Chapter 17

 Macy hung on to Colby's cell phone she snatched from his back pocket behind her as Colby frowned at her, "Macy. What was that all about?" Colby asked through clenched teeth trying to remain somewhat calm. Colby already knew that Sam was probably thinking that everything so far had been an act and that somehow Colby and Macy were dating. Colby just knew it as his boyfriend seemed to always get lost in thought, especially anxious ones. All the brunette wanted to do was to run after Sam, pull him into his arms, and tell him he would never hurt him, "Sorry Colby I guess I should have warned you, I'm a hugger!"Macy smiled as she shrugged her shoulders, "Well I better get going, have a lovely day Colby bear!" Macy hurried away as Colby watched eyes wide at the strange girl, her wedges clacking in the distance. Colby turned at the sound of small snickers to see Sam red faced trying to hold back giggles, 

 "Colby bear? What kind of a nickname is that?" Sam questioned through his laughter. Colby only sighed of relief at the fact that Sam wasn't angry,sad, or hurt. "I don't know love, but the nickname could have been worse." Colby amended grabbing Sam's hand and pulling him closer to himself, "So Colby who was that? I mean I wished I got to meet your friend, especially since she seems to know you well enough to give you a nickname like that." Sam muttered as Colby only shrugged, "She isn't my friend, but her name is Macy. She told me she was had waiting for me but I haven't seen her a day in my life, swear." Sam nodded leaning into Colby, his head leaning on the brunettes shoulder, "Strange. But we better head to Math or Ms. I will kill you will kill us with her chalk board eraser. Colby laughed as a shiver ran down his spine in his remembrance of the beady eyed women he met on his first day here. 

 All through Math the two lovers passed notes and held hands under the desks, oblivious to the student around them who stared at them with an awe. As Macy had said, the boys may be oblivious, but the whole school minus a select few loved the two boys and their endearing relationship. That was how it had been all day. Unknowing gazes of approval and the two boys showing their love off in each class. No one but Matt missed the leather clad Colby. No one but Matt missed Sam sitting by himself cold, lonely, and classified as a shadow. Matt missed the time of normalcy, the time he classified as B.S, Before the sin. 

 Little Macy sat in the library doing exactly what Matt told her to do. She entered Colby's phone with a breeze, she may look like the classic idiot girl with good looks but she was a genius, especially when it came to computers. Basic hacking was the skills she carried, sadly. She wished she didn't have them as she quickly typed in her phone number along with her name as Baby in Colby's contacts. Faking the texts were even easier, a little change in the database to change when certain texts were sent and received Macy quickly sent cute texts back and forth from her phone to Colby's. By the time she was done with Colby's phone it looked like they have been talking the whole time and were a disgustingly cute couple. As the final touch she changed Sam's contact from Sammy Love to Baby #2. Now to plant the phone back into Colby's back pocket with out being suspicious and her part of the plan was almost over. Macy felt sick as she slid Colby's phone in her back pack wishing she was stronger or braver so she didn't have to be pushed into doing this. But with Matt watching her every move she got up letting out a quiet sigh she didn't even realize she was holding. 

 Colby couldn't find his phone anywhere. He sent Sam ahead to go home as the last bell rang. The halls were quickly deserted, leaving Colby alone and confused. He could have swore he had it in his back pocket this whole day and he hadn't taken it out once so how did it get lost? Colby tore his back pack and locker apart with no luck. He then went to each class and expected every square inch of the room in hopes of finding his phone. He was suppose to spend the evening at Sam's house and have dinner with his mother but instead he was here looking for his phone. Defeated he walked back to his locker to grab his bag to see the girl from this morning leaning by his locker, a sly smirk resting on her lips that didn't quite reach her eyes. She looked like Colby when he wore his leather jacket, fake and tapped, "Were you looking for this?" She questioned as Colby's phone dangled from her fingers tauntingly, "Where the hell did you find this? I was looking for this forever!" Colby raged, he wanted nothing but to be cuddling with Sam right now but instead he was here with Macy holding his phone. The girl shrugged as she handed Colby the phone, "It was only on the ground right next to your bag there." She replied as she batted her eye lashes, "I just happened to walk by and saw it on the ground. I picked up in fear that someone might step on it." She continued false concern settled on her face, "Whatever. I don't have time for this." Colby sighed ready to leave the wretched school building and the strange girl behind. 

 "What, no thank you kiss?" Macy asked, the words coming out as if she were choking on them. Colby turned around to face Macy and with a roll of his eyes deadpanned, "No." Macy watched as Colby walked out, her heart fell to the ground along with her stomach that seemed to swirl with sickness. She couldn't believe that she was helping ruin someones life. She figured it would have been less painful to be punched by Matt Rangers but now it was too late. Bruises and broke bones only last a few months, but the guilt that was already settling inside of Macy would last a life time and she hated it. 

Outside, Colby put his phone in his back pocket and headed towards Sam's house blissfully unaware of the second shadow following behind him.   

A/N: Chapter 17 is finally done. I apologize for not uploading everyday but it had been getting hard to crank out the chapters. My favorite from Sam's had to be the prank where he pushed Colby out in the pool with Corey. My favorite Colby video had to be his most recent one of him in Suicide forest. It was just powerful to me? I literally bawled my eyes out the whole time for no reason but I do love a good creepy video! ~Nightmare
