'I am Not sure if  this plan will  work  out even she herself don't know, still.. I am  Doing as she says.. I am not bothered by this.. I am more concerned about her.. Isn't this a super bad idea for her to do..?  I hope she will be alright.. I shouldn't have listened to her and somehow made her agreed to cancel this plan but what's happened  is  the opposite... Haah.. ' lucas sighed as she drove the car

An hour ago.....

"what do you mean take back...?"

" if it's jennete I can guess where she would have placed that file... I am Not sure if it will  work but we can atleast give it a  try right..? "

"so what you are saying is you can guess the place the file was and we can go steal it..?" lucas asked surprised

"hey... What do you mean steal.. We are just taking back what ours I am not sure   how she is right now, since it's been so long but if she didn't changed much we can get the file... I am sure she places it inside house should we try it out..?" she asked with a exciting eyes

" no " lucas gave a instant reply

" aww.. Come on lucas.. Let's try.. Hm... Please.. What if  I am right..? We can easily Solve this don't you think..?  Please say yes.. Please... " athy asked with  puppy eyes

" I am not saying no for your idea.. we can try if it was any other place but you are talking about the place you grew up did you forget? "

"  of course I remember.. How can I forget.. But you are there  with me right..? then I will Be okay.. trust me.. I really want to Help You lucas.. Please "

She pleaded with puppy eyes and lucas can't able resist it anymore than that  and he soon give in.

" f.. Fine.. But if you feel uncomfortable we are getting out of that place right away "

" fine fine.. Let's go "

Back to present..

'haah.. I should get immune to that puppy eyes as soon as possible..' he thought and turned to see athy was deep in thoughts '

Is she okay..? '

" sia... What are you thinking about? "

" hmm.. No matter how much I think. About it.. It wasn't right" she mumbled.

"huh.. What was..?"

"jennete.. Even if she studied in abroad I can bet she can't able to Sketch all this plan...even if you want  to be evil that also need  some brain  you know being evil means they have to be brilliant and I am Sure she wasn't that smart to do all this.. I am Sure someone is helping her out.. I think the one you say.. A spy in your company.. I feel like it's her accomplice not spy.. Am I overthinking..? "

"  may be they are.. Is she that dumb..?  Yeah..  I also first thought  she was but I was quite surprised when she started annoying me.. I thought she had separate brain for doing evil things " lucas replied.

" haha... No lucas.. She doesn't  have brain to talk in the first place.. I think  If you find out her accomplice.. it's easy to kick her out of our life.. If she lost her idea bank.. Her  own dumbness will kill her " athy shrugged..

"  is that so..? Then I want to find them quick so that we can live in peace  "lucas mumbled.

" lucas stop the car here "

" huh.. We reached..? "

" nope.. but I know a secret way come let's go " athy said as she opened the car door.

" sia... wait.. careful "

lucas rushed out of the car to catch up to her.. Athy stood in front of the wall and stared at it intently. Lucas looked at her dumbfounded

" what are you doing..? "  he finally asked can't able to contain it anymore .

"haah found it, lucas let's go"

she said as she grabbed his hand and walked closer to the wall.

"sia.. we are gonna hi.."  before he finish his sentence they were on the other side.. The wall had a secret door as same colour of the wall without a knob.

"wow.. What is this..?" lucas whispered

"it's thrilling right..? I found it when I was playing near here.. It was made by the watchman uncle.. the workers here made this shortcut to take rest in secret without getting caught   " athy whispered back.

" who is that..?" they turned hearing a  faint voice  to see a old man squeezing his eyes to see who is the intruders with his torch.

" uncle.. It's me athy.. "athy talked in a low voice and the Oldman stared  at her in disbelief..

" wha.. Little madam is that really you..? Hoho... You grown up so well huh..? " he said with a happy smile..

" and you grown old uncle.. How are you..? " she said smiling and walking towards him.

"hoho...   you are all grown up  that it's  reminding   me  I am Getting older.. I am. Fine.. how are you..?  How is lily madam..?" he asked with a warm smile..

