Luke

05:18, 21 December 2020

Camp finished, and luckily no one apart from the guys knew of my midnight visit to them. Or if they did, a deal wasn't made out of it. I fear that the guys have been told off for it and they haven't told me, but that suspicion is not furthered by anything other than my mind.

Just as it was when we arrived, leaving was uneventful. I was expecting to find out if I was accepted into the Academy then and there, but camp ended and we packed up and left without so much as an acknowledgment. I had been pulled into a meeting with them, where they asked about the guys and whether I was happy with them, and I had just stared back at them in disbelief. Their marks were on me, how could I not be happy with them? When I left, I met Mr. Blackbourne outside and asked him what his opinion, thinking he would be the one to know the most about what the Academy thought on me, but he knew as much as I, or so he said. The guys seemed to be in the same boat, and I wonder if they had pinned their hopes on the camp changing things as well. The redeeming factor was that I was included in the activities, and not turned away, so they must have accepted me somewhat. Either way, I was just thankful to be returned to the guys as promised. Hopefully, by answering their questions, I'll never be separated from the guys again.

I slept most of the car ride home, and waking up this morning was a surprise, not sure who I was with, and where I am. The smell of sweets and vanilla was the first thing I was aware of, and I didn't even need to open my eyes to know, at least, who I was with. Where I was doesn't matter.I open my eyes to find Luke lying on his side, facing me, his jaw slack. I admire his model-like features until he lets out a light snore. I stifle a giggle, pressing my face into the pillow.

Once I've composed myself, I lift my face from the pillow and look around the room. I'm not only with him, but the room we're in belongs to Luke as well. I've stayed here only a couple of times. Whenever I'm here, I remember the first time, and the wolf scratching my face. It was what started the end for Volto, and as a result, I feel a calmness here. North doesn't like me staying, due to the fact of it being a building site, but I trust their workmanship and doubt it'll fall down. The scratch didn't leave a mark, much to Gabriel's appreciation, and healed quite quickly.

I return my head to the pillow and find Luke's eyes are open and watching me. I smile, and he returns it crossing his eyes.

"Morning, Cupcake." I giggle. His eyes light up. and he sits up in bed. He looks to the alarm clock on his bedside table, and then back at me. He falls onto me dramatically. "North and Uncle will be at the diner now, so you know what that means..."

I get his meaning instantly without having to look into his mind. "Chocolate pancakes!" we cheer at the same time. I sit up abruptly in bed, but before I can even think about sliding my feet out of the covers, Luke scoops me up and places me over his shoulder. He races out of the room, and with every bounce, on his shoulder, a giggle falls out of my lips and I'm a second closer to wetting myself.

"Luke!" I cry through giggles as we descend the stairs.

"What, pumpkin?" he asks, hitting me on the thigh to stop me from wriggling.

"I'm going to wet myself," I tell him, dragging in breaths between giggles. I continue to wriggle, and when we're on the ground floor he lets me down, and I run toward the bathroom.

Once I've relieved myself, I come into the kitchen to find Luke reading the back of a box, with an array of ingredients scattered on the counter in front of him. He tucks a strand of hair behind his ear, his eyes flying up to meet mine. A grin stretches his face.

I walk closer to him perusing the ingredients. I notice the bag of chocolate chips and snatch them up.

"You can be IC chocolate chip distribution. I need to know I can trust you with this monumental task," he says, pointing the spatula he picked up at me. I grin, nodding.

"You can trust me."

"I knew I could. Don't be a North. Two chocolate chips is not an adequate amount."He sets about mixing the batter, and to watch him, I push up to sit on the counter. I've opened the bag in my lap and periodically take one out to make sure they're worthy of being in the pancake. Luke sidles over and opens his mouth expectantly.

Every time he'll move further away from me, and every time I try and throw it into his mouth. Luke has done well so far at getting them all in.

Instead of moving further back for this chocolate chip, Luke stands between my legs, opening his mouth. When I offer him one, he wraps his lips around my fingertips, his tongue flicking against them, pulling it into his mouth. I gasp, looking into his cheeky eyes. He pulls back before anything more can happen.

"Right, Pumpkin, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but we need to stop eating the chocolate chips..."

"Luke!" I exclaim, faking outrage. His eyes get brighter at me playing along with him.

"I know, I know, but we need some for the pancakes."

"True," I agree. I jump down from the counter and move to the pan. Luke adds a circle of the mixture to the pan, and I grab a handful of the chocolate chips, sprinkling them over the whole of the pancake.

"More," Luke whispers, moving behind me, his arms coming to either side of my body. I giggle and follow his suggestion. I add the same amount into the next one, but this time I try and sprinkle them into a heart.

