Chapter 14

She slowly opened her eyes and saw lucas sitting beside her in the bed  working on laptop.. He turned and patted her head..

"you awake..?"

he asked and she nodded her head and  slowly Sat  up straight she stretched her body and blinked her eyes  adjusting to the brightness..

"what time is it..?"

she asked getting up from The bed..

" ten o'clock"

he said .. She nodded and went to fresh up.. Lucas got a call and he went outside of  the room

"what do you want..?"

he asked nonchalantly as he attended the call..

"what The.. What I want..? Did you forget all the  work   bending after seeing your wife..? You jerk.. Come back right now.."

cable screamed on the other side making lucas tilt his head away form his phone..

"I am not in the mood today just Do them alone.." he said and ended the call..

"this selfish jerk.. I also have girlfriend.. Haah.. Helly is gonna kill me.. Felix..." he shouted and walked towards felix to complain about lucas ..

Lucas heard the  calling bell ringing  while he was on call with cabel, he  was about to  walk  towards the door but stopped and continued his work when he heared athy shouting

"don't mind it.. I will see.."  as she went towards the door. When he entered the living room after  ending the call 

"is that cabel..?"  she asked as she standing near the table opening the parcel..  He turned towards her after hearing her voice and stood there  in daze with an annoyed face

"lucas..?" she called him Waving her hand in front of his face he came out of his daze , starring   at her and sighed.

"what happen..?  Why are you  suddenly frowning..?"

she asked with a clueless face... 

" Hereafter don't open  the door for others I will do it.." He  said and turned the other side.

"huh.. O.. Okay..?"

she said in a confused tone.. 'why he look suddenly pissed did I did something wrong..?' she thought and stood there dumbfounded.

'haah.. I am going crazy... How can she be that clueless..?  Should I just tell her .. What if she get mad thinking  I am controlling her..?  ' he thought and sighed.

'what's up with him today..? He suddenly looked  pissed off.. Now looking gloomy.. is he having mood swing..? But I was the one pregnant here'

she thought as she  walked towards him..

"wait.. Answer me first.. What happen..?"

she asked grabbing his hand and stopping him on the way.. He turned back and stared at her..

'wait... isn't that my shirt..? I like It that she is wearing my shirt but..'

"why the hell are you opening the door when you are dressed like this.."

He said in a irritated tone . She looked down and then again up at him.. She was wearing white crop top and shorts with  a  checkered shirt above them  which was actually lucas' s.

" huh..?   Are you mad I took  your shirt without asking ..? "

she asked still clueless.. He sighed and yanked her by her waist.. She stumbled a little .. He leaned closer and closer.. Until thier noses touched..

" Listen carefully since I will say this only once .. Don't.ever. Show up. Yourself. Like this in front of other guy. Ever. Again."

"do you  have any idea how sexy you look dressed like this  ..?  It pisses me off just thinking about other guys looking at you like this .. I really.. really hate it.." he said in a pissed tone.

Her face was fully blushed hearing what he said , she  also find that funny .. 'pfft..so he was frowning because of this..?  I think I was  right last time.. When he was mad he look so hot..  but if he talk like this  I want to tease him more.. So I can see his  hot side  a bit more right..? ' she thought and grinned.

"so.. What will you do if I  do again..?"

she asked and giggled.. She looked up at him and her eyes wided .. ' crap.. I think i messed up.. It's that smirk again.. It feels like deja vu' she thought and gulped..

"you want to know..?"

he whispered in her ear leaning further she started  walking backwards out of habit .. He pinned her on the table when she reached the corner walking backwards.. She looked straight at his deep  Red eyes.. ' no athy don't look at them his eyes are my weakness...and  it's that mischievous smile again.. I should have just get  satisfied seeing his hot  side once..  Now I admit that I brought this myself I shouldn't have provoked him like this... I should find a way to escape..' she thought and  stopped him by her hands

"fine... I am Sorry.. I am sorry.. I won't do it again.. OK..?.. Now move.."

she said giving up and he smirked. He leaned further and hugged her tightly by her waist. There was no gap amidst them. He leaned further and placed his head on her shoulder snuggling.. Her eyes wided in shock

' He suddenly  gave   a hickey on my  neck..god!!. I bet  my  Face will be  flushed in deep Red now .. My  heart beated like crazy.. I felt a electrifying sensation running through every inch of my body.. I Never felt a sensation like that before.. it was like he was devouring my whole existence.. I thought I am  really gonna  melt from the heat rushing inside my body.. My legs went weak and I hugged him Tight in fear of  falling down.. I tapped his shoulder to stop and he finally parted away from me..

