Cuffs Hurts More Than Strings

"You'll have to treat him with full loyalty and respect until they are no longer together." Lucifer smiles wider, watching Melody break down from her posture with widened eyes.

"But-" Melody tries to reason but Lucifer holds his apple cane up which made her shuts up. Lucifer clicks his tongue as he swings his cane left to right,

"Darling," He calls her on purpose, "You know better than to disobey me, no?" Lucifer taunts her, she press her lips shut, gripping her scythe tightly in her half gloved right hand; fighting the burning urge to beheaded the king of hell.

"Yes, Lucifer." She reply, the said demon smiles with his eyes closed towards her. Oh how much she wish to wipe that shit eating smile off from his face and shove his face on a pile of dead corpses. Charlie watch Melody stare off to the ground, she quietly gasp when black liquid slowly pours out of her right eye. It slides down her cheek and drops on her dress. The black haired girl does nothing but blink away the excess, what is it exactly? Tears? Charlie doesn't know, she never seen Melody cry before and probably would never.

Another door opens up as the queen of hell enters, making Lucifer stand up from his seat; immediately looking lovestruck upon seeing his wife.

"Dear!~" He cooes, Lilith smiles at her husband and walks up to him, greeting Alastor and Charlie with a wave which Charlie return with a overly happy wave and Alastor only smile. Lilith hugs her husband and notices Melody who's staring dully to the floor.

"Oh, what did you do to poor Melody now?" Lilith says as she breaks the hug and walks over to Melody, holding the girl's shoulders and earning a slight jump of surprise from the shorter female. Lilith notices the black substance dripping from her cheeks as the queen of hell flatten her lips, knowing exactly what it is. "Do you need to blow off some steam, Mel?" She asks, Melody lowers her head and slowly nod.

Lilith rubs the other's girl shoulder comfortingly she softly push the girl forward, "Go." She says as she holds her own hips, Melody grips on her scythe; turning to Lucifer who have his eyes lidded with displeasure. The queen of hell turns to her husband,

"Let her let loose." Lilith says as she crosses her arms towards her husband, Lucifer sighs and waves off to Melody to be excused. The girl bows down as she walks out of the office,

"Why did that happen, mom?" Charlie asks out of worry, Lilith turns to her daughter and sighs.

"She isn't capable of emotions so it bottles up inside of her and she can't control it. Her blood boils and it comes out of her eyes, it can bruise her eyes if she holds it back." Lilith let's out another sigh as she leans her head on her hand. Alastor remembers something, it happened when she had slapped Akira across the face. It almost made him laugh but he couldn't do, so his radio static goes off. But since it's normal for radio static go off from him, nobody questions it.

  A demon falls off from his wobbly knees and onto the floor, scared and terrified. Melody glares down at him which he whimpers and scrambles up to his feet, running away. The black haired girl scoffs as she brings her right gloved hand to her mouth, gripping the glove with her teeth as she pulls on it; fixing the glove tightly back on her hands.

"You scared the dead wits out of that demon." Slither who's sitting by the benches says, Melody turns to him; her piercing rich red eyes accidentally glaring him. That only made him grin in amusement. Melody let's go of her scythe as it disappears in a puff of smoke and she walks up to the bench; sitting beside the blue spider.

"Lucifer is pissing me off. Everyone is pissing me off." Melody says as she crosses her legs and her arms. Slither blurts out a laugh making Melody glance at him, "Why are you laughing?" She asks, a bit ticked off.

"You hate everyone, dollface." He chuckles, Melody huffs as she pulls her gloves off from her hands. "But I'm sure you're hella mad with Angel even more." He chuckles a little bit more. A red puff of smoke summons something as it drops on Melody's hands,

"What is your relation with Angel anyways?" Melody asks as she holds whatever it is in her hand in her left hand, looking at her right hand; admiring her black painted nails.

"He's my cousin, it's a boring story." Slither yawns to show how boring it is, "I made him my slave just for fun- What the fuck is that a severed hand?" Slither stops when he notices what's in Melody hands. The girl bites down on it as blood jumps out, spilling a bit down her chin. She bites a bit of flesh off and chews it, looking at Slither with raised eyebrows.

"Yes and what?" Melody questions, Slither stares at her and slowly blinks.

"You're eating a hand." Slither states the obvious after she asks 'what'. She shakes her head,

"No, I'm asking why did you make Angel your slave." Melody asks again after gulping down the flesh, dodging his statement. Slither flatten his lips in defeat,

"It's embarrassing but I felt like I lacked power, besides; its fun seeing him suffer." Slither chuckles, Melody scoots away from him on the bench making him scoff.

"Sadist, disgusting." She shames him playfully, he fakes a dramatic gasp.

