Nancy's POV

Three years hence...

Life has been beautiful since that night at the lake, though I wanted to hide this little secret of mine from Jungkook till his birthday, I told him about our baby that day. I still can't forget how happy and emotional he looked. It felt as if he has got all the riches and the happiness of the world, he was literally dancing with joy. Our families were also very happy and the blessing which were showed upon me were too many.

Sometimes when I sit back and think about us, there's so much to remember. Who knew that one night planned together which was meant to him as a way of exerting all his sadness and frustration and for me was a way to learn how to have sex, would turn out like this. It took hardly any time for my groom to change from Jimin to Jungkook. An unwanted man, a very wierd marriage under very unusual circumstances.

If I try to apprehend the things at that time, it is really magical and confusing. Remembering how we had met and where we were now. My eyes fall upon Janice, our little bean. She was three years old now and three years before on this day, she had blessed us by taking birth.

She was playing with her doll, sitting on the bed, surrounded by all kinds of toys. Jungkook had always wanted a baby girl, but I somewhere wanted a baby boy. But be it a girl or a boy, the little bundle of joy was ours.

Since the days she has set her feet in our lives, it has turned more magical. The way my entire day passed by taking care of her. I have taken a break from teaching and going to work because I want to spend most of the time with my little baby girl. Jungkook can't stop his business so he spends the entire evening and night. The way he's obsessed with each little thing of hers is indescribable. He is extra protective about her as well.

On the day of her birth, Taehyung had come to meet us, also Jimin. It was so good to see Jimin after a long time. He didn't say much to me and congratulated us on this special moment of our lives. He had married some girl back in Korea, suggested by his family. Taehyung and Arena were together now and they had two baby boys, Max and Cooper. Both of them were twins. Both healthy and chubby.

Every Saturday or Sunday, Arena would come with them to meet me, and they loved playing a lot with Janice. The excitement in their eyes when they met her and the way they played together, it was such a fun scene to see.

We haven't heard of Mia since then. Jungkook never liked her and after those incidents which happened, she became more despicable in his life. Mom sometimes comes to visit us, and whenever she comes it's a treat for my Korean daughter as she gets to eat tteokbokki and Korean dishes which I can't make.

I close the book I had been reading and taking the empty cup of tea, go towards the kitchen. It's evening time and we should get ready as Jungkook is going to celebrate his precious bean's birthday with lots of zeal and enthusiasm. The decorators have been here since morning and the entire lawn and porch has been decorated. There is going to be a grand celebration as she has turned three today.

Mom couldn't come because dad fell seriously ill, my mom and dad are going to come today to meet me. After our marriage, mom and dad had cut off all times with me because of that humiliation they suffered but hearing the news of their grand child, they couldn't resist and again we had united.

I go back to the bedroom and take out a beautiful red dress for myself. It's Janice's birthday and it should be celebrated very beautifully. I pick up Janice and remove the rubber of the toy she had been biting upon.

"Gods, baby! What are you even putting in your mouth!" I slap her cheek lightly and then move to the closet.

Taking out a beautiful pink frock for her and a matching crown, both me and my daughter started getting ready.

Janice is going to be a big mess while I ready her up and this was the most difficult job for me. I gently remove her dress and make her wear a new diaper. Indeed kids are poop factories!Her little feet slowly get inserted in the sandals while I put the buckle on. She looked no less than a fairy in that attire.

"Baby, daddy's going to come home soon! Then we will party!" I made her do a little happy dance which filled both of us with joy.

Within no time, I straightened up my hair, put on a dark red lipstick and wore the red heels. I was looking good but less pretty than my little bean.

While both of us were busy looking at each other, there was a knock at the door. I asked the maid to open it, while I gently took Janice in my arms and walked downstairs.

"Babe!!!!" Rida came running in with her arms wide open.

She was back from Turkey after her honeymoon. "Omg!!! My beautiful baby!" She took Janice from my hands and poked her cheeks lightly. "She is so cute oh God!"

"How was your honeymoon, mistress!" I chuckled offering her a seat as she continued to play with Janice.

Janice loved to play with people. She was not like those kids who only want to be in their mumma's arms or dad's. She was the one who would love to get mixed up with anyone. Right now, she was holding onto Rida's necklace and trying to make the pearl reach her mouth so that she could eat that too.

"It was beautiful but not more than this baby!" She planted a kiss on Janice's cheek.

"Then why don't you get babies hmm?"

"Yes, Adil and I have been thinking about this a lot and since two years have passed since our marriage, we think we should extend our family." She smiled.

Adil was her husband. He was from Lahore, Pakistan and was well settled in the USA. It was an arranged marriage which happened between them but the two of them were really happy together. I couldn't pray for more happiness for Rida than she already had right now.

The two of us kept chattering and talking when Adil came in between. He was a good looking young man, with black hair. His wheatish skin colour and those brilliant features just like Rida. The two of them were definitely a match made in heaven.

"What's going on here Nancy? Everything is decorated outside!" Arena entered the room.

