Chapter 21

Ijekiel walked to his room and Sat on the sofa while he called jennete..

"hello.. Kiel you are back already..?"

" first answer me jenny.. What the hell Happened  to your plan and what lucas is doing..?" kiel lashed out interrupting her. There was silence no reply from the other side..

"hey I am talking to you.. are you there?"

"it's all got wasted and he is married now even had a child.. Are you happy now that  you heard your answer?"  he heard jennete voice which sounded like She talked  while gritting her teeth

"what.. Married..? even child..? Hahaha so you got wasted I see.."

"kiel.. If you are in front of me now I would have  definitely killed you"

"OK ok my bad.. What  do you expect me to  do then..?  Console you..? Or congratulate him..? What about me.. Did you forget what we agreed on..? Our plan is I cooperate with you so that you can have lucas I can screw his career but it  looks like he is living damn happy right now".

" haah.. What did I expect from you..  selfish jerk.. Don't worry.. I may failed in my plan but don't you know me..? Now I am determined  to screw his life just like you.. I already started my work.." jennete shrugged in the other side

"huh.. What do you mean..?" kiel asked confused at the same time excited

" don't you know..? you two are in the same company though ..?   Whatever... I.. stole the copyrights for lucas 's new album so he is now in a big mess..hahaha"

"what..?.. really...?"

"if  you don't believe me come and see me tonight I will Show you"  jennete sneered in the other side..

"I will come" kiel said and ended the call.. He lied down on the sofa and let out a big sigh..

"haah I am excited.." he mumbled and closed his eyes.

'when I was young.. i was determined to become a singer and everyone around me admired me saying I look cute and gentle my voice is sweet and my father did whatever I want but his condition for that was.. I have to be popular when I grew up.. I was already a fame guy from my birth..I thought no one can beat me  until he appeared in my life ...lucas.

Lucas and I went to same high school  to be exact I was the one transferred to his school.. Like I Expected I got famous there too, my high school life was like I predicted until I started to notice him.. He was always silent and hang out with his only friend till now.. Cabel.. True friends they are.. I was curious  about him since he is so handsome and most girl swoon over him but he is so cold  to approach..

I Hated it when girls compared me to him in thier silly fantasies but I always convince myself saying he was just a nobody only have a good face but when I went to clg .. He was there too.. I was surprised why he is in music school then.. The first time geared  him singing.. I got so surprised I wanted to screw him right over there for real.... how dare he... become a competition for me..? That was my first thought  hearing him sing. I don't know if he is messing with me or not but he joined the same company as me.. I got even more pissed when the heir of obelia proposed to him.. That lucky bastard gonna get  everything in life easily like that..?  I thought, but to my surprise he rejected her.. He is really interesting sometimes.. I joined hands with her to Take him down and sketched out some plans.. I used her power and wealth and screwed him.. It was really entertaining watching him crumble but I had to focus on my career too, so I grabbed the chance he missed and  went on world tour worked  hard  but when I returned back. I thought he would have  even left the company by now but.. He got married huh..?  Even had a  baby..?  Did jennete's plan go south.. So he had to marry the girl he slept with..? Hahaha.. I thought if he marry jennete he have to take over the company so he won't sing anymore but looks like i have to push him  into a deep pit  along with his new family..? Heh.. ' he thought and smirked

Lucas and cabel were on their way back home..

"haah.. Go quick dude.. I am Gonna play with my cute atheia" cabel said in a  dramatic voice. Lucas chuckled at his action amd drove fast

"you didn't tell athy..?"  cabel asked

"tell what..?"  lucas asked still his eyes fixed on the road

"I know you and felix are trying so hard to block her from  finding out who you married but she have to know don't you think...?  What if that bitch knows she is your wife  but athy doesn't know she was that annoying girl Who disturbed you..? She may use that to create problem don't you think? "

" I am sure she don't know I already made  her believe some other girl as my wife by changing the photos and  fooled her.. The spy she sent doesn't even tried to hide from me.. He made it easy for me " lucas said and smirked.

" do you have to go that extent luu..? "

" hmm I know she will found she was fooled eventually but I  Just wanted  to delay it  a bit "

" then just tell  Her everything.. She is really smart.. You know what.. she  asked.. is something wrong with our work why you are upset  nowadays.. That surprised me, I didn't tell her anything but I feel  Bad lying to Her. just tell Her already idiot.. I am sure she also found  out I was lying  "

" pfft.. even atheia can tell if you lie you just don't have that talent for lying  just give up  already " lucas said and grinned

"  yeah.. yeah.. I am not fit for that so what..?  I am OK atleast helly would believe me " cabel said.

They reached home and cabel rushed out of the car.. Lucas followed him to see  atheia playing in the hall with helly and blackey , lily was in the kitchen  busy with her chores .

" atheia baby...your handsome  Uncle is here.. Come to uncle... Haah i rushed here to see you.. you know"

cabel said hugging atheia tight in his arms

"boo.. Baa.. Gaah.." atheia screamed happily looking at cabel

"huh.. What are you saying..? When will you talk... Haah.. I can't wait to hear  her  talk.. Her speech will be so adorable  right helly?" cabel siad hugging her tight

" slow down caby you are crushing her"

helly said while she hit his arm. Blackey tried to move hi away from athiea. "woah.. Blacckey wait.. I am just hugging her.. Woah.. He is overprotective over her" cabel mumbled as black tried to push him away and atheia laughed at them happily.

