Oscar's POV

"Wait hold the fuck up, homie." Javier says as he leans against the car. "Elena is back and has a kid?"

"And it's yours?" Omar says which I glare at him.

"Of course she's mine pendejo. Who else would be the dad?" I ask throw my cigarette.

He shrugs.

"When did she came back?" Sad Eyes asks.

"Yesterday." I shake my head.

"Damn."

"Did you know about this?" I glare at Sad Eyes.

I knew him and Elena were close friends, so maybe he knew something.

"Nah holmes" he says. "I swear I didn't know shit, she blocked me off everything.

"Yeah same here." I say.

Javier's phone rings. He answers and walks away.

"What are you going to do?" Omar asks.

"I don't know, I fucking walked away when I saw the little girl. I heard Elena calling after me but I didn't even turn around." I say.

Javier comes back and chugs his beer.

"I gotta go, my ruca wants to go to her parent's house for dinner." He says.

"Aight fool." I say as Javier walks out the gate.

"I gotta go too, Dalia wants me to take her to my mom's tonight." Omar chugs his beer and waves bye at Sad eyes and me.

We sit there in silent until we see both of em leave.

"So," Tito (Sad Eyes) says. "The baby, how did she look?"

"Beautiful." I smile. "She has the most chubby cheeks, she's just beautiful, mano. Just like her mom."

Tito smiles.

"You still love her, hu?" He asks.

"Nah." I say.

"You still love her, menso." He laughs.

"Man, even if I did, I wouldn't want anything to do with her." I say.

"And why not?"

"Cause, how can you be with someone who kept your kid a secret from you?" I ask. "I missed out almost a year of my daughter's life because of that bitch!"

"Hey, don't disrespect Lena like that." He says. "I know she left you man but she maybe has a good reason on why she did it. Why don't you talk to her tomorrow? Go out to eat with her and talk shit through man."

"I don't know, ese." I say as I sit back on the chair.

"That little girl needs a father in her life." He says as he walks closer to me.

"You And I both know what it's like to not have a father in our life." He says.
