How did he know..?!!

I turned back and stared at him Surprised.. He is staring at me with such a calm face

"how did you know..?" I asked

" hmm.. I know.. I told you I know something about you which others don't.." he said in nonchalant tone..

Yeah he do said that.. Is that why I am Intresting to him..?

" yeah.. And how did you know..?" I asked ..

" before that how did you do that..? How did you turned back time.? " he asked.

" I don't know.. I met mom.. And she pushed me... And I came back.." I said and he stared at me dumbfounded.

" are we playing some kind of rapid fire round..? Explain clearly  " he said

I explained everything to him and he patiently listened.

" it's not like what you think... You are the one who turned back time, not your mom.. I told you.. your mana is unique and tremendous.. "

" but..

"it seems your mom knows about it.. That's why she did that.. And how come she is still with you..? What about the world tree..?" he mumbled..

"world tree..?" I asked and he nodded a yes

"you know about this right ..? When we die..our soul will travel to the  world tree.. It will decide whether to Make that soul reborn or not .. It's every memories  will be erased and it will reborn as new human or anything ..but.. Your mom seems to be still with you.. how did she escaped from the world tree..? " he said... I felt perplexed..

" I can't tell.. Whether I should feel or sad about it...I am happy that mom has been always with me.. Still.. What about her life..? She could have been reborn if it's not for this right..? "I mumbled and he nodded a yes

" I think something is strange.. She can't be like this... We can find the answer if  we reach the world tree.. But we shouldn't.. That's why she didn't told you anything... Let's Just go with the flow for now.. You may learn everything in future.."

he said as he stood in front of me so close and I again felt dizzy.. This time there is nothing to hold so I hold him standing there like a statue and I felt him flinch..

" don't teleport like this again.. Atleast inform me beforehand.. You jerk.. "I said as I walked dizzy and sit on my bed.. It's my room..

" I will try.. "he mumbled before disappearing..

This jerk confused me even more..everything is too shocking.. I have mana..?!! and It took me back in time..?!! Mom is not reborn yet... I can save people from black Magic..?!! Haah...that's too much information ...

I Flopped on my bed tired.... My head still feel slightly dizzy...

" princess..you aren't attentive.."

madam racheal shouted which made me flinch.. I apologised and started playing the piano again... . . I can't concentrate on anything today .. All I can think about is what happened yesterday.lucas wasn't in magic tower today so I can't ask him anything. I feel frustrated.. I stared at the moon which is shining bright unlike me.. I let out a deep sigh and went inside..

I was playing my piano to distract myself and I felt someone's presence... I rushed out and opened the balcony door..

"who..?

Lucas..? What is he doing here..? As soon as he looked up at me he turned back to the other side .. What.? I looked down confused and shit!!! My night dress..

I don't know it's him..I thought it would be some cat.. I rushed inside and took a shaul to cover myself..

" what are doing here.?" I asked and he slowly turned back still facing the side.

" I found about something so I came to tell you that..." he said.. He slowly turned and his face looked relieved to see me standing with my shaul..

" what.?" I asked and he stared at me straight in my eyes..

" I had  contacted the world tree with my master's help.. And it seems your mom was waiting for a wish of her to be fulfilled.. The world tree strangely granted  her a wish.. Once it's fulfilled.. She can get  reborn again " he said and I felt relieved.

"what's that wish might be..?" I mumbled..

" she didn't told you about that..?" he asked..

" You are my world... I don't want my daughter to die early after a life full of hardship.. You are only twenty .. I want you to live happily doing whatever you want and find a guy who loves you the most, have a family and be happy .... "

Her words echoed in my ears...

Lucas P. O. V.

Her face which was blank earlier turned painful..she looked down sadly like she is tormented by something..

'so that's what you wished for mom..?! For me..? You are staying with me to see me being happy..? What an amazing mother I got...!! Mom.. I will try.. I will try to be happy.. I don't know about other things.. But I am gonna do whatever I want and be happy.. I will Try to...'  she thought and gulped her surging sobs from overwhelmed emotions inside her ..

she looked up after sometime.. Her face slowly changed to normal.

" thanks for telling me this lucas.." she said and smiled...

Bathump...bathump....she is smiling truly this time... And.. It's gorgeous...I can't react and she looked down ... She is thinking about something sad again.. This idiot..

Athy's P. O. V.

" you are having useless thoughts again.." he said and flicked my forehead

Strangely my head felt lighter.. Like everything that's weighing my mind is gone..what did  he do just now..? I looked up at him Surprised and I am moving inside on my own.. He is using magic again..

" go and sleep.."

he said and my body lied down on the bed and bedsheet hugged me itself..it feels warm after standing in the cold outside..

" what..? Do you need a lullaby.?" he asked with a smirk

" hmph..i am not a child.."

I said as I turned to the other side.. He is always teasing me.. I wish I can smash that handsome smug face... Hmph..but...Thinking about it.. It's strange.. After meeting him.. Whenever I feel down, he is with me.. Do something crazy and make me forget about it.. He even took effort to find about mom.. He is weird but good guy.

