athy was in her room sitting on her bed looking out at the moon. The cool breeze entering the room made her gold strands flutter.

Her lips curved into a smile as she felt the familiar mana in air.

Athy's p.o v.

I saw lucas landing on the railing and stood on it casually as if it's a flat floor and smiled at me .

"Lucas,careful.." I said getting up walking towards the balcony

"Pfft..Sia ,do you really think this silly railing would trip me ?!!" He asked smiling wide .

I observed his slightly blushed cheeks and Misty eyes ..this guy...

" You..you are drunk huh " I mumbled as he get down from the railing and hugged me tight ...hmm..so warm...

" Sia...I love you..." He mumbled ,my heart skipped a beat,

"Hmm..I love you too lucas.." i said and smiled as I patted his back .

" From what I know ,You aren't lightweight, just why did you drink this much ?!" I asked as he buried his face on my neck. his hot breathe caressing my skin made my body feel hot .

"Let's get inside first , " I said dragging him inside and dropped him on the bed . He is quite heavy . I sat beside him .

"Hayy.."he made noise as he rolled here and there and finally settled his head on my lap..pfft..he acts like a puppy..cute

" Today ...I partied with my friends..because I am so happy ..damn happy "

he mumbled with a stupid smile. pfft.. he looks damn cute like this .he hold my cheek with his one hand hand and gently caressed it .

" Pfft..I never thought there would comes a day I celebrate my engagement , if I told this to the past lucas how would he react ?!! He would call me crazy and would proudly say there is no girl who can make him fall in love ,he won't believe in that crap and so on .. but look at me now...I fall head over heals for you..." He said and smiled..

the moonlight and his black locks flutter on the wind, his beauty looked ethereal that I can't take my eyes off him. How can he casually say this and make my heart flutter ?!! Yet he would say he never dated before ..

" I waited for you all day ,so you were partying with your friends huh..?!!" I asked gently caressing his head . His hair is silky and smooth,I want to do this all day

"Hmm.. I was on my way to your room , but those guys interrupted me on the way ..then..I ended up like this .."he said and smiled sheepishly .

"Pfft .. fine fine..I understand ..so stop acting cute.." I said and he smiled.

I wish this moment never stops ..I would never get tired of spending time with him..even though he is annoying , cocky and tease me a lot ..I feel happy and every moment feels new when I am with him..

He hugged my waist as he buried his head on my tummy, I felt ticklish and chuckled.

"Lucas..go back for now..I can't wake you up in the morning ,then all the maids will see you " I said and he nodded a no loosening the hug

" I don't want to .. what's wrong with sleeping in my fiancee room ?!"he mumbled which made my heart skip a beat..what if it keeps skipping beats like this?! Haah...he will surely be the death of me...

" Yeah yeah...you are going to sleep beside me all your life so go back for now..."I said and he opened his Ruby eyes looking annoyed as he sat up

"Tch ...my girlfriend is so heartless "

he mumbled and i smiled at him as he vanished in thin air..god ..it would be good if he correctly teleported, this crazy guy

...The news of our engagement spread like wildfire , the court room was in chaos today and everyone surely got shocked , they must have thought he won't agree to this like he rejected others.

There is this funny rumour I heard that people were thinking the emperor kept on rejecting the marriage proposals because he doesn't want his daughter to leave him...I did nothing but laugh at that ..well..It may be true ..but I don't feel the same .

I doesn't feel hurt or dejected upon seeing him, like in past ,I am confused ,his sudden show of affection makes me wants to forgive him ,but .. I can't , at least not yet , If I do,I would feel so sorry for my past self ,if it's not for this miraculous regression I would be dead by now .

I walked out of the office to take a break ,people keep overly staring at me today because of the news and I can't concentrate at all . It's extremely uncomfortable .why can't they understand .?!! If I told this to the emperor , he would order everyone not to raise their heads in front of me.,If I tell lucas he would play some funny tricks with them, haah..come to think of it, both of them are crazy guys ,is this why Felix said I should be ready to handle them..?!!!

Like adding fuel to fire , ijekiel called me in melancholic voice.

I turned back to see him staring at me with a sad face ,like a wounded puppy ,

" Yes ..? "

" So ..are you and Lucas a thing now ?" He asked on a low voice" Yeah , we are dating "

" And our majesty agreed to it ?! Even helding your engagement next month ?!" He asked as if he can't beleive it .

" Yeah that's right " i said in a firm tone so that he could engraved it in his mind .

" You really love him? What do you like about him ?!" He asked .

" I don't think I have to answer this question " i mumbled

" Please answer me " he suddenly started rushing me .

I got silent for a minute .what I like about him ? My lips curved into a smile as I looked up at him straight in the eyes.

" I like everything about him " i said and he stared at me in disbelief

"Then , I will get going now " i said and took a few steps away but I heard him murmuring something and turned back

" What ?!" I asked and he looked straight at me.

" Last night , I had a strange dream , like he and I were close friends and I betrayed and killed Lucas , I was also a reason for your death " he said.and I froze from shock

" Yeah you also died in my dream , isn't my dream being cruel on me ?! Why would I kill him , why should I be the villain ?! He is the one who has it all now , he has YOU , he lacks nothing then why would he get killed by me making me a villain ?!

