I woke up and Klaus was still driving. The sun was shining and the clock on the car said 8:04 AM. We had been in the car for hours. I turned to Klaus who just had a complete look of determination on his face.

"Good morning love." He commented as I turned away from him and tried to go back to sleep. It was too early to deal with him. Any time would be too early. "Don't go back to sleep. We are almost there." He replied as I took a deep breath and turned in front of us to see a motel.

"Where the hell are we?" I asked looking at the place that was labeled with healthy living conditions, but clearly not. The walls were partially graffitied if not covered with gray from the dirt and dust. The sign flickered and the doors were all scratched up.

"Kentucky." He replied as I wiped my face. "There's nothing here that I know of but it's lunch time. Come on. I need you strong if you are going to help me." He instructed as he began getting out the car.

I followed out and looked around. I wasn't going to fight him with this. I was hungry so I decided to find someone and have some breakfast. I came across a girl running out of the motel as if she had just done something she regretted.

"What are you running from?" I asked popping in front of her, compelling her to answer me.

"A one night stand." She replied.

"Was it that bad?" I questioned confused.

"He's in a relationship." She replied. "I just saw the messages when I woke up. His girlfriend is worried. It's too messy for me." She explained as I nodded.

"Go on with your life. Forget that we talked. Just know that you are gonna find a man worthy of you one day." The woman nodded and got into her car, hustling away.

I went to the room where the man was. I barged in and he looked at me. "What the hell?" He asked as he stood there in a tshirt and underwear.

"Don't scream. Don't move. Don't speak." I instructed as I grabbed his wrist. I flashed my fangs and began drinking. I let go of his wrist and then went for his neck. I bent him down and attacked him until he was almost unconscious. I stopped and looked at him. "Forget everything that just happened except every time you cheat on someone, you see me with a bloody face attacking you and you'll remember the fear of not being able to do anything about it." I looked at him as he stayed still. "And the worst part is whenever you see these visions you won't be able to talk about them." I explained. "Now go." I instructed and he walked out. I followed a little after and saw Klaus. "Found us a free room." I told him as I held the keys in my hand.

He looked at me and vamped up. "We don't have time to stay. We need to go." He explained as I looked at him. I looked back at the keys and dropped them vamping back into the car. One day, one day I'd snap. I really hoped that I wouldn't be killed for it. It was inevitable for the way I was.

"I'm surprised, I thought you'd be more annoying. Not that I'm complaining." Klaus admitted getting into the car. I stayed quiet looking out the window. "Although I'm now convinced you are a lot more boring then I originally thought. I thought you were the fun sister but I guess you are both just bland." He turned the key and I bit my lip angrily. It was quiet for a moment. "No wonder Damon ended up falling for her too." He added as I looked at him. He wanted a reaction, that's why he kept saying things. I just wanted to crack his neck and send him into a never ending pit.

"I said I'd shut up. I'm keeping my word. I suggest you do the same." I replied through gritted teeth.

"Or what? You'll kill me?" He asked curiously.

"No I'll wait it out. Mikael will eventually right?" I asked in reply.

"Don't speak of him." He warned already angry.

"Then don't talk about Damon." I replied. He took a deep breath and we started driving. I had been sitting for at least 6 hours in this car doing nothing. I was bored out of my mind. Every time I tried to think it always ended at a place where I was upset and wanted to cry about my family.

I reached for the radio and turned it on. It was thankfully a pop station. Titanium by David Guetta played and the irony was unbelievable. I tapped my leg with the beat.

"What is this?" Klaus asked looking at it as he turned it off. I wondered if he felt threatened by the song.

"It's called music." I replied reaching for the radio again. I pressed the button and looked out the window.

"That isn't music." He replied as he started changing the channels. He got to a station that played jazz. "This is music." He replied as I looked at him with a confused and partially disgusted look.

"You really are old." Was all I could manage to say and the strangest thing happened. Klaus let out a soft chuckle. I looked at him and tilted my head. There wasn't even a difference between his sadistic fake smile and his happy smile. That either meant he was faking or he really was just an evil piece of shit. I agreed with the latter.

"We'll be stopping in Kansas first. There apparently is a lot of wolves there." He explained as I looked down. It was starting. I knew I'd regret everything I was about to do. "You'll have to help me round them up which definitely will take some convincing." He smiled sadistically. "Are you up for it?" He questioned.

"Do I have a choice?" I asked in response as I crossed my arms.

"Still as sassy as ever." Klaus replied as he stopped the car. "I hope that sass equals in your strength."

"They won't be stronger than me." I replied surely. Tyler was big and buff and he couldn't beat me.

"Maybe not to begin with but eventually they will gain on you. Wolves are nasty creatures." He replied as he smirked at me as if he was bragging about forcing me to do this. What a little shit.

