Chapter 13- Jack

JACK

I caught up with Rusty and I could tell he is very angry.

" Rusty, what's wrong? " I asked.

" Nothing " He replied.

" Are you sure? " I asked.

" For the Last time, NOTHING IS WRONG WITH ME " He yelled.

Yep. Something is definitely wrong with him.

I wanted to tell Rusty about how I was ' feeling ' but Rusty might not be the best person to talk to.

Mackenzie met up with us. Maybe I should talk to him, he seems more chill.I'm going for it.

" Hey Mackenzie, can I talk to you about something? " I asked.

" Jack, please, not right now " he said sadly

" Yeah, ok " I replied.Well, that didn't work. Mackenzie probably has issues of his own.

So, there's only one person left, Lucky.Lucky's a smart guy but I'm not sure he's intelligent when it comes to matters of the heart.

I went to meet Lucky, for some reason he was behind the school. He was alone just sitting there.

" Hey Lucky " I said as I approached him.

" Hey Jack " he replied. " What do you want? "He asked.

" Can I talk to you about something? " I asked.

" Uhh, sure "he replied.

Here goes nothing.

" So, umm, something's really bothering me " I said

" Ok, what is it? " he asked.

" Well, I was normal before-" he interrupted me.

" Hold up, was? " He questioned.

" Yeah, Then Bluey and Indy told me about Honey and now I don't know how I feel anymore. " I said.

" Did you really think that coming to me was the best idea? " he asked.

" No, but you were the last option " I replied.

" Ok, I'm just gonna ask, Do you like Honey as more than friends? " He asked

That's the question I didn't ever want to hear. I'm not sure if I do. I didn't until Indy said she she liked me. I never thought a girl would actually like me.

" Umm, maybe , I don't know " I replied.

" Well, let me tell you this. You really like Honey " Lucky said

What!. No. Maybe I like her a little but not that much.

" Why would you say that? " I asked.

" Cuz when I asked you, you didn't say no- " I interrupted him

" But I didn't say yes either " I stated.

" I know but, if you had said no then it would have been confirmed that you don't like her like that, but you didn't so that proves my point " Lucky said.

No way. I don't think I like her like that.

" Ok, let's assume I like her, what should I do? " I asked.

" I don't know, maybe you should ask someone else about this " Lucky suggested.

" Ok, who should I ask? " I asked.

" Uhh, I don't know maybe- " we got interrupted by someone.

" Lucky, I've checked and the gym, they have ropes "

We both looked and saw it was Honey.HONEY!!!. Why?, Why here? And why now?.I am not emotionally stable for this. To think, she actually likes me. What does she even see in me.

" O-oh, hey Jack , umm... what are you doing here? " She asked while slowly backing away.

I've never really noticed how cute she looks with those glasses on.Aaaagghhhhhh!!!What am I even thinking about.I've got to get out of here before I do or say something stupid.

" Nothing " I said as I literally ran away.

Too late.Well at least if see ever asks why I ran away, I could just say that I didn't want to get hit in the head with a spanner.That kinda makes sense.

Besides, what are Lucky and Honey doing behind the school together.

None of my business. I shouldn't focus on what Honey does.

Ok, maybe Lucky was right, I really like Honey.

Noooooooo!!!. That's not possible I can't admit it.

I got hit in the head by Honey just today and now I think I'm in love with her.No way, I'm probably just delusional.

I went back to meet Mackenzie and Rusty who still seems angry. I wish we had classes so I wouldn't have to deal with this.

" Hey Jack " Rusty said.

" Where have you been? " Mackenzie asked.

I got yelled at by my best friend when I was just trying to help and my other best friend didn't want to talk to me but now they're asking me where I was, what a life.

" I was with Lucky since you guys didn't want to help" I said.

" Help with what? " Mackenzie asked

" Nothing " I replied.I don't need their help since I've figured it out.I. don't. like. Honey. We. are. just. friends.

But do I want to be more than just friends?

No!. Absolutely not.Just friends and that's it.

" Jack, you were with Lucky right? " Rusty asked.

" Yeah " I responded. I wonder why he's asking me that after I've already told them that I was with Lucky.

" Was he with Indy? " He asked.

Should have seen that one coming.

" No " I replied. He should just talk to her and clear the air.

" Ok " he said.

" I didn't see you when I went to look for you " Mackenzie said

" You went to look for me? "I asked.

" Yeah Rusty told me to, so you wouldn't get lost " Mackenzie said as he chuckled.

" What!, do you guys think I'm a baby? " I asked.

" Yeah, you kinda act like one " Rusty said.

" Says the guy who gets angry cuz he got rejected " I said. Take that. " Actually I saw Bluey and Indy, they were talking to a guy " I said

" Talking to A guy? " Rusty asked.

" More like flirting " I added. Why did I do that?

" FLIRTING? " They both asked.

What have I done.

" WHO? " Rusty yelled.

" I think it's the Janitor " I replied.

" Ugh the Janitor " Rusty said. " I hate that guy "

" The school has a janitor? " Mackenzie asked.

" Yeah, some hotshot guy, he thinks he's Soo cool, ugh " Rusty said.

" Where are they now? " Mackenzie asked.

" I don't know " I replied.

" Whatever " Rusty said.

The bell rang and Finally it was time to go home.

Rusty, Mackenzie and I went outside.I looked for Lucky. He was still with Honey, Bluey and Indy.I wonder why they are always together.

We all went into the Bus and soon later we I was dropped at home.

Can't wait for the weekend.
