Don't Look At Me

As soon as Melody reach her home, it's already around 7PM. She should get herself ready early and go there before them so it wouldn't seem auspicious. The girl unlocks her door and walks in her cozy empty home and closes the door behind her. She sets her umbrella in its place beside the door as she quickly runs up the stairs and into her bedroom, her boots making a soft tapping noise as she runs.

She stops in front of her closet as she pulls the sliding doors to the sides, looking inside her big closet. There on the side of clothes she never really touches; hung a red wine dress. Its a tight dress that hugs around the body of whoever is wearing it, can you see now why Melody doesn't wear it? It's too revealing. The reason why she have it in her closet in the first place was — Lilith thought it was a good idea and bought Melody a dress because her usual ones are too 'plain'.

Melody sighs as she pulls the dress off the hanger that holds it up and walks out the closet with it in hand. She set it down on the bed, walking back into the closet to take a pair of black high heels, a furry pink glittery scarf and just to make it more unlike herself; something to wear on her thigh since the dress is cut on the side, revealing her legs. Melody stares at the clothing in front of her as she holds her forehead and sighs. The things she do to get back what was hers..

The girl turns on her heels as she walks over to her dressing table, taking off her half gloves and set it down on the table. With that she hop in the shower and get herself ready. It's only been 20 minutes since then, she walks up to the mirror as she looks at herself. Sighing as she stare at her face, the girl uses one of her abilities — shape shifting. A red puff of smoke covers her face as her eyes turns into completely different looking. Her left iris turns into a heart and on the right it turns into a diamond, resembling cards.

She also have tattoes on her shoulders, a heart and a diamond. Melody looks at herself in the mirror as she flatten her lips, she picks up a red lipstick as she softly paint her lips. Taking an eyeliner only to draw a small dot under her right eye. She sighs as she steps back, looking at herself. Something looks missing as she pulls her drawer and takes out pink long gloves that reaches up her elbow and wears it on.

Red puff of smokes covers her features again as horns appears on her head, looking completely different than her real ones. Melody turns to her big mirror and looks at herself, as if looking at someone else in the mirror. She taps her right foot on the ground as her skin slowly turns dark from her feet as it travels all the way up to her head. The girl nods as she picks up a necklace and wears it around her neck.

Melody looks at the time to see it's almost 8PM, she wastes no time as she walks out the door and on her way to where Charlie had mentioned. Tonight's mission is to make herself completely someone else and assure Charlie's safety from that hell hole of a demon.

Meanwhile, Charlie is waiting in the lobby. Even though she was told to wear something "fancy", she thinks its better if she just wears her usual tux. It is fancy itself too. A few minutes later, Alastor walks up to her and offers his arm.

"Dear, are you ready to go?" He asks with a smile, Charlie jumps from his sudden voice and looks up at him. She slowly nod as she stands up, hesitating whether to intertwine her arm in his or not. But she didn't even have the chance to think as Alastor drags her to the door, "Let's get it moving! We don't wanna be late, do we?" Alastor laughs as his radio static laces his voice. Charlie only chuckles awkwardly as the two walks out the door.

Vaggie watch with her arms crossed and a frown on her face. Clearly jealous and also worried for her girlfriend's safety. She pinches the bridge of her nose as she sighs, Sin pops her head up from the couch.

"Where are they going?" She asks Vaggie, the girl sighs as her shoulders become tense.

"A popular restaurant, for dinner." Vaggie says, her voice sounding hurt the whole time she spoke. Sin frowns, why would Alastor do that? She thought Al was into Melody? What in the name of hell happened? Angel pops his head out from the couch beside Sin as he smiles.

"Oh, ya mean that restaurant that have the best alcohol and the best gambling games?" Angel sound excited, Vaggie don't have the mood to talk to Angel but she nods nonetheless. Husk looks up from behind the bar, hearing the mentioning of alcohol and gambling. Angel sees this as he looks at Husk, "Aye babe, do you wanna go with me? We can have some fun~" He cooes, Sin bites down her bottom lip as she feels like Angel didn't even try to invite her along.

"I'd rather fuckin' die twice." Husk huffs as he turns away from the spider, Angel whines as he gets off the couch and walks up to Husk; not taking a no as an answer. Vaggie sighs as she walks off into the office with a very furrowed brows and worried heavy heart. Sin notices as she gets off the couch and follows Vaggie into the office, seeing her sit on the couch where Melody would usually take a nap on.

"Hey, Vag." She greets as the girl only smiles slightly up at her. "Are you doing okay?" Sin asks as she sits beside Vaggie, she of course couldn't do much as she sighs in defeat. Sin have never seen Vaggie this sad, usually she would be full of rage and probably hunt down Alastor and kill him on the spot. Charlie must of insisted on going so much that Vaggie couldn't do anything,

"I'm just really worried for Charlie. What if something happens to her? What if she's hurt and I'm there to help her?" She mumbles on and on, Sin glances off to the side as she offers Vaggie and comforting hug which she accepted. But that was just a trick as Sin uses her Succubus abilities and looks through Vaggie's mind and feelings. She's frustrated, worried, jealous and afraid. In her mind, she kept telling herself it'll be okay because Melody is there to take care of it. Using one of her powers, Sin pulls from the hug; giving the other girl a smile.

