Emmaline Flemming had an ordinary life. Well she thought it was ordinary, at least. Her mother died when she was fifteen and she was raised by her step father. One day he decided they should move to a small neighboring town called Mystic Falls. Soon after, Emmaline quickly learns the truth about everything she didn't even know was possible. Vampires were real, she was a twin to a girl named Elena, and if that wasn't enough, they were freaks of nature. Will she be able to deal with a whole new world she never knew existed or will she lose it and crack under the pressure? Book 1 of 3 (Starts slow but it builds up after the first two chapters)
