It was a three day weekend. It was Monday, there was a school holiday on Monday so none of the girls had to attend school for the day. Oh well, more fun for them.
Anne was laying down on the couch with Domino the cat sleeping curled up on her stomach. She was thinking about many things. Bad things. Things like how nobody ever cared to ask about how Anne viewed certain things. Or how people always assumed something about her. She hated it. She hated how people always said things about her but didn't even care to think about how she viewed it.
'Everyone thinks I'm perfect, I'm not. I'm a dumb and gullible idiot because I have been betrayed and manipulated multiple times because I'm a dumb and forgiving idiot. I literally got me and my friends lives in danger just because we all wanted to make some memories, I wish I would have followed my gut feeling. I hate the stares I get, everyone thinks random things just because I'm pretty. I can't go anywhere in public without people staring at me. Many people think of me as some type of model, no. Even Sasha and Marcy tell me that I could be a model. I don't want to be some kind of pretty-faced model, I want to be me. I hate being labeled beautiful instead of me.'
'What ever I put on or how I look, I just want to be able to see the same me looking back.'
'Marcy might see me and call me a model but that's different... I'm in love with her. But Sasha.... Whenever I see her I get the same feeling that I get with Marcy so It's confusing. Could I be in love with her too?Β God this is so confusing. How will I know who to give up on and who to confess to? What if one of them share my feelings? What if both of them share my feelings? Oh god they're gonna be so sad.'
'Nobody likes being a second option.'
Anne's thoughts were interrupted when she saw a small pink frog jumped onto the top of the couch. "Hey Anne! How ya doin?"
"I'm fine, nothing much is going on." Anne responded.
Anne, forgetting about Domino the cat sleeping on her stomach, gets up from the couch and Domino immediately falls from her stomach and onto the floor.
Sprig then pointed at the cat on the floor and let out a laugh. "Ha-ha! Cats don't do that."
Everything was hard for Anne to focus on, too many things were going on for her to comprehend. She couldn't focus on Sprig speaking to her, she couldn't focus on her cat laying on the floor in defeat, nor could she focus on Polly running from Hop-pop with her tiny legs and mud all over her body.
...
..
.
"Hey Sash, are you doing okay over there?" Marcy asked, looking over at Sasha worriedly.
The two were standing in front of Sasha's home, her parents were finally home after being gone for about a week.Β
And Sasha was about to tell them something shes been waiting to tell them for a long time.
"Y-Yeah, I'm just a little nervous that's all. I know how my parents are, they never have good reactions to anything. Lets just hope they don't freak out at what I'm about to tell them now." Sasha relucted.
"I wish you the best Sash." Marcy gave her an assuring nod.
"T-Thank you." Sasha rubbed the back of her neck.
Sasha then walked up the stairs to her porch, once she approached the door she knocked a couple of times and waited for one of her parents to open the door. Awkward silence filled the air, until Sasha finally heard footsteps approaching the door. The door finally opened and she was met with her mother. Her blonde hair was wild and she had dark circles under her eyes. She looked like a complete drug addict.
And she reeked of alcohol.
Her mother held the door for her as she entered. Sasha looked back at Marcy and Marcy shot her an assuring grin before the door was shut behind her.
"So, what brings you home so early? I thought you'd spend the whole day hanging out with those nerds. Such an awful fashion sense they have! And they don't even have beautiful silky beautiful blonde hair like mine! Ugh! Utterly ridiculous!" Mrs. Waybright complained.
"Mom they aren't nerds, they just care about their future success unlike a certain someone." Sasha rolled her eyes.
"Anyways there's something I wanted to speak to you and dad about. Could you maybe call him down here for me? It's sort of important and I felt like you guys needed to know about it." Sasha nervously fumbled her fingers.
"Yeah yeah sure. I'll have something to yell at you about during my free time." Mrs. Waybright rolled her eyes.
Mrs.Waybright then called her ex-husband downstairs. He looked the exact same as her, they both looked fucked up. His blonde hair was wild like hers, he had dark circles under his eyes, and he was dressed like a complete homeless person.
He also reeked of alcohol too.
His face went from normal into a big frown. He sat down on the couch and intertwined his fingers together as he raised an eyebrow. Her mother did the same thing.
"So, what's this about? If it isn't important then I promise to get you an expensive perfume if you leave me alone." Mr. Waybright said.
"No, you aren't going to bribe me with anything anymore. You're my parents, I should feel like I'm able to talk to you guys about anything without being shut down and bribed with expensive things." Sasha frowned.
"Ok, if It's that important then I guess I'll listen. If it isn't, then you're gonna have to hold out your wrists for what'll happen next." He warned.
Sasha's breath shuddered at her fathers words. She then gulped and nodded.
"So, this is something I've been holding in for a long while now. Ever since I was eleven years old. I was just too afraid to say anything." She admitted.
"So you've been keeping secrets from us? Since when do fabulous mothers and daughters hide things from each other? We're both amazing parents, you have nothing to hide from us darling... The both of us are both healthy and we treat you like a princess!" She fake smiled.
Mhm, sure.....
"You guys are kind of making me nervous now, I'm having second thoughts about this already. I don't know if I want to reveal this to you guys anymore." Sasha rubbed the back of her neck.
Sasha's mother quickly got up and stood over her with big wide eyes and a stern look. Sasha began to feel her heart start beating out of her chest in fear. Mrs. Waybright then opened her mouth to say something. "You will tell us about what you have to say."
"End. Of. Discussion."
Sasha gulped once again, her heart rate began to calm down once her mother stopped standing over her and sat back on the spot she was sitting before. She then gripped the bottom of her shirt and stared down at her feet as she felt a sweat drop roll down her temple. "Um, I....""Talk girl." Her dad demanded.
