Epilogue

He watched them from the door of their bedroom and couldn't resist filming them on his phone and the beautiful sight before him of CeCe lying on their bed with their 3 days old son Antonio, it was good to finally get them home this morning from the hospital and have them where they belonged with him and now that their families and Urbana and Phil had left he had them all to himself.

She couldn't take her eyes off her son and still couldn't believe that this beautiful, healthy baby was here, she had never felt more happy or such a sense of fulfillment that she now had since giving birth 3 days ago.

She was tired and sore but the joy of having her and Bruno's son in her arms made that fade into oblivion.

She saw Bruno out the corner of her eye fiming them with his phone again which he had been doing since the nurse had cleaned, weighed, dressed and placed their son into her arms in the hospital, CeCe shakes her head and tells him put it away babe and come sit with us.

I have to say sitting here with you 2 is better than filming you both Bruno says making CeCe smile and she replies well i'd rather have you here beside us than standing behind your phone filming us babe isn't that right Antonio we just want daddy beside us.

I am and will always be here with you and for you both, I love you both so much baby Bruno replies and he kisses CeCe and kisses Antonio's head as she hands their son to him to hold.

He looks the spitting image of you babe he's going to be a heart breaker just like you CeCe tells Bruno.

He gets that little crease in between his eyes when he's not happy just like you baby Bruno replies.

I have to tell you at first you are going to think girls are horrible but when you get older Antonio that will change trust me son and I want you to remember this, always treat girls with respect, they are crazy and it's better if you just smile, nod and agree with them because they are always right well at least they think they are and if your lucky son you'll find a girl who is like your amazing mommy, who is always right of course.

She couldn't stop laughing at Bruno's advice to their son and as she holds their sons hand she replies mommy IS always right Antonio and your daddy is a crazy man, he's a hooligan but he has a heart of gold and he's ours and I wouldn't change him for the world, I love you both to bits.

I have a feeling that his first word is going to be daddy and his first sentence going by his appetite which he obviously gets from me will be i'm hungry now feed me mommy Bruno tells CeCe making her laugh.

I think you're right about his first sentence but his first word is going to be mommy and his second will be daddy isn't that right Antonio, CeCe replies.

He can see CeCe is tired and Bruno says why don't you have a nap baby i'll take care of our little guy.

She kisses Bruno and their son and lies down beside them and falls asleep smiling as she listens to Bruno give their son advice about fashion.

He watches CeCe as she sleeps and looks at her and wonders how did he get so lucky he had heard and been told about how hormonal and crazy women could get when they are pregnant but CeCe hadn't she had embraced it and loved it, he had been the crazy 1 while she had been pregnant wanting to take her to the hospital when she had indigestion or when the baby had been kicking her like mad and not wanting her to do any damn thing but she had talked him down every time calmly and made him see sense again, well until the next time he thought smiling.

He had never felt this unconditional love that he feels for his son and he had even more respect if that was possible for CeCe who had been in labor for 20 hours, she was incredible and he was looking forward to raising their son together, watching him grow and see the person he'd become, Bruno's goal was to be the best dad he could be and the best man he could be for CeCe he loved her more than words could say.

He was happier than he had ever felt in his life and whispers to Antonio maybe in a year or 2 me and your mommy will give you a baby sister or brother but lets keeps that between us for now son we'll let her in on the plan nearer the time and while mommy is resting lets get practicing your first word which is going to be daddy.