I got out of the car and listened around. "I don't hear anyone." I spoke looking at him.

"Because you aren't listening hard enough." He replied coming over to me. He grabbed my shoulders and faced me towards the left. I shook him off and he thankfully let go. "Listen now." He replied as I sighed lightly.

I listened and heard people talking. I heard walking and crunching of leaves and grass and I tilted my head slightly. These people didn't even know what was coming for them.

"It's all about angles love." He said as he grabbed a case out of the car and started walking. I followed behind him feeling disgusting. Not just because of what I was doing but because I hadn't changed clothes in the full day I had been this way. Today was supposed to be the start of my senior year of high school. I wasn't even going to graduate now because of him. We got closer when Klaus stopped and I did too.

"I do the talking, you do the enforcing. Got it?" He asked as I nodded. The closer we got the more worried I became. All the sudden we were standing in front of camp. There was about eight. They all looked to us and I could tell they could smell the vampire in us. I could definitely smell the wolf in them.

"Vampires aren't welcome here." A man said stepping forward looking at Klaus. I was no werewolf expert but I'm pretty sure that meant he was the alpha.

"You seem to be confused here. I'm not just a vampire. I'm also a werewolf. Just like you." Klaus smiled looking at the man.

"You're the original. You're Klaus." The man said.

"Great you've heard of me. That must mean you know why I'm here." He smiled looking at him putting the case down and looking at them. "Emma could you please go grab one of our new friends?" He asked looking at me as I turned to the wolves.

I wanted to grab someone who'd be easy to convince the others. I saw a girl who seemed to be a bit older than me. I went after her and vamped her back over to Klaus. "Don't move." I compelled her as I held my arm around her neck and flashed my fangs.

"Now, we can either do this the easy way or the hard way." Klaus said as I breathed ready to attack this girl. The worst part was that the morality of it was fading. I was hungry. I didn't care that this was a person and I wanted to just tear at her right now. I put my fangs away and waited.

"What do you want from us?" The man asked once more, worried for the girl.

"How about I show you." Klaus said as he bit his wrist. "Drink up love." He said as he put his wrist in the girls mouth. She didn't fight it because she was compelled but she wanted to. Her heart was racing quickly. I heard her swallow and Klaus looked to the werewolves. "Now for part 2." He said as he turned back to them.

"No!" The alpha man yelled as he ran over. Klaus looked at him and cracked his neck.

"Looks like you have a new Alpha." Klaus smirked as he looked at them. "Now as I was saying." He started as the others looked around unsure. I looked at the man dead on the ground. He kept speaking but all I could see was how scared they were.

"Emma could you please go find us a human while I take care of our new friends?" Klaus asked as I let go of the girl and nodded.

I ran away and found myself at a bar. I walked in and went to a man who was sitting by himself. I sat in front of him and he looked up to me.

"Can I help you?" The man asked as he pushed up his glasses.

"Are you here with anyone?" I asked curiously.

"No, just me. Why?" He asked.

"Follow me." I compelled as he got up and followed. I grabbed his arm and we were back at the camp after a little bit of me running.

"How did we-" he started.

"Don't speak." I compelled him. "Just do as I say." I grabbed onto his arm and walked over to Klaus. I wasn't sure what he did because all of them were dead with blood running or the corners of their mouth.

"Just in time. Thank you for your cooperation." He said as he pulled at the guy and he forcibly went with him.

The first girl, the one I had grabbed was waking up. She breathed and looked around scared. "Hey hey it's okay." Klaus said as he opened the case. He opened it to reveal a blood bag. He opened it and gave it to her. "Drink this and the pain will go away." He explained as I realized whose blood it was.

She looked at him shaking slightly like a scared chihuahua. She grabbed the guys arm and she put it on her mouth. She drunk it her face going from disgust to euphoria in seconds. She kept going but she grunted. Klaus took the bag away and watched. He already knew what would happen, I could tell. She began to crunch and crack and I could almost feel the pain. I looked to her worried, but after it was over she took deep breaths and smiled. The pain was over.

"Thanks." Was all she managed to say.

"How did you know she would start turning after?" I questioned curiously.

"You don't think she's the first do you?" He asked before chuckling lightly. "No Tyler Lockwood holds that spot."

"You turned Tyler." I questioned sadly. "Is he okay."

"Thriving. I changed his life for the better." He replied. "He was your best friend wasn't he?" He questioned trying to clarify. I nodded as the others began to wake up. Soon he started turning all the others. We went to more states, found more packs, and made more hybrids. These people seemed extremely grateful. I kind of forced myself to think this was for the better. Anything to get me through what was going on. I just wished I didn't have to do this for the rest of my life.