' yeah.. her voice is really  adorable '  Lucas thought and  smiled looking at them and walked near his room..

His head  is full of everything happening around.. Tomorrow 's meeting... What's gonna happen to  his album..?  Jennete disturbing his work.. He walked inside the room In daze  and Sat down  in the bed not even noticing the girl standing before him  and sighed.. Athy watched  everything standing in front of him in the room worried..she walked towards him and slowly patted his head gently.. A warm feeling surged throughout him.

"are you okay lucas?" 

her  gentle voice seeped away all his anxiety, he looked up to see her looking down at him worried.. He hugged her tight by her waist  and buried his face in her chest.. She smiled and gently caressed his head.

"I am not.. I am  pissed off and my head aches from thinking about all of that .."

he said in a low voice. He yanked her by waist and made her sit in his lap.. She was surprised for a moment then she leaned  her face  on his shoulder  ' just now I looked down on him cause he looked small  next moment I am in his lap looking small.. he is really tall isn't he?' she thought and a small smile appeared on her face. She look straight at him and cupped his face.

" it must be hard right..?" she asked like comforting a baby

"hmm.. It is but since it happened many times I thought I am getting used to this but still it is unbearable"

"what do you mean again..?"

"hmm... You know I was working in a new album right?  It's copyright was stolen by that wench again.. Everyone knows it well that its her doing  but they don't dare open  their  mouths  cause she got power and now trying to snatch  it away from me.. haah.."

" what..?  She is so annoying... Why the hell  she is so persistent like this..? What if she is powerful..?  It's not like she is some Godess.. hmph.. I wish she will get her head hit hard and get amnesia and just forget about  you  " athy  said irritated and lucas chuckled

"  I am so pissed  here and  look at you chuck.. ". She was stopped by the sudden kiss on her lips. He parted apart after some time  And she  is red   like a tomato

" pfft... It's because you are cute.. Haah.. Now my mood got better.. Since my wife got mad for me and cutely cursed her..And... you already know her sia" he said in a low voice

"huh..? I know her?" athy asked confused

"hmm.. That annoying girl.. Her name is jennete.." he said in a expressionless  voice and there was a silence.. He tried to figure out her reaction but her face looked blank

'I can't  figure out whether she is shocked or sad .. I wanted to hide it even longer  but I know I can't do that forever.. I was scared what will happen if she knows  It was her.. What if she got reminded of her unpleasant days again and what if she cries in her sleep again that's why I tried so hard all this months to hide this from her but.. What cabel told me today really bug me  so I thought  it's safe if  she knew this beforehand.. Like he said it may cause misunderstanding afterwards.. But is she okay now..? '

His mind was all over the place he is  restlessly waiting for her reply but to his surprise she started laughing.. He stared at her confised by her sudden reaction.

"  really...? Waah my stomach hurts"

"right  now.. I am confused by your reaction... are you alright?" lucas asked

"pfft.. Yeah I am alright.. don't worry.. I am  just too surprised and it's funny how our fates are intertwined...Just how small the world is.. Our story is so   dramatic don't you think.?"  she  said and giggled lucas stared at her for a while and his lips curved into a smile.

'maybe you're not as  weak as  I thought.. If it was that... I am more than glad sia' he thought and sighed in relief.

" so she was the  one who proposed to you .. Wow I didn't expect her to have good taste in men though"  she mumbled deep in thoughts  lucas smirked hearing her reply

" hmm..i am not sure about her but you really have a good taste in men " he said and she chuckled. Lucas then explained her everything

" it's okay lucas.. You don't have to walk on  eggshell for me all the time .. I am not that weak.. You don't believe in  me?" she asked with a  mad face .

"it's not That.. I just want you to live in peace not to  get tangled in my mess"  he said and athy's face turned even colder

"  I am hurt.. Why are you saying it like that.. I am you wife of course I will take part in everything happening in your life even if it's sad, messed up, problematic I can't just ignore them and only share happy things with you, that's not what  real family do "

she said getting up from his lap he felt like he was in the middle of antartica from the coldness in the air around them. She was about to walk away  but lucas caught her hand..

" I am sorry.. I am sorry.. I was wrong  won't say  it again OK? "

he said hugging her from the back she looked down for sometime and slowly smiled.. She turned towards him still in hugging position and smiled.. Lucas felt like warm sun rays hit him and  sweeped away the coldness .

" then.. Hereafter don't hide anything from me "

" hmm.. Sure.. I won't hide.. I promise" he said and she  smiled at him.

"so if you get back your copyrights documents, your problem is solved right?"

"yeah.. But that's why it is troublesome, we made everything confidential but I think she set someone in our office she get them using money everytime.. She always start troubling me sooner this time she was late but she made huge mess this time , I am more worried because felix will  lose big due to this in tomorrow's meeting "lucas said and sighed in frustration.

" hmm.. Then how about we take  what ours  back..? " athy said and grinned.

" huh.. Take..? Take What..? " lucas asked dumbfounded