"It's okay, I'm going there to look after her. You stay here and look after the hotel." Sin says, Vaggie's eyes are half-lidded; being hypnotized by one of Sin's powers — Flattery. Whatever Sin says, the person would agree and do anything she says. Vaggie slowly nods and suddenly her eyes closes as all od her worries flies away, the girl falls unconscious on Sin's shoulder. "I'm sorry, Vag." Sin whispers as she sets the girl carefully on the couch.

Sin stands up and walks out of the office, Vaggie would throw a fit if Sin didn't do it. It was the only way, besides; when Vaggie wakes up she won't remember a thing and all of her worries would be gone. Sin glances at Angel and Husk who's still being idiots, she sighs as she walks out the hotel and off she goes.

"Royal Flush, lovelies~" Melody smiles as she sets down her cards on the table, all the demons' jaws drops upon seeing the cards. The bidding was worth more than a million dollars but she only laughs, "It's alright, dears. Maybe next time~" She giggles as the demons scoffs at their defeat. Melody smiles as she takes away her reward, as soon as she walks away from there; she sighs.

"This is exhausting." She whispers to herself as she fixes the scarf around her arms. She fixes her posture as she turns back around to go and look for another game of gamble, she's pretty bored out of her mind right now actually. Suddenly the doors opens as the two people she been waiting for walks in, Melody quickly blends herself in a crowd playing a poker game so she wouldn't seem like a person standing on her own.

Alastor and Charlie walks in as they sits on a table a bit nearby. Melody watch the two quietly, making sure she's not staring there too often and make Alastor notice her presence. The two seem to be talking with each other, because of how loud it is in the restaurant; Melody couldn't hear a single thing.

"Hey, Heartz!" A ruff voice called out, Melody's eyes flickers up from the mentioning of her fake name. She puts on a fake smile as she holds her hip, it's one of the demons playing the gambling game. "These guys are being so fucking cocky, show them what you got!" He grins, Melody could do that but wouldn't that attract attention? Perfect, probably something her real self wouldn't do.

"Coming right over, dearest~" She giggles as she walks over, her high heels clicking on the floor as she looks on the table. "Oh? Russian Roulette?" She smiles as she picks up the gun and looks at the cards.

"Alright then, lovelies. Let's blow some brains out!" She announces as all the demons cheers, Charlie couldn't help but look their way as she looks at Melody. Of course she doesn't know who that is but looking at her makes she feels safe, the stunning big smile on her painted red lips and the shimmering glimmer on her furry coat. Makes her look like a total daydream,

"Don't pay any attention to those sinners, dear!" Alastor chuckles, Charlie jumps in surprise as she looks back at him.

"Sorry, they look like they're having fun." Charlie admits as she smiles, Alastor glances at them as he laughs.

"They sure do! Now would you really want them to leave this place and be in another place that they don't even know about?" Alastor suddenly shoots the question, catching Charlie off guard as she sighs and watch them gamble again.

"I just want them to have a second chance, being down here is so dangerous. I'll try my best to help them even if it means I'll be down here all alone." Charlie says as she smiles sadly up to Alastor, for a second; it caught himself off guard as his eyes turns lidded and his mind wonders off.

"Well, dear — fear not! I'll stay down here with you." He smiles, Charlie's cheeks flush a little bit of pink as she waves her hands around.

"W-What? No, no! I don't want you to be stuck down here." She tries to covers up her embarrassment with a nervous chuckle. Alastor smiles at her as the waiter sets down the foods they ordered before on the table.

"Whatever you say, Charming Demon Belle." He cooes as he watch Charlie smiling at the food. While she was kind of busy with the food, Alastor glances off and looks at the group of demons.

Melody chuckles as she picks up a gun from the small slot under the table, she spins the Russian Roulette as she points it to the demon in front of her.

"Don't take it to heart, okay darling?~" She chuckles as she pulls the trigger, the gunshot rings out as a bullet hits the demon straight between his eyebrows. Everybody laughs as the demon falls back from the impact but he laughs too nonetheless. There's not even a single hole on the girl, she seem to be playing well.

"Well will I finally get to shoot your pretty face, huh?" The demon chuckles. Melody picks up the cards as she crosses her left arm under her chest.

"When you're lucky enough, sweetheart." She grins at him as he laughs. Alastor blinks as he looks back at Charlie, who seem to be talking about something that he clearly didn't even hear a single thing of.

"Damn, this place is huge." Sin's mouth is agape open as she enters the restaurant. She looks around to see Charlie and Alastor sitting on a table nearby. She hides herself from them as she walks over to the gambling table. That's when she notices the tall girl, Sin couldn't help but stare at her legs.

