~Chapter Six~

The next day you hanged out with Cole at the monastery. Everyone knew that you two were now officially a couple. As you and Cole cuddled on the couch, sometimes the ninja would stop by and tease you two. When they all stopped and left you two alone you and Cole heard the doorbell ring and someone going to open it up.

"COLE! GUESS WHO CAME BY TO VISIT!" You heard a voice. Cole sighed and and facepalmed. "Who's was that?!" You asked him sitting up. "If you run now maybe you won't have to meet my dad..." "YOUR DAD IS HERE! WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME I WANNA MEET HIM!! WHERE IS HE?!" You said in excitement.

Just then a man with black hair like Cole's, using a cane and wore a brown suit with a red bow tie, walked inside the living room. "Heeeyyy dad." Cole said as he went to hug Cole. "Haha son! So glad to see you! I thought I should make a stop by and check on how you're doing!" He says.

"I'm doing fine, you know...Ninja stuff." You give a bright smile to Cole's dad and shake his hand. "So glad to finally meet you Mr. Buckets! I'm Chloe! Cole's girlfriend." You introduce and Mr. Buckets smiles widely at you. "Son! Why didn't you tell me you had a girlfriend! Haha so glad to meet you Chloe!"

"Well I was going to tell you, but I just asked her out yesterday!" "The sooner the better son! The sooner the better!" "Cole's told me that you tried enrolling him to Marty Oppenheimer? I go to that school!" "That's wonderful! What classes are you taking there?" "Jazz, ballet, salsa, hip hop, and I even do some color guard!" "Cole! You my son have found the perfect girl! She could teach you a thing or two!" You chuckle and put your arm around Cole. "Yes, yes I could." You say with a wink.

Cole rolls his eyes and gives a small smile. "So, uh dad why'd you stop by?" Cole asks. "Am I not allowed to visit my son every now and then?!" "C'mon dad! You always stop by with some news or update! What's it today?" "Okay fine you got me! Guess what! The Royal Blacksmiths and I are going on tour!!" Cole's eyes popped out in surprise.

"TOUR?!" "I knew you'd be excited! And don't worry son! You have an exclusive V.I.P. Pass to watch us live!" "Dad, TOUR?!" "Son, we all knew this day was coming! I know this is a lot for you to take in but these bones still got it!" Mr. Buckets explained

Cole sighed, "Well, if you really wanna do it." "That's my son!" Mr. Buckets says with a smile. "Wait hold up! The Royal Blacksmiths?!" You asked. "You've never heard of us?!" He asks. "Not to many people have..." Cole mutters under his breath. "What was that son?"

"I uh I said, Wow! Chloe! You don't know my dad's group?! Y-you should seriously hear them sing!" Cole says then nervously laughs. You chuckle, "Sure! I'd love to hear you guys sing! So, did you bring a CD or a sample??" "Why do that when we can sing right now! The boys are in the van outside. I did mention quick visit after all! Follow me!" He says and you and Cole follow him outside the monastery.

The rest of the group gets out of the van as soon as you all approach it. "Chloe! Meet Jimmy, Hector, and Hiro!" Mr. Buckets introduces. "Helloooo." "Helloooo." "Helloooo!" They all sing in chorus. "How bout it boys! A quick sample before we go!" "A one and a two and a three!" Jimmy starts.

"Who's gonna save Ninjago's Hide!!! Who's gonna make her dad swell with pride!!" They sing in harmony. When they finished you smiled widely and clap. "Looks like I'll be seeing you guys on tour!" You say with a wink. "Glad to hear that Chloe! It was great meeting you by the way and we have to go Good bye! And Bye son! Keep up the Ninja business!" He says as he gets in the van with the others.

"Bye dad! Love you!" Cole says and you smile and wave to them. They look out the window and wave back before driving away. "Finally! He's gone." Cole says as he starts going back inside the monastery. You follow him, "Your dad is WAY better then my dad. You should be proud." You tell him. "I am proud, it's just...you know how dads are sometimes." You think about it for a minute before agreeing. "Point taken. But he's still cool!" Cole chuckled and closed the door behind him.

"Ya know, you didn't tell me you were in all those classes!" Cole says as he walks to the kitchen. You chuckled and sat on one of the stools in the kitchen. "Yeah, my parents made me do all of them. Dance I can, dance I do not like." You tell him as you watch him open the fridge. "Well, what do you like to do?" Cole asks. You think for a minute, "Well, I like to draw, I love horses! On weekends I ride my horse that I have. Obviously I love food I mean I cook every now and then but I'm not even sure if I would consider that a real hobby."

"Woah woah wait! You ride horses!?" "Yeah! There's this park in Ninjago where you can ride horses." "That sounds pretty cool!" "Yeah! It is! Hey uh how bout I teach ya how to ride one this weekend." "Yeah sure! I'd love to." You smiled and pushed a strand of your hair out of your face. Days passed and it was the weekend.

