Epilogue

Leo, Donnie, Mikey, and Casey sat on the couch as Raph and I stood in front of them. "We have something we'd like to tell you." I said hoping my face wasn't as red as it felt.Raph smirked and took my hand, lacing his fingers with mine. "We're together." Raph announced with satisfaction giving my hand a squeeze.There was a moment of silence before Mikey let out a loud breath."Finally! I didn't know how much longer I could hold it in!" He said slumping back on the couch."Didn't we know this already? You know, when Casey beat you up?" Donnie asked confused. "Yes, but now it's official." I said feeling like I was glowing. "He didn't beat me up. He got a lucky punch." Raph glowered."Keep telling yourself that bro." Casey said getting up and clapping Raph on his shell. "And if this goes south, I might get a few more." Raph rolled his eyes."You know, I thought I noticed something strange going on but I didn't know how to ask. I didn't want either of you to hit me." Leo chuckled uncrossing his arms and shoving his younger brother. "You wouldn't have gotten anything out of her. It took the jaws of life to get her to admit it." Raph said smacking my ass making his brothers groan in a mixed chorus of annoyance and distaste. "Great, now we get to deal with that." Donnie grumbled. "Welcome to the club man." Mikey said slinging his arm over his older brother's shoulder.I laughed at the feeling of unbridled freedom spreading through my chest. There was still an ocean of shit to sift through but I wasn't alone in it anymore. My heart could continue to heal, right alongside Raph as long as he'd have me. To the displeasure of everyone in the room Raph pulled me into him and leaned his face down to mine."Raph, don't make them uncomfortable." "Miya." He mocked mimicking my tone. "I don't give a damn, I'll kiss you whenever I want." He brought his lips down to mine and in it I felt every silent promise he was making me.It looked like Raph was more than willing to have me around, with no intention of ever letting me go.