"I-I-I'm bisexual." She forced herself to say.
"I like men and women. A-And that's just how I am, you can't change me. And I'm in love with Anne and Marcy."
"Oh no dear that wont work. You need ONE lover that actually treats you like a princess. ONE that doesn't always have their nose in a book. ONE that actually buys you any expensive gift you want. You need to get yourself a man that you can actually get married to, not some girls you have a crush on in school. Those two aren't very pretty either, and their fashion sense is just ridiculous! I'd be embarrassed to be around them if I were friends with them!" Mrs. Waybright complained.
"Plus you're messed up in the head, you're traumatized. Your a manipulative liar. Also are you that obsessed with them to the point where you'll hang out with them every day of your life!? There's not a single day when I see you home and if you are home then It's because those two ladies are busy or something. You can live without those girls, It's not like you're gonna die if you aren't with them."
"First off, Anne and Marcy ARE pretty. They're beautiful infact. The only thing that isn't very pretty is you. It's sad that the first thing I had to see right as soon as I came out of the womb was your face. You're a nasty, manipulative person and I hate your guts. And don't even act like you don't know the reason you never see me at home. The reason you never see me at home is because you're never at home. And of course I'd hang out with my friends every day, I see them as role models. It's sad that I want to grow up to be more like my friends than my own parents. The gender I like doesn't define me as a person, I'll still be the same person no matter what gender I like. And you can't talk bout me being 'obsessed,' you guys are divorced for gods sake and you two still live together just so that you can argue when you're bored, it seems like your the one that's obsessed." Sasha responded.
"You don't get to talk to me like that I AM YOUR MOTHER! I'm the one that gave birth to you and I'm the best person you could have in your life! Don't you want to feel like a princess? If you take me for granted then you're a horrible daughter. You're a pathological liar and a manipulator. Why would your friends want to be in a relationship with someone like you?" She shouted.
Her mother then stood up, walked up to Sasha, and raised her hand up. But luckily, Sasha didn't let that happen. She quickly slapped her mothers hand away and backed away from her.
"I am NOT that person anymore."
Sasha turned her head to see her father get up from the couch. Her eyes widened in fear at what was about to happen to her. She ran. She ran with all her might upstairs to her room and quickly locked the door on her parents before they could get to her. She then began grabbing her suitcases and night bags, she had prepared for this.Β
She was going to run away, It's not like she wasn't going to get kicked out in the first place. Sasha was about to climb out of her window withΒ all her things but her parents had already burst through the door. One thing about the Waybright parents, they were idiots, so they were easy to juke. Both of her parents lunged at her but SashaΒ quickly ran through them and ran through her bedroom door and downstairs. Once she got downstairs she ran out of the front door.
With Marcy.
Marcy heard Sasha's front door open which meant Sasha was back to tell her the news. But Marcy didn't see happy go lucky Sasha.
She saw a Sasha that had teary eyes and looked terrified with a bunch of bags in her hands.
Sasha quickly ran over to Marcy and jumped in her arms. She was crying, tears were coming out, but she put in her all to not start sobbing hysterically in front of Marcy. Plus, her face felt very hot, she was pretty sure she looked like a tomato in Marcy's view.Β
Marcy then gave into the embrace and held Sasha. Marcy began rubbing Sasha's hair to calm her down. "It's okay Sash, let it all out. If you don't let it all out now it'll just hurt more."
"I-I-I cant... I'm strength for gods sake, I have to be strong." Sasha said.
"Let it out Sash, you don't have to be strong anymore. You can go one day being vulnerable. I understand you Sasha, letting out emotions in front of someone is probably someones most vulnerable state for some people, but I'm not judging you." Marcy comforted.
Right there and then, was when Sasha finally broke.
Sasha began sobbing hysterically. She didn't care if Marcy saw, she was done being strong for everyone, she quit that job. "I-I'm sorry Marcy... I'm sorry you have to deal with something I caused. I'm sorry you have to deal with me crying over a small situation. I'm sorry if I look weak right now." She apologized.
"Shhh, it's okay Sasha no need to apologize. You weren't weak in there. You were terrified but you still stood your ground and left that hellhole. I'm so proud of you. You are worth more than they make you feel, I need you to understand that. I need you to be brave, do you think you can do that for me?" Marcy questioned.
Sasha removed her face from the crook of Marcy's neck and looked up at her. She then nodded as she swiped away tears from her eyes.
"Good, you're so brave Sasha, this is why so many people look up to you. You're such a good person. And you can cry in my arms whenever you'd like, I'll always be here to support you. You can come live with me, I'm pretty sure my mom won't mind. She likes you anyway so I don't see why she'd decline." Marcy said.
The both of them then walked down the block and headed to Marcy's house. Marcy had offered to carry some of her bags just to be a dear.
Sasha had every right to break like that, she's held in so many bottled up emotions for so long. It's hard to even be mad at her for that, Marcy's dealt with it herself.
So Marcy understood how she felt.
Ya'll I feel like this chapter was a bit too much.
For anyone that has a problem like this and is afraid to come out to their parents in person, i got some ideas for you. Maybe when you're far away from your parents, (vacation, school, any trip, ect,) You should message their phone so that you wont have to do it in person and see their reaction. If they don't support, then maybe act like nothing happened. That's just my suggestion and I wish yall luck.
Luv ya
I kinda got carried away lol.
What's that term again? I think it was overwritten. I think this chapter is overwritten.
And yes I took a four day break after that long ass last chapter.
What did yall think?