I almost fell down but he hugged me tight..  I felt dizzy and buried my face in his chest.. He tightened the  hug  and kissed my forehead.

" sia... From head to toe you are Mine..I won't let you showing up  Yourself like this to  others..  I won't   care about stuffs like  .. will  you will think  I am controlling you if I tell you this..?  Anymore.. I just want you to keep this one  thing  in Mind.. I hate it so don't it again.. "

He said in a stren voice and I  realised he was serious ... My crazy heart finally  give up the idea of jumping  out of my chest  by beating crazily  and   calmed down..

" okay... I won't.. I will Keep  It in mind.. You jerk.. Don't do this again.. I nearly fainted.."

I told him may be whined to him   and hit  his  shoulder hard..while parting apart from him.. He chuckled as he released me.. I took few steps away from him. But I still felt a bit dizzy.. He carried me again in princess style but this time I just leaned on his shoulder..

" heh.. You are not fighting with me this time huh ..?"

he asked raising one of his eyebrow with a smirk.. I once again got reminded he was someone who walk around with a smug face on  daily basis.. no Matter  how much he act soft he sometimes show His real face like this..

" you should  do  this for what you  just did to me.. Just lay me down on  bed.. I don't have  any energy left to argue ."

"pfft.. I am Sorry but not sorry.." he said nonchalantly and she hit  him hard on his chest.

"I  know  it.. you jerk.." she said pouting..

Lucas  lied her down in the bed and lied beside her and stared at her with a smirk.. She glared at him still pouting and he chuckled. Athy  got pissed  and throwed  a pillow on his face..

"what are you giggling for..?"

"pfft.. Wait.. Haha ..."

he started laughing after that which made her even more pissed. She turned against him and closed her eyes.. Trying to ignore him and get some peace from sleeping He hugged her and turned her towards him..

"stop laughing or get lost.."

"fine... Fine.. Sorry.. I can't control.. Why  are you so cute..?"

he said still giggling.. She stared  at him for a while..

' so pretty.. He rarely laugh happily like This.. So I will Let this slide.. It woukd be good if  he show his feelings like this all the time . most of the time he have a blank face..'

she thought and smiled. Her hands reached his face without knowing herself..

" yeah.. Yeah.. Laugh all you want.. I will. Let this slide.. Since it's a rare sight to see.."

she said caressing his cheek smiling.. He Stopped laughing and stared at her silently for a moment with a smile .. and kissed her softly.

They heared  the calling bell ringing again..

" who the.. What a great timing.. "

lucas grumbled  getting up from the bed. Athy Sat up giggling.

" go and see by yourself "

she pushed him out of the room and locked the door behind him.

He walked towards the door and opened it  to see lily and felix standing their smiling at him he welcomed them inside..

" where is athy..? "

lily asked searching for her.

" she is lying down on  bed.." he said as they walked towards their room.

"is she okay..?" lily asked concerned.

"she said she is feeling  a bit dizzy.." he said scratching his nape..

"is that so..? "

lily rushed to her room worried she opened the door changing into another dress and lucas let out a small smile satisfied..

"athy are you okay..?  Still feeling dizzy..?"  she asked worried.

"huh.. Dizzy..?" she asked confused.

"lucas said you're feeling dizzy.. are you okay..?"

felix asked  with a concerned face

Athy glared at him and he turned his face away.. Her hand  unconsciously  reached her neck and she covered his bite mark well by adjusting the collar ..

Felix noticed that and glared at  lucas.. He smiled at him sheepishly and turned his face away  and escaped from the room as soon as he can but  felix  followed  him outside..

