Nancy's POV

Night falls as I look out of the window of my room. "Where is he today? Why hasn't he arrived home?"

Clouds of disturbing thoughts surround my mind. What if something bad happens to him? Where can he be? Is he alright? I reached out to mom's room. She was reading something sitting on her armchair.

"Nancy!" A smile forms on her lips as soon as she witnesses me.

"Mom," I go and sit beside her on the bed. "Jungkook isn't home yet. I'm worried about him!"

She caressed my cheeks and said, "Relax honey. Sometimes the work can get too much, he'll be back soon."

"Can I sit in your room for the time being." I ask her and she happily nods. I didn't wanted to be alone in my room, otherwise the negative thoughts won't find an end.

It's been some days since that incident happened. Mia has decided to leave the house tonight. She had been staying here because her work came, and the project has to be completed from LA, hence we didn't ask her to leave.

Jungkook had told mom about him and me, and she was happy to see me. She also took me shopping and gifted me many things which once were given to her by her mother in law. She was a sweetheart. She had decided to leave with Mia as well. No matter what happens, she had always treated Mia like her daughter and so she was always concerned about her.

About my pregnancy, I haven't told anyone about it except for my parents and Taehyung who already knows it because he saw the reports. Jungkook's birthday is nearing in September, so I have decided to tell him on his special day. It will add more joy to the day.

I sat there looking at the room,and then in between taking my phone and watching things when a message pops on my screen.

Jeon❤️✨Get ready by eleven. We're going out today!

I start to smile as soon as I see the text. The first reason is that I'm relieved, that he's alright and the second, because we're going to spend time together.

Days have been so busy, and we hardly get time to hold hands with each other, forget spending time. But now as he has decided this, I can't help but be excited.

I told mom about the text and she asked me to get ready. I come into my room with a sandwich in my hands and open my cupboard. In these pregnancy days I have started to feel more hungry than usual.

"Let's see what we got here!" I munch on the sandwich as I look through the closet trying to find something nice to wear to our special date.

After looking around for about ten fifteen minutes, my eyes fell on a beautiful frill dress. It was up to below my knees and was white in colour with pink flowers printed on it. Pink has always been a beautiful and soft colour and white has its elegance of its own.

Taking the dress, I enter the washroom and freshen up. After wearing the outfit, I curl my hair up, and apply a light pink blush on my cheeks. Some mascara on my eyelashes make them look bold and longer, as I also press my lips against the luscious pink lipstick.

I look at the clock, it's ten minutes to eleven and as I'm watching this, I hear the honking of the car. I ran down taking my side bag waving mom a bye.

Mia's POV

I gave a last look to each and everything in the room. It was my last night here and now I'm leaving Jungkook forever. In these many days I have realized that even after my apologies, I still don't own any place in his heart, not even if a friend.

I wipe off the tears from my eyes and pick up the photo frame of Jungkook kept on the right side drawer. As I trail my fingers against it, a few drops of tears fall on its glass.

"Jungkook... I swear I loved you too much and to that extent that I forgot what was right and wrong. Jungkook I have been looking at you since I was a girl, and you have always taken me by suprise. Whenever your eyes met mine, they had hatred but my love, I always loved you and I never thought bad of you. How can I even? Maybe this love which I had for you, turned into an obsession. I started to want you like anything. That's when I came to know about Nancy! I didn't know that you guys were happy together, I just knew your part of the story which I got to know from your friends. But now as I have known this fact that I'm nothing to you, I don't want to carry this weight in my heart. I want to be free Jungkook!" I said and threw the photo frame on the floor.

The glass of the frame shattered and what remained was the photograph. I picked up the photograph and clicked on my lighter. I placed the flame on the right hand corner of the photo and it caught fire. I threw it on the floor and sat there as it turned into ashes, the way my love for him died.

Jungkook you'll always be the one, I loved and my first love but I can't let this love destroy any of our lives now.

I picked up my belongings from the table and dragged out my suitcase from there. Aunt had also come out with her luggage, seeing me she had understood that I had been hurting and crying inside.

She caressed my hair and the driver started to keep our stuffs in the car.

"It's all going to be okay!" Aunt said to me and hugged me while we drove back to airport.

Author's POV

Jungkook pressed the horn of the car once again, when he saw someone coming towards him. It was her. It takes him just two minutes to understand that she's here.

The moment the yellow lights of the car headlight falls upon her, his eyes widen with the ethereal beauty he witnessed. She was looking way too beautiful with curled hair, and a pink dress. He can't take his eyes off her and then there's a knock on the window pane. She was here.

"Open the gate mister! How do I enter?" She giggled. He has lowered the window glass to listen to her voice.

He opens the lock of the car and she sits beside him.

Contrary to him, who looked all wan and wasted she was looking as if she just came out of a bath. She looks at him and uses her fingers, combs his hair to make them look less messy.

(PS: Jungkook looks smexy even in messy form)

He pulls her closer and plants a kiss on her forehead. "I love you! You look like an angel!"

She can't help but blush at the statement. "I love you too baby!"

Jungkook starts the car and they start towards the destination he has planned for them tonight.

"Where are we going at this hour of the night?" She asks.

"It's a surprise. I was in a meeting today, and in one of the presentations, this location came. I researched about it a bit and thought why not take you here?" He chuckled, passing a smile to her.