I rushed towards her and gave her a quick hug. "Oh my! You look absolutely gorgeous my darling." I tapped her shoulder as she passed a smile at me.

"Where are you children?" I asked and she pointed outside.

I took my leave from there and went outside to check the preparations. Everything was being managed very nicely when my eyes fell upon my man.

"Jeon..." I said and he turned around. He was giving some advice to the waiter.

"Oh baby!" He said and came towards me. I pulled him into a hug as he gave me a peck on my lips.

"Looking absolutely ravishing and feisty!" He licked his lips and I tapped his shoulder.

"You!" I giggled. "You look sexy too!"

He looked beautiful in the white suit he was wearing. I couldn't believe that I had been this lucky to have found the man of my dreams. He pulled me towards him as his hands traced my cheeks. I just smiled looking at him lovingly.

"It's her birthday!" I mumbled.

"So what?" He touched my lips now. His grasp on my waist is tightening. "Can't I love you now hmm?"

"We have the entire night for us luvaa!" I said.

He slowly twirled me and made me dance as his eyes never left me.

"Luvaa, you don't know how much you turn me on!" He said, the waiters and everyone started staring at us.

Jungkook's POV

Nothing was coming in my mind except for how much I loved this woman standing before me. I brought her closer to me and looked at her hands and said, "These lines on your hand say that you belong to me!"

She was blushing, just like her dress, her cheeks turned red too. Taehyung and Arena had come out with others as they looked at us dancing together.

"Guys chill, it's your daughter's birthday!" Rida said chuckling.

I pulled Nancy closer, her hot breath hitting against the skin of my face. I gently caressed her smooth skin. "Luvaa, I don't care about others, let them see!"

She looked at me with widened eyes. Those beautiful big eyes, with big eye lashes, her red eye shadow and golden highlights. She was looking like a deity. "Let them see how much this man loves you!"

I connected my lips with hers as the crowd started to applaud in happiness. Suddenly Taehyung pinched me, "Your in-laws are coming this way."

Hearing this both of us stood a bit separate as we welcomed them. The moment her mother saw her granddaughter, they started to kiss and hug her. Nancy and I just looked at each other and laughed. The two of them were fighting to hold Janice.

Nancy, the moment I saw you, I realised that you were different.... You made me feel something in my stomach. I couldn't help but make you mine. And now when I look back, I think that was the best decision I made that day. The way you came into my life, and turned everything in bliss is something I can't thank you enough for.

"Guys let's cut the cake now before Janice falls asleep!" Rida yells in excitement.

We all stand around the decorated table where the strawberry cake for my princess is kept. I take her in my arms and look at her. "God bless you sweetheart!" I said patting her head.

The crowd started to hoot and clap as I make my daughter cut the cake softly. Nancy stood beside us as she looked at us lovingly. Janice was too little to eat the cake so I made her lick some cream from my hands and then made Nancy eat some cake. "Happy birthday princess!" Nancy ate the cake and made Janice lick some cream too.

Our family was complete, I thought as I looked at Janice who was crying and Nancy was trying to make her silent. Rida and Adil were busy taking our pictures. Taehyung couldn't do anything but beat Max as he had hit Cooper. Cooper was hiding in his mother's embrace. I just smiled at them. Nancy's mom and dad were happy and smiling too.

Everywhere there was happiness and joy. Some relations bring so much happiness in your life that no matter how much you thank the heavens for it, it feels very less. God had taken Daisy from me to gift me so many happy moments and such a beautiful wife. Not only a wife, he had also blessed me with my princess Janice.

Nancy asked me to hold Janice as she went to clean some cake off her dress. I looked at my baby girl who was chewing something again. I took a seat and a tissue paper. Gently holding her little hands, I wiped the cream of the cake off her fingers. "You're a good girl na, why do you get dirty?" I asked her. She giggled in response.

"There's something like a line of gold thread running through a man's words when he talks to his daughter, and gradually over the years it gets to be long enough for you to pick up in your hands and weave into a cloth that feels like love itself." - John Gregory Brown.

Author's POV

I stood there looking at them. Jungkook and Nancy were together laughing and chortling as the baby slept in Jungkook's arms. The way the two of them were discussing about her eyes, her nose and who she resembled more. She was more like Nancy but no one could stop Jungkook from saying that she looked entirely like him.

I picked up the cake the waiter served me. My eyes were teary now. The love of my life was leading the most lovely life right now. To see him, like this all smiling and chuckling made me remember how I had smiled three years back when I had seen him for the first time.

My eyes wander around to find Taehyung baby sitting both his sons as his wife fed the three of them, Taehyung, Cooper and Max. Adil and Rida looked at the babies and planned a future in their minds.

What to talk about the happiness of those parents who could see their daughter living like a queen with the most admirable man as her husband?

The family was complete indeed. I wipe off the tears from my eyes. I am glad to have witnessed this scene. Jungkook holding his baby in his hands, smiling and laughing with his wife.
