Assembly the next morning was a rather peculiar event. Students at SSH rarely went into the large auditorium. It was mainly used for graduation ceremonies or other minor events that many students found irrelevant and boring.

However, there was a buzz in the air as students filed into the large room with portable chairs to seat nearly 400 people. Principal Kang was welcomed on stage by a rather enthusiastic applause at 8:30 and introduced herself yet again. The assembly was held mainly to speak about all the new additions that were going to be made.

Compulsory study hours would be halved (though if a student wanted to, they could stay on and continue their studying) to make way for after school clubs and other activities and they would be let out early—at 4:00 PM—on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. New clubs, longer, more interesting trips, same quality of food for everyone (Finally, Sana thought) counselling, work experience and study groups.

Then she asked if anyone had any questions. There was a ripple of subtle shock. Students were hardly ever allowed to ask questions, back when Principal Lee had been around. They were supposed to sit down, be quiet, and listen.

Sana's hand was the first in the air. "Yes?" Principal Kang said, noticing her hand. A microphone was handed to Sana.

"I just wanted to know where the sponsoring for all these activities is coming from." Sana began. "Are the students going to have to pay for everything, like back then?"

The new Principal seemed to scrutinize Sana for a moment. "Well, no...you students won't need to pay for any of the new additions except for trips. But that's quite a good question." She paused for a moment.

Sana stared her down for an answer.

"Well...I originally wasn't going to—well I wasn't supposed to—tell you this but," the woman said. "Your former Principal had been embezzling quite an amount from donations, money from fundraisers and of course money from students..."

The hall erupted with noise. Ms. Kang held up a hand to silence them. "But! But, thankfully," she stressed the last word, "thankfully it was confiscated by the Board of Private School Education and I do have some power over what it can be used for. It is not at my free will as to how I can use it, but once my proposal for a new addition is approved, then the school is given the budget needed to push through with the activity." She smiled. "Thank you for that question."

Sana sat back down. She couldn't believe that stupid old man had had the audacity to steal from the students. She sighed and zoned out, not hearing the loud mumbles surrounding her.

Chungha rolled her eyes in her seat at the back of the auditorium. She was glad that her transfer had been timed properly. She'd stopped listening after Principal had spoke about the new dance club that would start next week with a "surprise trainer". She checked her watch regularly then left for the bathroom, stopping by her new homeroom to pick up her pouch.

Chungha had type 1 diabetes. She never wanted anyone in this new school to find out before she would get slandered and gossiped about like in her last five schools. She was headed to the bathroom to take her first of three daily insulin shots.

For her, it wasn't incredibly hard to live with diabetes, but it still was a struggle. The annoying kids at school had made it worse too. The only thing that had kept her from intentionally lowering her blood sugar levels to fall into a diabetic coma, was dance.

Thoughts of the new dance club filled her head as she made her way down the hall.

A week later and she found herself pushing open the half-glass door of the new dance club practice room. She was the first person in...or so it seemed. Someone had left music on, playing from their phone. It was one of her favourite songs as well – <Do You?> by TroyBoi.

Her body responded on instinct. There was never a song she wouldn't dance to.

Hoshi trotted down the corridor, carefully putting his dance club form in his bag as he neared the practice room. He could already hear faint music as he approached.

He was in a good mood as ever; dancing was his favourite hobby, and even though he couldn't afford the dream dance academy he wanted to go to, he'd joined a smaller one. Adding the school's dance club would just raise his standard of dance, and he'd never put down an opportunity like that.

His hand was on the doorknob when movement from inside the room caught his eye through the clear shatterproof glass.

The girl had her back to him, but he saw her reflection in the mirror; it was Chungha. And she was freestyling awesomely to the song he'd heard on his way.

Strong, popping movements followed by slow, subtle ones; fast complicated leg work, then calm, slow and sexy body waves. Chungha danced with every part of her body. Even her facial expressions matched her movements—including the gleam in her eye—and her hair swung in just the right directions.

She didn't even notice Hoshi enter the practice room. He watched her for another few seconds before the song ended, and she looked up, panting into the mirror and spotted him. Chungha jumped, clearly startled at his sudden appearance. Her face and neck flushed pink and she blinked quickly, dropping her gaze and running her fingers through her loose hair.

Hoshi applauded her enthusiastically. "That was...woah...that was really awesome," he said sincerely, a smile adorning his hamster like face. Chungha smiled, embarrassed, then thanked him quietly, thankful that the next song had begun to play so there wouldn't be an awkward silence.

"Who do you think our surprise instructor will be?" Hoshi asked her as she gulped down water. Chungha shrugged.

"I'm just gonna wait and see," she answered him. "No point in getting my hopes up, is there?"

Hoshi was secretly pleased that Chungha had joined dance because now she'd be seeing him even more and he hoped it would get them closer. She had opened up a little more on her second day, but she was still quite silent and introverted most of the times.

Then the practice door opened and someone walked in.

YAYYYY🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 450 reads!!!!!

Thank you all for reading and enjoying and voting on my fanfiction!!!

I promise to make better chapters with juicier content!

(Cringe warning)

But honestly, this is my first ever story to gets such recognition and support so thank you, seriously, thank you a lot.

I know that out of all the twiceteen ships, Sajun is not very popular, but I just kinda like their vibe, so I tried out this fanfiction with them as main characters...thank you all for enjoying it!!

(End of cringe)

And how do y'all feel about Hoshi x Chungha? In twiceteen, Hoshi is originally shipped with Momo, but imma exclude her for "personal reasons" 😉😉😂

Actually they fit each other really well; they're both dancers; both '96 liners; and I love them both so much! Please comment any other kpop ships u wanna see and I'll do my best to add them in! Thank you again!