"Now I'm really curious about what it has to be."

In an hour or so, they finally reached the place. It was a jungle. Drops of sweat appeared in Nancy's forehead as she saw Jungkook stopping the car and smirking at her.

She comes down the car and looks at him, "Why have we come to a jungle darling?"

"Because here all the wild happens!" He smirked again.

Nancy kept looking at the big wild trees, bushes and shurbs... Areas where people might kill someone and leave and no one can find them again.

He held her hand and pulled her close to him. "Luvaa, what happened?" He asked cupping her cheeks.

"Jeon, what is this place?" She was almost about to cry.

"I was kidding babe. Let me show you the real thing!" He said and holding her hand walked along the big trees.

The whole jungle was dipped in darkness, the night sky looking serene. It was a full moon night today. One could hear the wolves growling from some corner of the jungle. The atmosphere was cold but scary. Nancy was shivering in fear. What has Jungkook to do with this jungle? What if he's a werewolf or something? Weird unusual thoughts kept surrounding her mind when he suddenly closed her eyes with his hands.

"What are you doing?" She placed her own hands on his in order to remove them.

"What comes ahead is the surprise!" He said and continued to walk ahead.

She could only feel pitch of darkness surrounding her but then things started to lighten a bit. She could feel piercing heat and light trying to enter her eyes and that time he removed his hands.

What stood before her took her by surprise? She was standing there in bewilderment. She was a fool to believe that Jungkook would have brought her here for something else but a surprise.

There were lights all around. Amidst the big lushy grasses which were heighted till the waist of her, there was a lake. The area was all covered with lamps, and lanterns, a few candles on the rocks, lights hanging all around.

"What the actual fuck?" She covered her mouth in excitement.

"This was the surprise! How is it luvaa?" He asked, hugging her.

"Oh my God Jungkook! I haven't seen anything as beautiful as this in my entire life. How did you find this place?!"

He caressed her back and then told her that was still one surprise left. The two of them sat on the edge of the lake with their feet dipped in the water.

In the lap of the nature and the cool fluid around their feet, they couldn't think of anything else but the love they had for each other. Looking back at how they started to what they were presently made Nancy's eyes wet.

Jungkook kept on focusing on Nancy's side profile. The way her lips seemed from the side, the curls of her hair adorning her milky skin of the neck, the revealed part of her shoulders, it was all a bliss. He couldn't help but adore her.

Nancy caught him staring at her and she patted his shoulder. "What are you upto big boy?"

He caught her by her arms and made her face him. "Nancy I can't help it!" He said and pressed her lips against her soft ones.

For some time Nancy, held back and then her arms snaked around his neck, as she pulled him closer. Their chests collided and so did their tongues in her mouth. The kiss was ecstatic and the two of them were not ready to give it up right now. There was a whole lot of sucking, moulding and kissing happening and their bodies craved for more.

After a while when they stopped kissing, Jungkook had the other surprise to reveal to her.

"Nancy look there!" He pointed towards the other corner of the lake, from where they could see something coming towards them. The only indicator of it was the light on the edge of the boat.

The boatman came near them and stopped after reaching the edge. "From here we will take charge!" Jungkook gave the old man a hand and made him go.

Nancy stood there, her eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing. First a jungle, then a beautiful lake inside, then the lights which surrounded her. The beautiful night sky, twinkling stars and the cool breeze and now the most amazing thing. There was a boat, a boat decorated with rose petals all over and pink and golden lights. Jungkook had prepared all this for her. It was no special day, neither any of their birthday nor any anniversary then why was all this being done?

Jungkook looked at her and smiled, he held a packet in his hand now. "What are you waiting for sweetheart?" He said and taking her hand slowly got on the boat.

Nancy sat on the boat, touching the cool water which flowed, playing with the rose petals, as Jungkook stood there looking at her baby, who was all giggling and smiling. He used the oars and then after some time turned the boat into the mechanical way up, in which they didn't had to put any efforts as such. He took out some rose petals from the packet and showered it on her.

"I can't believe Jeon, you were this romantic!" She was giggling.

"See for yourself!" He said and kept on showering the roses on her as she laughed and collected them to throw some of them on him too.

After playing with the petals, he came and sat opposite her. He opened the packet again and took out cupcakes from inside. He made her eat some cake and looked at her.

"Choco chip flavour is my favourite!" She moaned with joy.

"I know baby!" He caressed her head.

"Jeon, why all this today? Out of nowhere hmm?" She had started eating the cakes with her own hand now.

"There's no particular day to celebrate love. You know Nancy, since the time you came into my life, for some days I didn't treat you right and no matter how much you say that I should forget those days, I can't help thinking about how bad I was to you. But now as I have realized that you're the one made for me, I don't ever want you to feel unloved in my care and embrace. I want to celebrate you and to love you like mad and if this is craziness what I do for you, I never want to become normal ever again."

Nancy couldn't help but hug him. The two of them were in each other's arms and they craved nothing more.

The feeling they were witnessing right now was the actual feeling of love. To be with each other through all thicks and thin, when you start feeling home in someone's embrace, when that one human becomes the sole purpose of your living.

Nancy and Jungkook slept on the boat, hugging each other, amidst those lights and roses. The air blew softly over their faces making them smile.

It was definitely not just a ROAD GIG.