"You're literally eating a severed hand and you're calling me disgusting for being a sadist?" He snorts, showing that he enjoys her company. Melody shrugs as she bites off the index finher of the severed hand by biting on it and it cuts off like a carrot.

Slither slightly cringe at the sound of a finger breaking as he shudders.

"As if you never seen a limb before." Melody says as she licks her the blood off her lips. He shrugs,

"I seen dead bodies but not one being eaten," He says as he turns to Melody, poking her shoulder; "Like you." He teases and Melody only rolls her eyes, earning a grin from the blue spider. A few minutes passes as Melody finishes her little.. dessert. Red smoke covers her hands as the leftover bones disappears to who knows where, Melody makes sure there's no blood on her hands as she wears her gloves back on.

"Wanna go back inside?" She offers as she fixes her hair, Slither turns to her; pointing to his own face.

"There's a little something on your cheek." He tells her, she tries to wipe it off but doesn't know where it is. "No, right there." He grins at how stupid she looked, she tries again; failing. He chuckles, "You're stupid, let me get that." He says as he pulls out a cloth from his suit and wipes it off from her face but only a bit of it comes off,

"Is it gone yet?" She asks, being annoyed that someone is touching her face. Slither shakes his head,

"The blood is dried, Mel. Hold on." He says as he picks up his left hand and holds her other cheek, wiping the dried by pressing the cloth a little bit more.

Meanwhile the two is busy, they haven't noticed Charlie and Alastor had walked out of the castle. Right ahead of them, Charlie notices the two.

"Oh there they are!" She points, Alastor looks ahead to see Slither cleaning Melody's face. He stays quiet as he stares,

"There," Slither finishes up, finally letting Melody breathe. But it was only for a second until Slither had the audacity to suddenly pinch the girl's cheek; making the girl whine. "Your cheek is so chubby." He laughs, liking the whining from Melody.

"Kwnock it uff, Slyvan!" She manages to say, but he wouldn't stop so she reaches out and smacks his face not too hard, but enough for him to let go. The male laughs but the girl only rubs her now a bit redden cheek in frustration. "I'll skin you alive and make you my damn carpet." She threatens as she stands up from the bench, leaving Slither to laugh on his own.

"Al?" Charlie calls out, Alastor blinks as his eyes flickers to the blonde haired demon. "Are you okay?" She asks, he been staring at the two and if Charlie was right; his radio humming were getting a bit louder by the second.

"Oh, I am doing wonderful! Now, let's go back to the hotel shall we?" He beams, trying to hide something but Charlie shrugs it off; smiling back at him as the two walks up to the other two.

"Your cheek was soft like a mochi!" Slither laughs, Melody crosses her arms.

"Shut up before I make you into one." She says and turns to the side, noticing Alastor and Charlie. "Ready to go back?" Melody asks, mostly towards Charlie but Lucifer's words reminded her; making her glance at Alastor too. Charlie nods,

"Yep, all set!" She smiles, Melody nods. Slither stands up, knowing damn well Alastor is actually glaring at him. But he only smiles, loving the negative energy coming from the radio demon.

"Good, I don't want to spend another eternity in this damn place." Melody says, as if she actually been here for  eternity before. She turns on her heels to walk away but Slither takes up the chance to walk up beside her and wrap an arm around her neck; due to her being shorter than him.

"Aye walk me to the limo." Slither jokes, Melody tries to get his arm off but he only puts it back right after.

"I'm not your damn slave, you sadistic blueberry!" She scoffs, earning a laugh from the male instead. Charlie holds Alastor's arm as the two follows behind the other two who seem to be bickering to one another, kind of one sided because Melody had decided to give the spider the silent treatment.

    "You look so pretty, Sin!" Niffty claps her small hands, smiling up at the girl. Sin uncomfortably hugs herself, the girl is wearing a luxurious lilac dress that shows off her shoulders and arms.

"Angie, get me out of this! It's uncomfortable!" She shrieks, Angel who's in a drag; shakes his head.

"You promised me that you'd join me!" He reminds her, Sin holds the dress in her gripped hands.

"You said join you in picking a dress for fun! You didn't say that I have to be in one!" She desperately tries to beg, Angel hums for a moment; rethinking what Sin had just said.

"Hmm.." He hums, Sin smiles a little; thinking that Angel might change his mind. "Nope!" He says, making the girl who have her hair down; drops down to her knees in defeat.

"Awh, cheer up, Tsumi! You're really gorgeous in it!" Niffty tries to cheer Sin up but the girl huffs.

"Thank you, Mademoiselle." She mumbles as she buries her face in her hands that is in a silk lilac long gloves in embarrassment. Husk who's behind the bar only leans on the bar with his bottle of cheap booze in hand, ignoring the shenanigans of the three demons in the lobby.