Lily  rummaged through athy's  medicines not knowing what's going on around her.. Athy went towards lily and convinced her she is really OK.. Then they chatted sitting on the sofa.. Lucas tried to sneek out..

" lucas..  Are you going out..? I want to eat choco cake..  Buy me one when  coming back "

she said sitting on the sofa watching TV.

"  yeah.. Sure.." he said and went out

"stop there.." felix said as he followed him..

"let's go together.."

he said putting his hand on lucas 's shoulder  smiling at him.. But lucas felt a menacing aura around him..' it's ok.. It's not to the level when he found I slept with her.. That day I thought he is gonna kill me.. 'lucas thought and gulped.

" take care of my daughter well lucas.. If you hurt her then I won't show any mercy remember that.."

he said as they took a stroll towards the nearby  bakery

"yeah I know.. Don't worry.. I won't.." lucas said

"yeah you better don't.." felix said and there was  silence  for  a  moment.

"felix can I ask you something..?"

lucas talked finally breaking the silence.

"what..?" 

"who is sia 's so called father  ..?"

He asked and felix stopped walking surprised  by his sudden question.

"did she tell you everything.?" he asked after a while.

"yeah..."

"I see.. I am glad now.. She finally believe someone  other than us.. to the level  of telling this to you"

feix said and a smile apperead on lucas face.

"you already know him lucas.." felix said and lucas looked at him confused..

"what..?"

" he is claude de alger obelia.. Managing director of obelia corporations.."  felix said in a blank tone

Now it's lucas turn to be surprised.

"what... Haah.. Yes.. Now I remember you said her jeweled eyes are her family's special trait.." lucas mumbled putting pieces together

"yeah... It was.. I heard he left to Russia and  currently staying there..."

"No.. he was here now.." lucas said in a irritated voice..

"what.. Really..? How did you know..?" felix asked  shocked and confused  at the same time.

"sia saw him.. Yesterday"

lucas said his voice filled with anger and his hands clenched to a fist thinking about how much she cried..

"wh... What..? She.. Is she alright..?" felix got panic and asked nervously..

"don't panic.. She is alright atleast now... She had nightmare just by looking at him.. That. ** i really want to kill him but she said she don't want to get involved with him so I had no choice.."

he said clenching his fist a vein popped out in his forehead just by thinking about him.. Felix looked at him surprised  It's his first seeing lucas that much angry he was always calm and collective..

He smiled happily at the thought  that now his daughter have someone who  care about her this  much and felt relieved  that he will protect her well..

"she is right just don't get involved with him.. If you want to protect her make sure they don't meet even accidentally.. This  was not first time.. eveytime she saw him she got nightmares.. that's why I send her far away as much I can from him so that she can live freely.. So don't make a fuss and take her away from him ASAP .. I was more furious than you at that time but I leave him alone because athy don't wanted that.. Don't do anything she hate and hurt her.. Did you  Understand what I mean ..? " he asked him in a stren voice.lucas sighed in frustration releasing his fist..

" yeah I understand.. "he said looking down.

" that's good.. I will check on his whereabouts until He leave the country that way we can easily avoid him. "felix said and lucas nodded his head.

"  so you already know everything don't you..? " lucas asked..

" about what.? "

" so... that annoying bitch was sia's cousin..? Haah... Just how small the world is..? " lucas scoffed.

" ahh.. That thing.. Yeah.. I also find it funny.. But I thought it will be the best way to  piss her off " felix said and smirked.

"wow.. Here I thought you are an  innocent man.. But.. Why she don't have jewel eyes..?"

"she took after her mother and have green eyes.. She was the first child in obelia family who don't have jewel eyes.." felix said.

"  is that so..? Then that's a relief..."  lucas said and smiled..

"pfft... You really don't hide your thoughts huh..?" felix said chuckling at his reply.

"of course.. Otherwise I would have wanted to dodge her eyes out if she had jewel eyes.."

"haha.. Why..? You hate jewel eyes..?" felix asked chuckling.

"no I like it but ... If that pest had same eyes as my sia.. Nothing else will irritate me  more than that.. It suits her only.. "

he said and felix looked at him surprised. 'I am glad that athy married you  not her..' he thought and smiled happily .