"I am Fine.. She is doing fine.." she said with a smile.

"hoo.. Who is this handsome boy beside you..?" he asked scanning lucas from head to foot. Lucas who was scanning thier surrounding finally  turned towards the old man

"  uncle.. this is Lucas.. My husband"

"lucas.. he is the watchman uncle who made that door" she whispered to lucas.

"oh.. You are married congratulations dear... Please take good care of our little madam" he told lucas with  kind eyes.

Lucas smiled and bowed to him.

"yeah I will" he said back.

"uncle.. Is jennete inside..?"

"yeah she is.. She came back at the beginning of this year and as usual making others life difficult but what are you doing here  at night ?" the oldman asked.

"hmm.. We are  here take back our  stuff " she said and grinned.

"I see.. go that way... and turn  to the right... she was in this room.. You can...." the old man told her the  current layout of the house.

They thanked him and went in the direction as he told..

"he looks like a good man" lucas mumbled.

"yeah everyone working  here was appointed by my mom when she was alive they are all  good people" she said with a smile. Lucas grabbed her shoulder and walked carefully looking around they reached the  room in the first floor.

"lucas.. That is the hall and that.. " athy whispered  and shown him places inside tha houses   and he looked around with a nod .

Lucas stopped walking and stared  at something in awe.. Athy turned around to see what he was seeing and chuckled.

"that is my mom.. She is so beautiful  like a  fairy right..? "

"you"

"Huh? "

"you are carbon copy of your mother sia.. Only your eyes are different.. I thought it was you until  I saw that eyes" lucas whispered still looking at the big portrait hanging in the wall amazed.

"hehe.. Yes.. Everyone say this when I was child.. I realised it's  true growing up looking myself in the  mirror  she was same age as me now in that photo" she whispered and lucas hummed while taking snaps of the portrait in his mobile.

"let's go.. I think it will be here" she said as she grabbed his hand and dragged him inside a room which looked like a mini office inside the house.

"wow this place is crazy.."  lucas whispered as he saw the piles of documents stacked in the shelfs.

"lucas if my guess was right she would have placed the file inside this locker" athy whispered pointing a huge locker. Lucas carefully approached the locker.

His hands stopped midway as sudden realisation hit him. 'wait... what am I doing here.. I am trying to open  someone else locker' he thought and sighed.

"what are you doing..? quick... Open and search.." athy nudged him while looking out for people passing by.

"sia... How can I open without knowing password..? I am not a magician to open it as I wish  you know.. " lucas whispered back.

"sorry I forgot to tell you.. It's diana"  athy whispered.

"huh..?"

"the password.. It's diana" she said in a low voice.

Lucas pressed the letters and the door opened he was surprised and looked back to see her looking around with a lost puppy face.

'pfft..cute..' he smiled and turned back athy noticed the door was open and squatted down beside him..

"did you find it..?" she whispered.

"nope i didn't searched" he whispered.

"then where  the hell you were looking at..? Search.. Quick "  she hit him on his shoulder.

"if you can't find the file take anything that looks valuable" she whispered

"huh.. Why..?" he asked stupified by her statement.

"files in this locker are most  important one.. She will be screwed if he knows something from this locker  went  missing we can blackmail her with that and exchange it for your file" 

she whispered looking around with a innocent face. Lucas stared at her   surprised and shocked at the same time.

"wow I am surprised it's coming from you, I don't know you have this  evil side to you sia.. Pfft... That's so cool"  he whispered chuckling.

"of course.. I won't stand still if anyone mess with my loved ones.."

she whispered and his heart skipped a beat.  '  I know I already love her but why I feel  like I am falling for her again..? You are the best thing happen in my life sia.. ' he thought and  stared at her with a lovely smile plastered on his face.

" what..? Why are you staring at me..? search quickly  lucas.. I think someone is coming this way"

she whispered as she nudged him looking around . He opened every file and he froze when he accidentally read the content in a  certain file.

