Chapter seven

" If you say so....." Ben replies.

After a minute of silence.....

" Gah-oof!" 

" Did anyone hear that?" Evie asks.

" Definitely." Mal answers.

Everyone turned around only to find Fairy Godmother on the pavement. She looked badly injured especially her clothes, there were so many rips it got Evie and Carlos all shocked more than anyone else.

" Fairy Godmother!" Evie says in worry as she runs toward the wounded teacher.

(huff huff.....)

" Fairy Godmother, are you okay?" Carlos asked.

" The school....It's all demolished by a forest of thorns....." Fairy Godmother shakily says.

" Are you alright, Fairy Godmother?" King Adam asks while the others are behind him.

Just before Fairy Godmother can provide anymore answers, she collapsed on the ground.

" Fairy Godmother!!!!!!!!" Evie and Carlos screamed.

" Oh no....." Doug says silently.

" Oh boy......." Jay says silently.

" Do you think she'll be okay, hon?"Queen Belle asks.

" I hope so. For now we should take her to the hospital for serious treatment." King Adam replied.

Everyone stood in silence as Evie and Carlos hold their teacher to their hearts as they cry for her. Only Mal, finally broke the silence.

" I had it!!!!" Mal furiously screamed.

Everyone looks at her with a questioning look.

" That thief caused so much devastation! I had enough!!!!! I'm going face to face with her!" Mal yelled.

" Mal....." Ben worryily says.

" No, Ben. I don't care if she's all that powerful and immune to magic. I just can't stand seeing everyone we care get hurt!" Mal argues.

" Mal, can't you hear yourself? You can't fight her all alone and we don't even know where she could be right now." Ben replies.

" I just......." (Mal falls down to the ground crying.)

" It's okay. I promise you we will defeat this person together." Ben whispers while hugging a shaking Mal.

(Mal continues to cry uncontrollably.)

It was a devastating day for everyone, but what can they do knowing they are dealing with a whole new enemy? 

" Hello, dear Auradon. Snow White here, reporting from Auradon Newscast. Auradon is at complete stake. A disaster occured just yesterday. It was devastating, all the hallways and dorms were smashed by a forest of thorns. People started thinking Maleficent may be behind it all but some say a mysterious figure has caused it. I, myself is terrified of all this. I think it's best to stay away from Maleficent or this mysterious person!" Snow White frantically says.

" Wha? Why do people think I did it?" Maleficent asks.

" Must be that mysterious hooded figure." Maleficent mutters.

Suddenly, in a flash, Maleficent receives images of the hooded figure and the red headed girl she met.

" Could it be, she's that hooded figure?! The girl I met just yesterday?" Maleficent yells.

" It must be really her.... But, how is it she owns one of my spellbooks? I wonder...." Maleficent asks herself.

" This doesn't make any sense...." Maleficent mutters.

(turns off the TV)

" I must find answers." Maleficent says while heading out of the tower.

(Meanwhile.....)

" Ugh, Malice can't be found...." Cruella whined as she stumbles to the ground.

" Why give up now? She must be near by." Jafar replied.

" Give up, Jafar. She can't be found. We've been looking for her all night yesterday and all morning today." Evil Queen argued.

" Alright, give me one reason we should give up." Jafar offered.

" We can't find her anywhere!!!!!" Cruella and Evil Queen argued.

" Okay,okay.....Sheesh." Jafar mumbled.

" I guess we have to plan our revenge without her....." Jafar says as he and the two women leaves the forest area.

But, little do they know Malice was behind a tree, watching them leave. Once the villains left, Malice was left all alone.

(Sigh......)

                     "Look at you, look at me, I don't know who to be Mother  ?" Malice sang.

                       "Is it wrong, is it right be a thief in the night, Mother?......Tell me what to

                         do...." Malice added.

Malice then hears a flashback of Maleficent singing her part of the song.

" Don't you want to be evil like me? Don't you want to be mean?"