I can feel the warmth emanating off of Luke behind me, and he bends his head down into the crook of my neck. He sniffs deeply.

"Nice," he comments, and I'm not sure if he's talking about my heart or my smell.

He presses his lips against the spot he's resting against, and I shudder. The vanilla coming from Luke makes a hunger arise in me. I can't say all of it is for the pancakes in front of me.

Luke pulls back from my neck, reaching for the spatula on the counter next to me. He wraps his arms around me to get to the pan and flips the pancakes over. Once he has, he wraps his arms tighter around me, pulling me back into him. He returns his head back down to the spot he left to flip the pancakes. He kisses it thrice, and all I can do in return is run my fingers up and down his arms around me. I want to do more, so I twist in his arms. Luke lifts his head to allow me to turn, and one of his hands moves off of me, going to the hob behind me.

He squeezes me even tighter when he's turned it off, and before his head can return to the same spot, I push up onto my tiptoes, pressing a light kiss to his lips. I pull back, nervous I did something he didn't want, but I'm not concerned for long. He pulls his hands from behind my back, instead, cradling my face with them.

I'm ready for his lips when they meet mine, and he just presses his lips to mine harshly for a moment, before he starts to move them. I follow his lead, and I'm not even aware of being pushed into the counter behind. His tongue swipes my lips, and I gasp, breathing heavily.

"You taste like chocolate," he says, taking another lick at my lips.

I lick him back "So do you." I giggle, and Luke smiles back at me.

"I've waited for this moment ever since I met you, and you will not believe how mad I was that Gabe stole you away when we rescued you from the tent, and then we weren't able to steal a moment together again."

"We're alone now," I say, and I'm unsure what I mean by it. I want him to mark me, that's not even a question, and will he think that's what I meant. Is that what I meant?

Luke grins. "We are."

The hunger I felt earlier hasn't disappeared, and now with the prospect of marking him, and him marking me on the horizon, it grows into something I can't control. My canines descend, but I don't act yet.

Luke lifts a hand to my cheek, his finger brushing under my eye.

"You're gorgeous."

"You are too," I counter, and a slight blush comes to his cheeks.

"Why thank you!" he says, and I giggle. His smile widens, and seeing his handsome face staring at me in adoration makes me feel warm, like his chocolate brown eyes.

"I love you, Sang," he says, his face growing serious. I still see the cheeky boy who threw water on me the first day we met under all the seriousness, and it makes me love him even more. I never want him to lose that person. I never want to lose him.

"I love you, Luke."

"More than chocolate chip pancakes?" he asks, the cheeky boy coming back.

"More than chocolate chip pancakes," I affirm.

"Me too," he says, nestling his head in the crook of my neck again. He kisses along my shoulder, stopping above my collar bone. He lifts a finger to pull down on my shirt, which is in fact Luke's, exposing the bare flesh ready for his bite. I gasp, being just as ready as my body is. He pauses, and I groan in frustration. Luke chuckles into my shoulder, pulling back for only enough time to get his shirt over his head, and an invite to bite him wherever I want to. I don't get enough time to appreciate his body, because soon he's back up against me. When he nestles into the same spot on my shoulder, I don't have much option other than his neck. My nose presses against the spot I've chosen, wondering if he tastes as he smells. Will he taste like cake? I salivate at the thought, and without communicating, we both bite at the same time.

Luke keeps me up with a firm hold on my arms, and I appreciate it because as soon as my teeth sink into his neck my knees feel like they're going to go weak. Luke's bite is soft and tender, well, as soft and tender as a bite can be.

His smell surrounds me, and it makes me confused as to whether I'm imagining the sweet taste I'm getting from him due to that. His bite makes me feel warm and comforted, and it must be knowing that I only have three of them left after this that makes me feel excited. His sweetness is overwhelming, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Luke without sweetness wouldn't be Luke. And me with Luke, now wouldn't be Sang.

Luke grunts against me, pulling back. His eyes are lit up with happiness as he looks my face over.

"Can we do that again?" he asks, his chest slightly dewy from a sweat. Did I do that to him, or had he been holding back? Maybe if he did it again, I would find out.

I want to agree, but my stomach rumbling has us both laughing and agreeing we should probably have the chocolate chip pancakes we were starting to make.

Here you go! I hope you liked it! I'm sorry for the delay, I've found myself busier than I thought I would be over the last week (it's always the case before Christmas! I have more to do than I think - although there's nothing special happening this year due to circumstances).  The next part will be up tomorrow. It was originally meant to be up today, but I haven't quite finished it yet.

How are you celebrating Christmas this year?

What did you think?

I think we all know who's going to be next, how do you think it will happen?

Thanks for reading, voting, commenting, sharing, and following!
