"Bitch he's coming over tonight?!" Jenny asks as I sit down with my plate of enchiladas.

"Yes, I couldn't tell him about Mia." I say as I look at her sleeping in her playpen.

"So you're gonna show him Mia?" Karina asks confused

"I wasn't planning on it this soon but I have to now." I shrug.

"He better not do shit." Dalia says.

"Who's gonna do shit?" My dad asks as he walks in the kitchen.

"No one papi, your enchiladas are on the counter by the way." I say laughing.

"Hey girls, how have you guys been?" My dad asks as he sits down next to me.

"We been good Mr Rodriguez, just here now catching up with this young lady." Jenny eyes me.

Dalia and Karina has gone to sleep in the guest room and Jenny had gone to sleep in my room. I stayed in the living room with Mia. She had woken up so we just been watching tv. It was already 12:07AM and I rolled my eyes. He wasn't going to come by. He didn't really give a shit on why I had left anymore. I stood up ready to go to my room and put Mia to sleep when I heard a knock on the door.

My heart started beating like crazy. I quickly put Mia down on her Playpen and went to open the door. Oscar stood there smoking a cigarette.

"Sup." He says.

"Hi, um before you come in." I start to say and he throws his cigarette to the ground. "I want you to know that I didn't want to leave but I had to for our safety."

"Our?" He asked confused. "Elena, we were perfectly fine. I was out of trouble when we were together."

"Not me and you Oscar." I shake my head. I move to the side and let him come in.

He walks in eyeing me. His eyes then goes to the little girl babbling away in her playpen.

"Who's this?" He asks pointing at her.

"Mia, our daughter."