" Don't you wanna make mischief your daily routine?" 

" Somewhat  mom....." Malice replies.

" Will you spend all your life attending to the poor?"

" I guess not..." Malice says.

" But, when you're evil doing less is doing more!!!" 

"  Don't you wanna be ruthless and rotten and mad? " 

" Mad? Gee, mom sometimes is a funny lady." Malice mutters.

"  Don't you wanna be very, very good at being bad? " 

 " Hmmm...." Malice thinks.

" I have tried my whole life long to do the worst I can,clawed my way to victory,built my master plan!"

" Funny, even if I just hear mom's voice singing, her voice is giving me back memories of her stories." Malice says.

  "  Now the time has come my dear for you to take your place ."

" My place?" Malice questions.

" Promise me you'll try to be an absolute disgrace." 

" Wha?... This part of the lyrics don't make sense at all...." Malice mutters.

"  Don't you wanna be evil like me? Don't you wanna be cruel? Don't you wanna be nasty and brutal and cool?"

" I.... Don't know." Malice replies.

"    And when you grab that wand that's when your reign begins.Who wants an evil queen without a sack of sins? "

(complete silence)

"  Don't you wanna be heartless and hardened as stone? Don't you wanna be finger licking' evil to the bone?"

Malice then starts feeling something deep down inside her. A spirit just wanting to get out.

"This is not for us to ponder.This was preordained.You and I shall rule together,freedom soon regain.Mistress of the universe, powerful and strong...."

"  Daughter, hear me,help me, join me.Won't you sing along?!!!"

Malice's eyes start glowing bright green and did what was commanded even if it's all a flashback.

"    Now we're gonna be evil! It's true! Never gonna think twice." both Maleficent's voice and Malice sang.

" And we're gonna be spiteful." Malice sang in a high pitch tone.

"    Yes, spiteful!That's nice." 

" In just an hour or two.Our future's safe and sure.  This mother-daughter act is going out on tour!!!"

" Yeah." Malice replies.

"If you wanna be evil and awful and free,then you should thank your lucky star that you were born the girl you are.The daughter of an evilicious queen Like me!!!"          

( End of Maleficent's flashback voice)

Malice's eyes glowed deep green even more that it caused an aftershock around the area.

" I will destroy Auradon and help the villains rule the land." Malice mutters.

And so Malice did as what she felt, but little does she know Maleficent has been watching her from a distance.

" Oh my gosh......" Maleficent mumbled.

Things seem to start to make sense for Maleficent. Everything about the girl starts to piece together like a puzzle but, she still does not want to admit it out loud.

" Why is it everything starts to make sense?" Maleficent asked herself.

Suddenly, flashbacks start to appear through Maleficent's head revealing images of a young girl with red hair no older than six. She looked innocent but at the same time has a spirit for evil but.... She lacks the motivation.

Maleficent's eyes widen and kneels down on the ground as though she was defeated.

" That girl....She's my daughter...." whispered Maleficent.

Weirdly, Maleficent starts to laugh like a crazy maniac. She was too happy for having a second child whom she has forgotten for a very long time.

" Oh, Auradon, you're about to meet your demise!" Maleficent shouts with delight.

Without a trace, Maleficent disappears through her green flames.

( Back in Auradon...)

" Ugh, what can we do? This whole place is a mess and that mysterious figure can strike again anytime." Ben complains.

" Now, now,now. Son, ideas don't just come in a second. You must think wisely. That's what kings do when dealing with conflicts." King Adam replies.

" So hard to think with all these problems...." Ben muttered.

" Son....." King Adam says as he sits near his own son.

" You've got me. I'll help you get through this." King Adam whispers.

" But, dad....." Ben argues.

" No,no,no. You can make it. I can tell you that. You're the most confident son I ever had." King Adam marvels.

Ben blushes.

" For now, we can just send the guards to keep an eye for any intruders." King Adam says.
