claude was in his office signing important documents , he sensed a strong wave of mana just when lucas appeared from thin air.

" don't you have legs ? " he asked still eyes glued to his papers

"My apologies your majesty , " he said nonchalantly and Claude finally looked up at him. Of course 'pissed '

" i heard the news from Athanasia, " he said and Lucas's cocky smirk was gone, he stared at claude confused at his statement.

" it seems she really likes you so i had no choice but to accept your relationship"

he said even though he looks normal outside , his stare at him showed how much he hate this conversation, the other party is smiling like an idiot not giving a shit about claude 's reaction.

" is that brat ok?!! he never smiled before " he mumbled to felix and he giggled

" people in love change claude, you were  like this too when you fall in love with diana, and he always smiles at athy , well only to her , pfft.. teenage  days are really awesome right?!" felix said in nostalgic tone, claude was silent listening to felix.

" Thank you , your majesty, " he said with a smile ,

" it feels weird to see you smile like an idiot , come and sit here i have something to tell you" he said and the three of them moved to the meeting room.

" i am going to announce you two as a couple officially " claude said .

" you mean their engagement ?!!" felix asked and he nodded a yes. lucas smiled again ,boy is so happy that his foot weren't still in the place

"pfft haha you must be happy lucas!!" felix said with a bright smile patting his back.

"but claude, why are you in a hurry ?!!" felix asked

" i can't stand those annoying bugs keep asking about her marriage  and i also have another plan in mind,  lucas "

he turned towards him. lucas sat straight .

" yes your majesty, wait, i can call you uncle right?" he asked in teasing tone

" no lucas you should call him father or father in law that would be appropriate" felix said and claude sighed like he is  done with them 

" call me whatever you want , but , promise me one thing ,it's a must  if you want my daughter " he said and lucas become silent

" you should first tell me the condition" he said in serious tone

" you must help me make athanasia the crown princess " he said and there is a dead silence

" what ?!!" he asked confused

" After she cured me , i started focusing on external affairs , so i am sure Alpheus is planning on taking the throne using jennet and ijekeil , i would never allow that, even when i was under the control of black magic , i never  thought jennete was  competent to rule the country , that's why i kept delaying the crown princess ceremony , now, i would definitely won't allow that to happen " he said

lucas gave it a thought and smiled

" so you already knew huh ..?!" he mumbled with a smirk

" Yeah, i knew that she doesn't want to become the queen , she wants to run away from this palace , she doesn't even want to be a princess , i know very well that i am the reason she become like this " he said and lucas saw sadness , guilt and regret in his eyes . he smiled a little

" father in law , don't worry , i will definitely help you convince her, actually i also don't want her to leave , no one other than her is deserving to be the queen , we have to make her understand that " he said and claude smiled a little.

' pfft, this father and son in law duo is perfect match, i am glad athy chose the right guy, if anyone wants to harm our athy they have to face this two crazy guys first hahaha ' felix thought and giggled

"huh what's with you ?!!" claude mumbled and felix nodded a no like it's nothing.

"then it is dealt with right?! congratulations on finding your perfect son in law claude " he said and claude stared at him annoyed. lucas gave him a proud smile.

" one more thing , you are marrying the future queen of obelia not the other way around , don't you dare try to take my daughter away from this palace " he said and lucas nodded a yes smiling

" of course i won't,  why would i ? i don't have anywhere to go with  her than my magic tower anyways " he shrugged

" oh my , why our future king is talking like this?!! you got us all lucas " felix said and smiled

" yeah, felix shift him to a palace, the mansion he currently staying is too small , make sure he doesn't lack anything " claude said and felix giggled nodding a yes

lucas stared at them surprised, he felt warmth sprinkling inside his heart, he fidgeted his fingers under the table

"Ac.. actually...he hesitated to talk and claude observed him

" I already knew. about your family .." he said and lucas looked up at him with a surprised face

" huh.. How..?!!" he asked in surprise.

" i knew very well about your so called father " he said , lucas saw his jewel eyes getting extra cold while mentioning about him, but somehow that coldness brought warmth to Lucas's heart"

he just smiled back nodding a yes.

" Let's arrange the engagement ceremony next month , prepare it in a grand manner , invite everyone and never miss anyone"

" huh.. that's rare coming from you , you dislike grand events though" felix asked confused

" yeah, i do, but this is the first event held for my daughter , we should make it big, and invite each and everyone so that they won't annoy us by asking about athy anymore " claude said and felix smiled nodding a yes.

" and Lucas... " he said turning towards him and he was smiling like an idiot staring at the wall, his hands on the table  holding his face, felix giggled seeing him.

" leave him claude, he is dreaming hahaha" Felix laughed

Lucas walked towards Ruby place ,the workers stared at him amused .

"Sir Lucas seems to be in such a good mood !!" One of the maids said He is walking while whistling happily .

"Cabel ..by any chance ..is that  Lucas ?!! I am not seeing things right ?!"  Nigel asked  cabel in disbelief.

Cabel smiled looking at him understanding  the reason for his  good mood  

" Hyung and princess must have reconciled ,there is no other reason which would make our Lucas hyung happier " Leo shrugged

"Oh..our youngest is brilliant !!! He does seem to come this way ,may be heading towards Ruby palace ?!" Rei said  patting Leo's head.

" Lucas.."cabel waved and he turend smiling at them ,he waved back as he walked towards them .

"The hell !! I would prefer him being grumpy , gaah..it feels weird to see him smile at me..see I am getting goosebumps !!"

Nigel said and they all chuckled.he took another glance at lucas and smiled

" However ..he look so pretty when he smile.."he mumbled and they all nodded a yes

"Hii guys " he greeted them  with a smile

" please don't smile like this ,my poor eyes "Nigel said and they chuckled

" Radiating right ?! This is why I don't smile often, I am actually doing you all a favour"

lucas shrugged with a smirk

"Seeing you smile ,I thought you hit your head somewhere cause you fight with  princess  ,but now I am relieved,you are completely alright "cabel said and sighed

" Hyung ..you become friends with athy noona right ?!"Leo asked with a bright smile

"Nope..we aren't friends anymore.."he shrugged with a smile

"What ?!!""Why ?!!""What the hell..no..!!!"

Except Leo all the guys reacted in lightning speed looking terrified Cabel got worried what if their  already crazy lucas go completely  crazy ?!!

Nigel and Rei are also worieed about the same thing and lucas can easily understand why they react like this .

"Shh..stop overreacting ,listen to what I am going to say fully , we upgraded From friends to lovers "

he said and they all gasped , there is a moment of silence and then complete chaos..

They all screamed and laughed hugging Lucas ,celebrating their friend 's love as well as their peace and freedom.

" Wait guys..listen fully "lucas said calming them down

"Huh..what's left to say ?!"cabel asked confused

"  we are getting engaged next month "

he said and they become silent again in shock this time.

"So , you mean our  majesty came to know about this and ...he..he agreed ?!!"

Nigel asked and he nodded a yes .

"Congrats lucas we are so happy for you.."

cabel said witha bright smile..lucas smiled back as he can feel how much they care about him..

They all hugged him and teased him calling him your  highness and all ,  he totally forgot why he was walking in that direction and spent his day fooling around with his friends