"is it there..?"

he came back to his senses when he heard her voice and put that file down he searched again and his lips curved into a smile in happiness.

"sia.. It's really here.. I found it.. The original  contract file.."

he whispered turning back with a bright smile.

"really.. Thank God.. I know she wouldn't have  changed .. that dummy.. Since you got it let's go lucas.." 

she carefully  locked  it back  and  grabbed his hand. When they was about to exit  they heard foot steps. Lucas grabbed athy's hand tight and they  hid behind the large closet nearby.

" now.. How.. "

" shhh"

lucas shushed  her before she  complete  her sentence by putting his finger on her lips and she went quiet. His Ruby eyes peeked out  of the closet to see who's that.. Athy  stared at him without blinking her eyes .. They were inch apart and he is holding her between his arms safely.. The curtain beside them blowed in the wind and moonlight hit his face.. Thankfully thier hiding position didn't left shadow since the  other side is too dark to notice their shadows . Athy stared at him and   started to blush.. 'He is  glowing  in the moonlight.. his fierce gaze.. black shirt  that matches  his hair.. his perfect jawline.. That eye-catching mole under his eye.. everything about him was attractive.. God!! Thank you for giving such a hot husband' she thought and giggled until realisation hit her  ..

'wait.. what am I doing..? We are in the middle of theft .. I mean it wasn't theft since it's his in the first place   but  the way we are retrieving it  may look like that .. Well  if the theif was this hot  any girl  will let him go right..?' she thought and giggled then  she went silent  all of  sudden.. her face turned expressionless ..

' But.. Why...? Why it has to be her.. She have everything I once had.. Why she always desire for  my things. I am. Okay with giving up The life I lived here but... I won't give her  my husband  '

she thought and  he grabbed his shirt tight without knowing herself .

"are you okay?" lucas whispered looking down at her with a concerned face

"huh.. ?..  Yeah I am.. anyway  Who is that..?"

she whispered back trying to change the topic so he won't notice.

"who else..? that wench .. She was talking with someone I think.. But I can't see who it is.." he whispered his eyes glued to them

"then.. let's try to go there we can see and hear clearly from there" she said pointing the next closet  

" what if we Get  caught..?" he whispered

"wait" she said as she took the paper weight in table beside her and throw it on the other side. They turned hearing the thud sound, athy and lucas used that time to change their hiding place and each hide behind a big book shelf  .

"what is that sound..?" kiel asked , lucas brows narrowed hearing that voice.

"may be some cat.. it often happens.. leave that" jennete shrugged.

"OK.. Show me  the document as you said nothing went as you planned.. I feel  like I wasted my time giving you ideas and working with you.. You better do this well this time.." he said in a annoyed tone.

"ijekiel...stop it.. I am already pissed about everything happened I am olny tolerating you since you helped me in my plans"  

they started fighting after that and  lucas and athy peeked out trying to get a view

"you are right sia.. Thanks  to you I  found the blacksheep this quick" lucas whispered with a irritated face.

"  yeah.. it seems like he is the one.. But Di you know him..?".

Athy whispered back she tried to see who it is but she can't because the shelf in front her hide his view  lucas grabbed  athy's hand  and took her out and they carefully left the office room  without them  noticing. athy talked with the watchman for a while  who came all the way inside to take them out safely.

Lucas was standing there looking zoned out.  When she was about to leave a certain room catched her attention.. Her heart beated fast and she felt cold all over her body.. Her hands trembled.. 'no athy.. You should stay strong.. Let's get out of here first..' she thought but her body refused to move.

"sia.. Are you okay..?.. Let's go"

lucas said as he grabbed her hand.. She suddenly felt warm her body finally listened to her and moved  she held his hand tightly and walked  outside . Lucas stared at her confused but took her out fast instinctively.

"sia... I will stop by  the office to see felix after dropping you at home" lucas said his eyes fixed on the road driving.