A gunshot made Sin jump out of her skin as she notices that the girl is holding a Russian Roulette. The demon across the table from her is now on the floor,

"Victory is mine!" She cheers as she slides the Russian Roulette across the table. Everyone cheers, she laughs. "Alright, dearies~ I'm going to be by the bar." She says as she walks away, the demons waving after her. She seems like a popular bigshot in here. She sits on one of the stools as she orders a champagne. Sin walks up to her as sits on a stool beside her, the girl didn't notice her for a moment.

"Hey, mommy~" Sin flirts, Melody almost jump out of her skin upon hearing her voice. She plays it cool as her eyes narrows as turns to the girl.

'Why in the name of hell are you here, Sin?!' She mentally screams in her head as she sips her wine from the wine glass.

"Sorry, dear. I'm not attracted to a short little shit like you." Melody grins as she sets her glass on the counter. 'Sorry, Sin. Heartz really hates girls.' Melody says in her head, referring to the girl she's acting as.

"Awh, touché. Come on, babe give me a chance~" She flirts again as she moves closer, trying to use her Succubus abilities. Melody knows her Succubus abilities doesn't work on her because her soul doesn't exist inside of her, making all abilities like manipulation and brainwashing useless.

"Maybe I would, lovely." She grins at her, Sin's eye widened as she gets her hopes up.

"Oh really?" She asks, Melody scoffs and laughs like a mean bitch.

"Only if you chance that sense of fashion of yours, it's trash." She says as she sips her wine, "And dear, I think you belong in the back of the restaurant." She sets her glass on the counter as she gets closer to Sin's face and holding onto Sin's thigh for support. "Just like the trash you are." She whispers as she gets off from the stool and walks off. Sin watch as the girl leaves,

'I hope that'll make Sin leave me alone.' Heartz thought as she walks off into the crowds. But nope; Sin's eyes are widened in shock as she feels a liquid running down her lips. The girl had just nosebleed from that, did she really just used her own abilities on herself or what? That totally backfired on both of them.

Melody went back to the gambling table nearby the two as she pretends to not even look at them and eavesdropping on the two.

"—I don't know if it's possible or not but I at least want to try. Everybody deserves a chance." Charlie smiles as she seems to be more comfortable with Alastor now. 'Shit.' Melody cuss in her head, they must've of talked about something else. If only Sin wasn't there and being such a disturbance, she would've known what happened.

Alastor suddenly chuckles as Charlie's face turns a bit red from his voice,

"Then, dear.." He starts, "Would you give me a chance—?" He was cut off when the Russian Roulette shoots off. Melody is holding the gun as she had shot the demon across the gambling table, everyone was confused. She crosses her arms as she blows out the smoke from the gun's barrel.

"That filthy sinner tried to pickpocket you, dearest." She points to the demon she had just shot, everyone looks over and noticed that a male demon had indeed tried to pickpocket a female demon. "That's not a way you treat other ladies." She hiss as she throws the gun across the gambling table, it rattles and slides on the smooth table as the other demons beats him up into a pulp. Melody fixes her hair as she noticed that the two had gotten up and was about to leave,

Seems like Charlie couldn't take this place as much, there was too much violence. Alastor only agreed with her as they leave through the door, Melody's eyebrows are narrowed and she doesn't know why. She don't even know how she noticed that demon try to pickpocket, he was well hidden behind the crowds.

'Ugh, don't look at me anymore.' Melody thought in her head as she turns on her high heels and walks pit of the place, her heels clicking loudly. Sin wastes no time as she follows the tall girl, Melody stands outside as she pulls out her phone and looks through messages from Vaggie. She was interrupted as Sin plays with the taller girl's hair. Melody glares at her as she puts her phone away,

"That glare is just turning me on~" Sin says, Melody scoffs as she grabs her best friend's wrist and drags her away. "Woah! You really want me now?" Sin suddenly blurts out, the two walk a few minutes until they arrive in front of Melody's house. Sin looks up at the house and a confused look itched on her face, "What are we doing here?" She asks, Melody lets go of her wrist as she steps back.

Red puff of smokes covers the girl as she returns back to her normal height but a bit taller than Sin due to the high heels she's wearing. Her eyes turns back to its normal rich red eyes, her skin turns white and pale as her horns disappear, the girl takes out a hair tie and ties her hair. Sin's jaw drops,

"I swear to fucking Lucifer, Sin! You made my job harder!" Melody shouts as she points in her friend's face.

"Holy fuck, Mel— I didn't know it was you!" She holds her hands up in defense, her eyes couldn't help but travel back down to her legs. Melody notices this as she pulls the dress and covers her legs.

"I don't even want to know why the fuck you're there." Melody sneers as she stomps angrily into her house, probably changing into her usual clothes. Sin stood there, in front of the house; dumbfounded and shocked.
