off towards Jay, Rosie and Angel.

"Hey Al." Melody smiles and waves at the male, immediately catching the demon off guard as he forces his blush down.

"Greetings, my dear! How are you today?" He asks with a soft smile. The girl hangs her umbrella on her left arm as she tucks her hair behind her ear.

"I'm doing okay, pretty hungry though. How about you?" She answers and looks around the lobby to see the others talking to each other.

"I'm doing fantastic! Well, lucky for you; I've made some pancakes for you in the kitchen." He says as he gestures to the kitchen doors with his hand. The girl's eyes lights up as she smiles widely,

"Are you serious?! I been craving that ever since I woke up!" She squeals in excitement, the deer demon nods and smiling at the girl's adorable reaction.

The two walks off into the kitchen while laughing and talking with each other. Sin watch them from afar until they disappear behind the doors.

"You look like a stalker, princess." Angel snorts at Sin as Rosie giggles.

"A creepy stalker too." Jay adds as he grins at the female, Sin crosses her arms as a slight blush is spreading across her face. It's certainly not fair to have both of them against her.

"Awh, babe are you blushing?" Angel teases, snickering. Jay looks at Sin's face which made it even redder,

"Oho?~ Rosie look, we have a strawberry." Jay teases too as he picks up the little girl and pointing at Sin who pouts and glares.

"Don't bring Rosie into your bul— uh— jokes!" Sin corrects herself, reminding herself that there's a child. Jay only grin in return and the little girl giggles uncontrollably. Angel start to laugh and Sin crosses her arms, not liking the situation as her face is still flushed from embarrassment.

'It's not fair for it to be both of them..' She thought as she looks away, trying to take her mind off the two idiots. "I'm gonna check on Mel." She makes an excuse as she walks away towards the kitchen but stops by the door and peeks in the small window.

Alastor seem to be talking to Mel as she rests her head on her hand on the table, staring and listening to him like she's lovestruck. It could just be Sin but she swore Melody's pupils had turned into small heart shapes, like that time when she shape shifted into Heartz. That was such a long time ago.

When Alastor turns to look at her, the heart shapes immediately disappears and turns into it's original circle shape. She smiles at the male and laughs, making Alastor caught off guard as he smiles back.

The two are obviously head over heels over each other, Sin mentally curses at Alastor for not making a move. The two only smile at each other with closed eyes until they accidentally look at each other at the same time and they look away immediately after.

Melody touches her cheeks with her hands, feeling the heat from her face. Her face is more flushed than usual and Alastor is hiding his face with the back of his hand. They're both so awkward.

Suddenly a soft blow hits Sin's ears as she jumps and turns around abruptly, her face inches away from Jay's.

"Stalking again, I see?" He teases, Sin's face turns completely red. He only grins at her reaction,

"Don't scare me like that!" She whisper shout as Jay backs away, looking into the small window of the door to see Melody and Alastor had started talking again as the black haired girl is fiddling with her strand of hair. "They're so awkward." Sin says as she joins him.

"I don't blame them, they don't seem like they're the type of people to fall easily." Jay shrugs, Sin nods in agreement.

"Where's Rosie?" Sin asks, not seeing the little girl by his side. Jay throws his head towards the direction of where he was before. Sin moves to the side a little bit to see Angel playing with her by spinning her around, her cute white dress flying around.

"That's so cute." Sin says as she watch them, her blush still there.

"It sure is. I'm glad Rosie can trust someone else." He says as he watch the two play. Sin glances at the male beside her, how can she manage this feeling inside of her stomach?

A lover from the past; she thought as she watch Jay blinks his beautiful eyes. She turns to Angel, a crush that will never be hers. She thinks he probably only view her as a friend, he's gay after all.

Sin sighs mentally as she crosses her arms, oh how much she wishes to be dull like Melody from before.

All of the sudden Alastor and Melody walks out of the kitchen, right on time as Charlie runs up to the lobby with a board game in her hands.

"Everyone let's play this together!"

It's been a few hours and they have played countless of games and having fun, telling stories, singing together, dancing and much more. It's almost midnight too, that's how long they been hanging out with each other.

Melody stands on the balcony as her body leans forward on the railing, watching the lights of hell shining in front of her. You can always find beauty in everything.

She closes her eyes as she lets herself feel the breeze of the night hit her, her hair softly swaying alongside her dress.

She suddenly feels something in front of her face, she opens her eyes to see a vanilla shortcake with a candle on it and a familiar hand holding the plate.

Her eyes widens as it shines, she turns to the side to see Alastor smiling softly at her.

"Happy birthday, darling." He says, Melody quietly gasp as she closes her mouth. "Here, make a wish and blow the candle!"

She turn from the cake to him and back at the sweet desert as she slowly take the plate from him. She closes her eyes as she wish with her heart and blows the candle out, watching the fire disappear into thin air and the smoke.

"Thank you, Al." She smiles at the demon as he smiles back at him. Suddenly she hears a firework, she turns back to the view in front of her to see fireworks.

Charlie had used her powers as she created fireworks and everyone else watching them from the porch of the hotel.

Her rich red eyes shine and sparkle as she watch the beautiful fireworks firing in the sky, not noticing the pair of eyes staring and admiring her beauty.

Without caring what would happen next, Alastor leans in as he lands a kiss on her cheek making the girl snap her head at the male; face completely red that he couldn't help but chuckle at how adorable she looked.

"That's your gift." He manage to say through the loud explosions of the fireworks. Melody purses her lips as she grabs his collar with her free hand and pulls him to her height, kissing him as the brightest and the last firework explodes into the sky.

The two pull away as Alastor is wide eyed, Melody lick her lips and smiles.

"You got lipstick on you." She giggles. "Thank you for the birthday gift."