I would never do something like that to you , why would I became a part of your death ?! " He asked

We stood their in silence I looked around and strangely not a person can be seen in the vast corridor

" Are you asking me or yourself ?!" I asked and he let out a huge sigh

" Or ..you think it's not a mere dream ?!" I asked in a low voice and he looked up at me with eyes full of shock

" No ..I am saying , i wouldn't do something like that ...this time " he said his last words almost a whisper .

" So you remembered the past ?!" I asked and he stared at me shocked

" Cause I remember, everything , " I said and he suddenly knelt down , I think he is crying , but strangely i didn't feel an ounce of sympathy for him .

" Is that why you chose him..?! Cause he seems pitiful ?! Cause he was wronged and I was the villain ?! " He asked.

" You must be pretty caught up in this hero- villain thing , but this has nothing to do with you , even in the past , i had never liked you romantically , I liked you as a good friend and my cousin's fiance so you are going to be my family that's it , nothing more nothing less.

Lucas is the only guy I ever liked romantically so will you please stop comparing ?! " I said and he stood up suddenly walking towards me at a fast pace .

" Athanasia , i swear i didn't do anything myself , I was just there in all the bad situations" he said

" I know , if you want my opinion about that , I think it's cowardly of you to do that , just standing there doing nothing even if you know it's wrong , I will tell you the truth one time , I don't care ." I said and he stared at me confused

" Don't care about what ?" He asked

" About you , even in the past i never thought about your good natured character , I just thought you were treating me nice , a good guy , but now , I don't care at all , i don't care about you , what you did to Lucas was unforgivable , I would never forgive you for that but other than that I don't think about you much , why you did this and that i don't care about the reason " i said and he stood there silently .

For some reason i felt like a huge burden in my chest got lifted off , I turned back and walked away . He stood there like a statue with his head down .

What's going on ?! How did he also get his memories back ?! I should discuss this with Lucas .

She went to her room and she was on her balcony staring at the moon in daze .

" Sia "

She turned back and smiled .

" Hi Lucas, how's your day ? " she asked with a smile .

" Well.. as usual , what about you ? "

" Hmm.. nothing special .. no wait.. something happened today , i think Ijekeil also got his memories back " she said and Lucas stared at her with a blank face .

" Wait . Don't tell me you already knew ? " She asked and he averted his gaze from her .

" Lucas " she called her voice authoritative

" Yeah yeah i knew.. actually I was there , i didn't mean to hide myself and hear your conversation or anything , i will clarify that first , I was on my way to the tower and some nobles kept bothering me , you know since the engagement announcement they are buttering up to me , so annoying ,and that's why I was using invisible magic and walking to my tower, that's when I heard your conversation "

he said in a single breath and she stared at him silently for a minute ,

" Ok fine .so what do you think.?! How did he also get his memories back ?! " She asked and he sighed in relief as he walked closer and hugged her waist leaning his head on her shoulder taking in her scent . His haven .

" Lucas .. I am talking to you .. be serious " she said playfully scolding him as she caressed his raven locks .

" Hmm.. about that .. I also don't know , I did some research and it seems that damn world tree is playing some funny games right now . " He said parting from the hug and leaning on the railing..

" Why would it be ?! " She asked tilting her head .

" I looked into what this world was like without us , after our death , and it's chaos , without you , your dad also died and obelia got ruined , there is this huge monster break out , disease spreading throughout the continent killing vast population in every country , half of the population got swiped out .

I think it's all connected back to obelia , the use of black magic , I saw jennete ' s dad your supposed to be dead uncle in the throne and he was an embodiment of black magic ,

I concluded that the world tree helped your mom to turn back time so that it can also save the world " he said and athy stared at him surprised..

" That's awful , and is my uncle really alive ?!" She asked

" No he wasn't, what I saw was black magic using his body like a puppet, controlling him as it wishes " he said

" Then jennete will also remember ?! " She asked and he shrugged

" She might "

" What's the use of them remembering ? Jerks will be jerks anyways " she mumbled.

" Ijekeil used to glare at me pissing me off the roof , now I feel comfortable around him , today he can't even see my eyes and kept avoiding eye contact " he said and athy stared at him silently

" Are you ok ? Did he ask sorry to you ? " She asked and he smiled caressing her cheek..

" What's the difference sia ? I don't care about him just like you " he said with a smirk

" Geez are you teasing me ? " She pouted and he chuckled .

" I am glad I heard that , you have no idea how happy I felt hearing you say all that , my heart fluttered " he said clenching his heart and she giggled.

" Still he should have asked for your forgiveness ,not that he deserves it but you deserve an apology " she said

" I am not graceful like you to forgive him .but I think we could use this as a chance to block him from doing anything crazy , like putting a leash on him , quite perfect for that white doggy " he said with a smirk and athy stared at him surprised

" You are quite cunning Lucas , just like the Emperor " she said and smiled

" What to do ? You are a softie , one of us has to be tough you know " he said and winked .