You told Cole where to meet you and you were on your way. You got in your car and drove to HoofTrail park. When you got there you went to the stables and found Cole by your horse. You smiled and pecked him on the lips. "You made it!" You said. And Cole smiled, "Course I did! So what's this big guy's name?" He said as he petted the horses snout.

The horse snorted and you caressed it's hair. "Correction, it's girl, second, her name is Heather." You said. "Well sorry I can't tell horse genders! So where's my horse?" He says. You put a saddle on Heather before closing her door. You bring Cole to the stall next door to heather's. "This is your horse. I figured since your the black ninja, you get a black and grey horse. Anyways her name is London!" You say as you pet her snout.

"Number one, my favorite color is orange. Two, she's beautiful!" Cole says as she pets her. You fold your arms and clear your throat. Cole chuckles, "Well I meant your more beautiful then the horse! Ya know what the horse is really ugly I don't even know where beautiful even came from."

You chuckle and elbow Cole in the stomach. You helped Cole put the saddle and haulter on London before putting a haulter on your own horse. You put your riding helmet on then check on Cole. You try to stifle your laugh as you watch Cole struggle getting on his horse. "Need help there?" You ask him. "No thank you I can handle myself." He says as he finally gets on his horse.

"You know what you're missing?" You ask him. "No, what?" You throw him a riding helmet. "And why do I have to wear this?!" "Safety obviously! And it's the rules around here." You tell him. Cole sighs and puts on the helmet. "Fine. And besides its not the first time I've worn a ridiculous hat." You put your hand on your hip then pointed at the helmet on your head.

"I uh mean I looks great on you sweetheart!" He says with nervous laughter. You roll your eyes then blush. "I'll help you walk London out of here." You tell him as you tug a little on London's lead rope making her walk out of her stall. "Woah! This is awesome!" Cole says with a wide smile. "It's only the beginning!" London stops in front of Heather's stall and you get on her. You ride Heather out of her stall and in front of London. "Just follow me. It's just like flying your dragon really. Tug on the reins to stop the horse and yank it to make the horse go!" You tell Cole.

"Hey yeah! Your right! I should know this stuff." He says as he follows you out of he stables. "So, apparently since you know how to ride, do you want to just walk or race?" You ask him. "Race!" You smirk. "Try to keep up rookie!" You say as you make Heather go fast. "Hey!" Cole says and catches up. You two race your horses through the racing path. You were surprised when Cole started going ahead of you.

You both were almost at the end and the winner was...Cole. He cheered and your mouth just popped open in shock. "Ha! Beat that Chloe! Who's the rookie now?!" He says and you just roll your eyes. "I believe the winner deserves a kiss now?" Cole says as he puckers his lips. You turn Heather around. "Kiss my butt!" You say then ride back to the stables. "Hey! Wait up!" Cole says.

You two arrived at the stables and put the two horses back in their stalls. You take heather's gear off then feed her. "I never got my kiss!" Cole says behind you and you chuckle. "Cole I kiss you like all the time now." "I know but this kiss is different!" "Every kiss is different!" You chuckle. "Cmon! Please!" He says with a pout. You take your riding helmet off and shake your hair a little bit. "Fine." You say then connect your lips with Cole. You both smile in the kiss before letting go. "Better?" You ask him and Cole nods yes with a smile then goes back to London's stall.

You roll your eyes, "Boyfriends." You say to Heather. Heather neighs and you chuckle. When you both were done in the stable, you two left and sat under a tree for some shade. You lay on Cole's legs and smile. Cole smiles back and caresses your hair. "Hey, I had fun today so I outta thank you for that." He says. "No problem! I figured you'd wanna try something new." You said.

Cole smiles and twirls your maroon streak around his finger. "So, why'd ya put reddish brown in your hair?" "For starters the color is maroon, and I don't know I thought It'd look pretty cool." You admit. "It is cool! Ya know it reminds me of one of my friends. Although her hair was dark pink and she had a blue streak. But yours is pretty natural."

"Who's this 'Friend' of yours?" You ask Cole using your finger to quote friend. Cole gasps, "Is my girlfriend getting over protective?" You smirk," I just wanna make sure that's all." "Relax. She's on the other side of Ninjago, and we're just friends. And as you know, if there's any girl I'd like it's you." He says with a reassuring smile.

"Alright, if you say so. But if she comes back and puts her hands on you I swear I'll turn into a raptor and scratch her face off!" You threaten and Cole chuckles, "Like that's ever gonna happen." Cole then gives you a soft kiss and let's go. "I love you, okay. You and only you." You smile and put your hand on his cheek. "I love you too." You then sit up and give Cole another kiss.
