Chapter 20

Its been months and Everyone is happy and busy at the arrival of their  little angel..  Sometimes Atheia woke  up on  nights and athy lost her sleep due to that, lucas sometimes help her when he can able to open his eyes but fails most of times as a sleepy head he is.. Athy didn't mind losing sleep since she felt happy that her daughter is healthy and active even at night . In daytime lily take care of athiea and helena help her out sometimes while athy use that time to sleep.. The  house is filled with laughter and crying of atheia. athy felt overwhelmed with that  happiness. lily and felix are  always there to  take  care of everything about athy as if she is still a child.. Helena and cabel   staying with them made the  house more livelier .. Meal times become more appetising.. Evenings went with happy chatters.. Bed times are filled with sweet stories.. Though sometimes  athy felt scared that everything was going smooth  she decided to live in the moment, so she let that slide..

Athy's P. O. V.

Athy was sitting on the bed patting her sleepy daughter to sleep embracing her in her chest.. 'My athiea grow up real quick huh ..? She can sit  on her own now... She will turn one soon and she can talk a little like making sounds I  can't wait to hear her call me mama... Even her voice is so lovely how can she be this lovely..?  When she first turned around  and when  she started to walk on her knees I can't explain  how happy I was.. I thanked God every day for giving me this angel.. She roam all over the house now.. I wonder what will happen if she start  walking.. Pfft.. I think I have to run behind her to feed her. Even now I can't catch up to her since she walks on her knees so fast sometimes  thanks to lucas

I can catch her.. lucas.. He is as always perfect.. He used to stare at atheia amused and often  tell me how small she was and he always carried her as gently as possible like she will break if he hold her tight, that's when I had the chance to saw his gentle side and the way they are bonding made my heart overwhelmed.. He is really a good father  to her.. He always tried his best to take care of her..he learned to change diapers for her.. He don't know how to make her laugh and entertain her like cabel do  but he still watch her playing with a gentle smile.. He sometimes whine to me about  how he got jealous over cabel for entertaining atheia that he can't..pfft.. He behave so childish sometimes.. It took all of my   energy to convince him that atheia likes him more than cabel but it's true though  she loves her dad way too much.. '

She was deep in her thoughts with a smile and came back to her senses  when atheia nudged she looked down at her and she started crying..

"waah.. UWah.."

"there.. There.. Why my daughter is crying..?"

she got up from the bed and started walking back and forth patting her back gently..

"why she is crying?"

She turned hearing the voice and saw lucas entering the  room and smiled

"may be she missed her dad?"

athy said in a teasing tone Lucas took atheia from her gently in his arms and she stopped crying immediately lucas and athy looked  at her surprised, lucas smiled at his daughter while athy stared at them with a pout

"see.. What I told you.. I am the one who carried you for  nine months but you love  your dad more than me  huh..?" she  said still pouting and lucas chuckled at her action..

"really..? did you miss me..?  Athiea.. Atheia.."

he called her name   in a  soft tone and  she  looked up slowly and stared at him for a while then smiled looking at him adorably .. Athy looked at them with a smile. He  gave her a soft kiss on her forehead and patted her back gently and she slowly  fell asleep.

"well.. Since you are here.. take care of you daughter.."

athy told him and was about to walk past them but lucas grabbed her hand and yanked her towards him..

"wha.."

"shhh.."

"what..?" she whispered to  him tilting her head.. He grinned at her and  gave a peck on her cheek.. She blushed a little and gave a 'what was that for?' Look

"nothing.. Just because..you are cute.." he said with a grin

"really..? Then who is more cute me or atheia?".

athy asked in a teasing tone.. Lucas chuckled and  hugged her by holding her waist with one hand since he is  carrying atheia in another.

"both are.. I can't pick one.. since she takes after you.." 

"wow.. Look at You and your sneaky replies..." athy said and giggled.

" lucas.. You are early today..?"

"no I came because I forgot to take a  file from my study .."

"Haa.. I see.. Then give her to me.."

She said and took athiea from his arms, gently placed her in the bed and tugged her inside the bed sheet. Lucas searched for the  file through his study..

"did you find it..?"

athy asked entering the  study after putting athiea on bed.

"yep..just in time...i gotta go..bye" he said in hurry and rushed out

" drive safe lucas.." athy told walking behind him..

"hmm.."

he get inside the car and drove out.. Athy stood there and watched his car fading away from her  sight 

' His last album was a success and he got more praises for that and  now he is working on his new album after his break which ended because I forced him To go  back to work.. At first he was excited and didn't come home  working over time but.. for some days he seem anxious and irritated about something .. He is trying  to act normal in home so i didn't disturbed him by asking why .. May be he is stressed from work..?  But he was too happy to sing .. Should I try asking cabel..?  'She thought as she stood there .

Lucas is sitting on the rolling chair  tapping the table with the tip of his pen . Cabel Is sitting on the side of the table looking at him worried.. Felix is talking over to someone to be exact shouting at him..

"lucas I know this question is absurd but are you okay..?"

cable asked in a low tone. Lucas stopped tapping and glanced at him with a smirk

" if you know why bother asking cabby..? Well.. Let's see what's gonna happen..it's not like this is first time " lucas shrugged and flopped in his chair staring at the ceiling.

"yeah.. It's not our first time but.. it still piss me off.. That damn wench.. Just why the hell she is this persistent..?" Cabel grumbled in anger.

Felix entered the room and Sat on the sofa with a big sigh..

"what happen..?" cable asked

"well... A meeting was arranged to make further decision..and.." he was about to say something but stopped while his eyes met lucas 's.

"and what?" lucas asked confused

"don't mind it" felix said and sighed

"the meeting is tomorrow be prepared  guys" felix told then and went outside.

Cabel noticed someone coming and  waved.

"hii dude"

"hi cabel how are you?". Asked a man with white haor and golden eyes

"don't ask me that kiel.. How about you..? " cabel sighed and got up

"haha.. You are in bad mood I see.. My mistake.. And I am fine" he said with a smile

"glad to hear that.. So you finally  came back from your tour huh.. You are the only one here.. traveling for almost a year singing all around world..that must be fun right? "

"yeah you can say that it was really fun even though there was some times I feel exhausted" he said

while talking cabel noticed the time

"ohh.. We  gotta go bye kiel see you laterlucas let's go"

he said as he walked past him.Lucas stood up from his chair and walked towards him but was interupted by the white haired dude

"hi lucas long time no see.." he said with a warm smile on his face.

"hii .. Yeah.. It's been long time.." lucas replied back with a business smile

"i am glad you are OK now, I was worried when you got into trouble last year.. What are doing all this time this year   it's peaceful for you isn't it..?"  he asked and smiled innocently at him

Lucas stared at him for a while and smirked

" yeah.. I am having a blast this year "

he said with a smirk and walked past him

He saw the both of them walking past him with a bright smile  which faded as soon as they left.

"is he mocking you..? That jerk". Cabel said with a groan

"ignore him cabby I am tired of his gentle boy acting let's go" . lucas said as he placed his arms on his shoulder and dragged cabel with him.

"you are having a blast? What the hell is that  idiot jennete doing?" kiel mumbled