"alright" athy said with a slight smile which she forced to do. She closed her eyes pretending to sleep so lucas won't notice. When they reached home she get off from the car quickly and waved bye to him.

"athy.. Where the hell  did you two went ..?  Look at the time  do you know how many times we called you two?" lily shouted as soon as she saw her entering.

"ohh sorry lily I put my phone on silent.. I am tired I will Explain everything tomorrow okay..? Sorry... Are you waiting for me..? Please go to bed it's already late"

she said as she hugged lily and planted  a kiss on her cheek. She smiled sheepishly to cover up her shivering.

"yeah.. You too go to bed.." lily said patting her head.

"where... is.. my baby..?" 

she sang while walking towards helly 's room. She  saw atheia coming out of the room walking in her knees.. She ram towards her and  carried  her in her arms.

" atheia... Baby.. Did you miss me... Hmm...?" she hugged her and planted kisses all over her face.. Atheia giggled at her mom's love shower.

"okay okay get inside she refused to sleep and kept  waiting for you.. Don't wear out your  daughter " helly said as she pushed the mother daughter duo into   thier room.

" yeah helly good night"

she said and closed the door. She put athiea  on bed and patted her  slowly.. Her hands trembled she stopped patting and Sat there looking down and sighed..

'come on athy.. It's in the past it's all over now.. You are okay now.. There are people who want you now.. Just forget it..' she told to herself tears dribbled down her cheeks.

'I don't want to  be weak like this.. Crying over  something happened in the past.. Why did I remembered everything after seeing that room...? Come on athy try to be strong..' she kept telling herself but tears didn't stopped from rolling down.

Athiea Sat up and stared at her crying mom silently.. Her small hands reached her lap and  tappep  her . athy turned towards her still Crying..

' athiea.. You won't  like your mommy to  be  weak like this right..? ' she thought and caressed her head.

"ma.. Ba.. Ma.."

atheia said looking at her.  Athy kept  caressing her head but stopped when she hear  what she said next .. Her eyes got filled with tears but this time it's happy tears.. She carried athiea in her arms and hugged her tight.

"what did you say just now..? Atheia... Please say it again hmm... Please.." she said looking at her daughter 's eyes which  reflected the same eyes  as hers in front of her ..

"ma.. Mama.."

atheia said with her small palms touching her mothers' s cheeks.

Athy  forget about everything else . all  she  can think of was the words her daughter said just now.. She kissed her all over the face and smiled at her.. a smile Brighter than sunrays..

" maamaa... Mama.." athiea said cupping  her mother's face like how her mother  always  do to her.

" yes.. It's me .. Mama loves you.. Loves you so much.." she said and athiea giggled.

Athy stared  at her with a warm smile.. 'thank you for being born as my daughter.. Your smile is  just enough to wash away all my worries..thank you for calling out for me when  I was falling into that deep pit of  past trauma.. You are my present.. A present God give me so that I will cherish the present and forget my past.. 'she thought and giggled along with her. She heard the  sound of  door opening  and turned  back to see lucas standing there  looking at them confused. His eyes widened after seeing her face and he rushed towards the bed and Sat beside her.

"what happen..? are you okay..?  Did  you cry..?  I was confused why you two are giggling this late  at night instead of sleeping.. But you cried..?" lucas asked nervously.

"lucas.. See this.." athy said  in hypermood  and  turned to atheia.

" athiea..." she called her name sweetly.

"ma.. Mama.." she said back  in a cute voice.. She turned towards lucas smiling brightly like thousand watts bulb.. Lucas stared  at his daughter wide eyed in surprise..

"did she just..?" he asked and athy nodded her head vigorously as a yes..

"I was so happy after hearing that  I ended up crying.." she said with a sheepish smile and lucas sighed in relief.

"atheia.. Dear.."  she called her again and she again replied with a

"mama"

athy  she started laughing happily. Lucas stared at the two for a while.

'pftt... why you two are so cute ..? ' he thought watching the two and his lips curved into a smile .