" lucas.." I mumbled and he hummed back.. He is still here.

"sweet dreams"

I mumbled and he is silent.. I don't want to turn back and see his face so I just shut my eyes as I feel sleepy..

P. O. V. Ends..

Lucas slowly walked towards her and she turned to his side in sleep..he sit on the chair beside and stared at her silently..

His hand slowly reached her hair which is all over the place and played with it..Swirling it on his finger

' I was too surprised to see you earlier .. I don't know you would be  Playing a note in piano soulfully, looking fucking sexy in your night dress..' he thought..

suddenly he got reminded of ijekile's words from past

"Athanasia.. She is like an angel..Her beauty is ethereal.. I feel like I started loving her as soon as I saw her.. Did you heard of love at first sight lucas...? I think I felt that.. She is the twist which made my life upside down.. She is irresistible.. You may ignore me now but you will be jealous of me once you saw her.. Not only you everyone will.. "

I ignored his words back then, but.. Why does it feels so irritating now..? he thought as he stared at her with a blank face.....

Lucas was standing near the window in his room far from the main palace.. A big eagle flew and sit on his hand as he held his hand out. He took out a small scrolled paper tied in it's leg

' Haah.. What now..? I have to find those mongrels..? And there is no trace again..?'

He sighed in frustration as he switched something on..his master's image appeared from a magic box like a hologram

"I know you would call me frustrated." his master said smirking

" finding them isn't a problem. But there is no trace..? Then how the fuck I can find them..?" he asked pissed.

" I asked princess athanasia for help.."

"what..?"

"yeah.. After you told me about her mana I checked it for myself and she is really gifted..that day I thought her mana is pure but it's strong.. Just take her with you... You can find them easily  "

" you are using her" lucas said in blank tone..

" she agreed.. Shut your mouth and do what I say" his master said in teasing tone and disappeared.. . . . " are you dumb..? He is clearly using you why did you agreed..?" he asked athy who is sitting their writing her lessons

" how can I deny the request of a legendary magician.? He pleaded to me I can't say no "

she said her eyes still glued to her book.

"then be ready to suffer.. Let's go to the town tomorrow around ten a.m.. I will come to pick you up.."

he said and she looked up at him..and he disappeared . . .

" athy dear.. Be safe OK..?" lily said with a worried face

" don't worry lily .. She is going with lucas.. The grand wizard and magic swordsman.. She can't be more safe than being with him..."

felix said and lily smiled at him..

She saw lucas walking lazily with his hands on his pant pockets towards her room ... Every palace maids crossing by are staring at him with a blush

'he is annoyingly handsome...' she thought as she stood up..

"then I will get going lily... Bye felix"

she said and they waved them bye... She walked out and he stared at her with a blank face

" shall we go..?" she asked

" what colour do you like..? For your eyes.?"

he asked and she remembered she have to hide her eyes.. She thought about it and smiled at him..

"rose .." she said and smiled thinking about her mom..

" like your mom..? " he mumbled.. She looked at him her eyes slowly changed into rose..

"how did you know..?!! "

"I saw her image.. Master showed me.. It's in the world tree soul files.." he mumbled and she nodded a yes..

" let's go.." he said and she nodded a yes as they walked out.. They teleperted to the market after some distance cause lucas is lazy to travel all the way ...

" still feeling dizzy ? "he asked and she nodded a yes

" but better than last time. "she mumbled.. As she gently hold his folded arm for support ..

" yeah.. You will get used to this... "he said.. She slowly opened her eyes and the market is bustling... She looked around happily...

" you are acting as if it's your first time. "he mumbled staring at her looking at everything with her doe eyes wide in excitement

" it is.. "she replied as her eyes landed on a cotton candy..

" what..?!!  you never went outside?!! "he asked surprised and she nodded a yes

" I didn't and if I did.. it's always planned trip on a carriage and the roads will be cleared.. So I don't know how the real market looks like.. " she mumbled staring at it for a while.

" typical royal family thing.." lucas scoffed

" lucas.." she called him tugging to his sleeve.

" what is that..? " she asked pointing at it lucas turned and stared at her dumbfounded

" you don't know cotton candy..?" he asked and she nodded a no..

"is it tasty..? That looks like cloud.. Cute" she said staring at it with stars in her eyes.. Lucas stared at her, his lips curved into a small Smile which he have no idea of..

" let's go.." he said as he bought her a cotton candy.. Athy stared at it smiling like a child ..

" aren't you gonna eat it..?"

"it's just.. this looks so pretty I don't want to eat it.." she mumbled looking at it..

'what the... Why is she suddenly being cute..?'

he thought and smiled bright when her expression turned bright after eating it...

" it's so good..yummy " she said smiling..

" yeah.. Eat whatever you want.. We still have time.." he said and she smiled bright

"really..? then..lets go.. I want to try..." she started listing food items as she dragged him everywhere..

He looked down at their hands.. How she is holding His hand tight.. Her hand perfectly fit inside his..

'I Think.. I have to get used to this..I don't hate this, still... ' he thought a small smile danced on his lips...
