Chapter 19

"Are you sure she's alive?" I heard a familiar voice said.

"Of course she is, stupid!"

"Hm, doesn't seem like it."

I groaned and pulled my blanket over me. I then started feeling someone poking my body. I stuck my arm out to swat it away and groaned.

"Okay Ari, time to wake up." The voice said again.

"No."

"Okay, you asked for it."

There was then silence.

This got me to wonder, what did i ask for?

My warm blanket was suddenly pulled away from me, leaving me shivering in the cold.

"Hey!" I yelled.

I opened my eyes and squinted at the sudden light. It took me a while to adjust to the light and I took in my surroundings. Same old bedroom, except with Evan and Ellie beside my bed.

In Ellie's hands were my blanket.

"Give that back to me." I snatched it back and covered my legs with it. Ah, we are once again reunited.

"What do you two want?" I asked.

"It's 10.30 am," replied Evan, "time for you to wake up."

I sighed and got out of my bed and headed to wash up. I then walked down the stairs, greeted 'good morning's by Avril and Chad.

I poured out my beloved Cheerios into a bowl and asked,

"So, what do you guys want to do today?"

I looked at Avril expectantly, waiting for an answer.

"I'm pretty tired after yesterday... How about we just stay in the house and play board games?"

I looked around, seeing if there were any objections but everyone nodded in agreement.

I clapped my hands together and announced, "Okay then! Board games it is!"

I put my bowl in the sink and when to the cupboard where the boards games were kept. I carried out all the board games we have and placed them on the table.

Avril asked, "So, which do you want to play first?"

Ellie suggested Twister and we got to it. Evan volunteered to be the "spinner".

This should be fun.

It's been half an hour since we started playing.

I was exhausted and wanted to get out of this uncomfortable position, I mean, my face is facing directly Ellie's butt!

"Chad's turn..." Evan announced as he spun the board. "Left hand, yellow."

We all sniggered at Chad as we watched him twist his body into an awful position.

And his arm wobbled...

Oh no.

"Ahhh!" Chad exclaimed as he fell down flat. While doing that, she knocked into Avril and dragging her down too.

"No!" She screamed.

Thump.

She fell onto Chad. We all laughed while trying to stay in our positions.

Avril was grinning as she leaned in towards Chad. Her eyes dropped to his lips and she smiled wider.

Not again!

As they proceeded to have a full on make our session, the three of us were shouting so many things that they obviously did not care about.

"Ew!"

"Get a room!"

Finally, they pulled away and laughed at us, getting up.

As I watched them sit down on the sofa, I felt so lucky. I got to meet my idol, Avril Ramona Lavigne. I got to hang out with her, go to concerts. I watched Chad and Avril's love bloom, as well as Ellie's and Evan's. It's incredible what one lucky thing has changed my life. Now I'm having the time of my life with people I love.

I am a Little Black Star.

I love Avril Lavigne.
