Chapter 14- pick him up

NARRATOR'S POVNIGHT TIME

Bluey sat on her bed waiting. She knew that no one would be asleep by 7:30.

Honey and Lucky got the equipment ready on time. All Indy and Bluey had to do was to get out of their houses.

" BLUEY!!! " Chili yelled.

Bluey rushed downstairs." Yeah mum? "

" Umm,I need you to take the out The dumpster, your dad would have done it but he's busy "

" Sure, give me a sec " Bluey said as she ran upstairs.She removed all the books from her bag. She packed a flashlight and the clothes she would need. Lucky told them to find any black clothes they have to wear so they would blend in with the darkness.

She went over to Bingo's room and gave her the bag.

" What's this for? " Bingo asked.

" I'm going out " Bluey replied.

" But you can't, it's past seven, mum and dad won't let you "

" Yeah, that's why I'm sneaking out "

" What! " Bingo exclaimed. " Hold up, is a date with Mackenzie? "

" Uhh, yes " Bluey lied.

" Oh my gosh " Bingo squealed.

" I need you to pass me this bag once I reach outside, can you do that. "

" What's in it? " Bingo asked.

" A dress for the party " Bluey continued to lie hoping that Bingo would believe it.

" What party? " Bingo questioned.

" The party that Mackenzie is taking me to ughh, I'm gonna be late, so would you please just pass me the bag when it's time " Bluey pleaded

" Sure " Bingo replied.

" Thanks " Bluey said as she ran back downstairs.

She grabbed the dumpster and took it outside.Bingo looked outside the window and saw Bluey, so she threw the bag to her.Bluey caught the bag and gave Bingo a thumbs up.She then headed to school. She stopped and found a place to change into all black.Then she proceeded her journey.

She met Indy, Lucky and Honey outside the school. From the looks of it Indy just arrived but Lucky and Honey had been waiting.

" Ok now that we're all here can we proceed? " Lucky asked.

" How exactly are we supposed to climb the wall? " Indy asked.

" We'll use this rope " lucky said as he brought out the rope from his bag.

" Yeah but what exactly is the rope supposed to be tied to? " Indy asked.

" Shit " Lucky said as he realized that he didn't think about that.

" Ugh, so what now? " Bluey asked.

" Guys, come check this out " Honey said.

They went over to where she was standing.Honey pushed the gate and they were all surprised that it was open.

" I like the fact that it's open but I hate the fact that it's open " Lucky said.

" What do you mean? " Bluey asked.

" Well, now that it's open, we have easy access to enter but on the other hand it means that someone opened it, so that means someone's in there " Lucky stated.

" Well, there's only one way to find out " Bluey said as she took the first step into the school and the rest of them followed.

They all brought out their flashlights and turned it on.

" We need to be quiet " Lucky demanded.

" Current time; 7:30 " Honey said quietly.

" We have to check around the school, in case anyone is here " Lucky said. " Indy and Bluey you guys head East, Honey and I will head west. Lucky stated

" Ok " Bluey and Indy replied.

Bluey and Indy headed towards the Cafeteria. As they got closer, they began to hear noises coming from inside.

Indy got really scared and began to tremble. " Bluey, I'm scared "

" Don't worry, we're just gonna get Jean luc and get out, we'll be fine " Bluey assured her.

They entered Into the cafeteria and flashed their lights all around the room.The noises seemed to be coming from behind the counter.

The two girls went closer to the counter. They hoped it was just a rat looking for food.

A light flashed on their faces from behind the counter and They SCREAMED.

" Please don't kill us " Bluey pleaded.

" Bluey, Indy, what are you guys doing here? " The mysterious figure said.

Indy then flashed her light on his face only for the two girls to realize that it was their friend, the janitor, Jayden.

" Jay, what are you doing here? " Indy asked.

" I work night shifts, so I'm bound to be here " he replied. " What about you guys? " He asked.

" Umm... we're here because...uhh- " Indy got interrupted by someone barging into the cafeteria.

" Yo, Jay-Jay, have you got the food "

Bluey and Indy turned to see it was an unfamiliar face.

" Yo, who are you guys? " He asked.

" We could ask you the same question " Bluey stated.

" I'm Michael, Mike for short. I'm Jay-Jay's friend " He replied. " Who are you guys? " He asked.

" They're students of the school " Jayden responded.

" Hold up, what food? " Indy asked.

" It's nothing " Jayden replied.

Another person barged in.

" Jay, Mike, get this, I just found a hundred dollar bill on the floor, how cool is that " he said then realized that Jay and Mike weren't the only people in the room. " Who are they, and why are they dressed in Black? " He asked.

" Oh, I get it. You guys come here in the night to scavenge for food and other things." Indy said.

" No we don't " Mike said.

" Oh and you guys come here at night to get sneak peeks of tests questions, or to change your scores " the other guy said.

" No we don't " Bluey replied.

" Exactly " the guy said.

" Who are you anyway? " Indy asked.

" I'm Kevin, nice to meet you " he replied.

" Since there's nothing here let's go " the Indy said to Bluey.

Honey and Lucky went upstairs and looked in all the classes.

" You'll go check the Biology lab and I'll check the Chemistry lab " Lucky said.

" Sure " Honey replied as she went towards the Biology lab.She flashed her light all over the room and saw that it was normal. She decided to leave since there was nothing unusual about it but something caught her eye; it was a bag more like a suitcase. For some reason she didn't notice it before; probably because it was dark and everything would seem strange.She quickly called Lucky to come over.Lucky ran there and she showed him her observation.

They both went closer to it and opened it only to find out that it was their beloved friend Jean luc who was unconscious in that bag.