"—ugh, as if!" Melody opens the front door as she grunts. The second she looks in front of her, she only stares. Sin suddenly stands up as she turns to her best friend,

"Oh welcome home, babe~" Sin suddenly flirts, walking forward to Melody but accidentally steps on the skirt of her dress, tripping and falling face-first on the floor. The black haired girl only look as her friend fall, Slither, Alastor and Charlie who's behind Melody also only watch in silence. Angel holds the urge to laugh as his eyes travels up and right on Slither,

"Slyvan babe!" Angel cheers, running up to him with open arms; trying to hug him. But Slither dodges as Angel hugs whoever is in his arms but the person he's hugging is a bit shorter than him and slimmer.. Angel opens his eyes to see a red striped suit. "Oh shit." Was all he manage to say before god knows what happened next. Melody walks up to Husk and sits on the stool, watching everyone talk with each other.

Sin is rubbing her nose and whining about how Melody didn't help her, Angel got a blow to his head from Alastor and is now sitting beside Sin who's whining on the couch. Slither is on the side, containing his laughs. Niffty is trying to console Sin but it doesn't seem to be working. Alastor is not amused and Charlie couldn't help  but smile and giggle.

Melody turns to Husk and notices a milkshake in front of her, she raises her eyebrows at the cat demon and he only shrugs. She thank him as she sips on it through the straw, leaning forward on the counter.

She smiles slightly and Husk notices.

'Maybe this isn't so bad after all.' Melody thought as her smile grew just a little bit. Or so that's what she thought, not knowing what will happen in the next few weeks.

The clock tower of hell moves its number, '030 days left after the next extermination' it says. Oh, it's going to be very bad.

[?/?/1930][Before the sworn loyalty]

"Kill the queen of hell and I'll tell you where she is." An overlord says to a black haired girl, her eyes are narrowed and have a serious look on her face. "If you get to kill Lilith; you have yourself a deal, Miss Karma." The rough voice of the overlord laughs, Melody — or rather at this time known as Miss Karma; scoffs.

"I'll make sure you're gutted for my dinner if you're fucking with me." She warns as she walks out of that place, the second she leaves. The demon laughs with his comrades,

"She fell for it!" He snorts, his comrades doing the same.

She hides behind the pillars of the castle of hell that belonged to Lucifer. If she manages to assassinate Lilith, she'll get to know where her beloved best friend is; or so she thought. She didn't know that she been tricked this whole time.

Lilith walks around the garden, looking at the dead flowers in front of her. In a split second, Miss Karma appears and holds her scythe blade against Lilith's throat. The woman jumps and froze in place,

"I'm so sorry." Karma says, almost trying to pull her scythe and end Lilith's life but a scream stops her. Not just any scream, it's a child's scream and then a laughter. Karma looks to the side and so did Lilith, to see a little blonde toddler being held by a demon who is one of the overlord's comrade. "What the hell are you doing?!" Karma shouts, making Lilith confused.

"Thanks to you, we can take this bitch down too! Maybe it'd teach Lucifer to keep his ass down!" He laughs, Karma holds up her scythe as she spins it and cuts through the air, sending a blow right through the demon as the little toddler is released. He falls to the floor, bleeding. "What the fuck are you d-doing?!" He shouts, Karma walks up to him.

"Killing a child was not part of your boss' deal." She sneers, before she knows it; an purple snake had wrapped around her ankle. Melody widens her eyes, looking down at her foot and behind her. There stood an angered Lucifer, ready to skin someone alive. "Fuck." She cuss, stabbing the snake with the sharp stand of her scythe, making it loosen the grip.

She grabs the demon in front of her by his collar and runs out of there by using her teleportation portal. When she arrived back at the overlord's base, she shove the demon aside.

"You'll pay for this." The demon says through with blood coming out of his mouth as he chokes and dies from loss of blood. Karma scoffs,

"More like you, serve under me you pathetic demon." She says as a hole opens up and the demon falls in. The girl walks forward and looks inside the base, it's a massacre. Everyone is dead, every single one. A slight radio static comes from behind her as she jumps in the air and all the way to the back of the room with her scythe in hand.

"Why hello there, dear! How are you?" He smiles widely.

'Who in the fuck is this strawberry pimp?' Karma mentally snort, but at the same she can't really say anything; she looks like a doll going to a funeral.

A few minutes pass as the two talk, but she had to get out of there. The deal is broken since the overlord is dead and Lucifer is probably coming for her head on a dinner plate.

"Dear," He stops her, she turns to him. "What's your name?" He asks, his smile never leaving his face. It made her smile a little,

"Kana — They call me, Miss Karma."
