Chapter 68: Karaoke night

The amount of comments and votes have been crazy recently it's amazing to see and thanks so much for that. The same with all the reads too each chapter is getting like 100 reads within 24-48 hours which is insane and recently the story hit 15k so thanks for that we only just hit 10k a short while ago so that's just unbelievable you guys are amazing.

I'll do my best to keep writing enjoyable chapters for you guys. Keep leaving your comments they're great to see I love taking time to go through and read them. I'm gonna try and do my best to reply to some of them as well from now on.

"I'm so excited! We haven't done karaoke since...well since the first time we kissed" Uraraka said looking forward to the afternoon ahead of them.

"I know. Crazy to think that was...what 6 months ago?" Deku asked unsure how long it had been.

"I'm not sure you might be right with 6 months. It's been a blur so much has happened in that time" Uraraka said thinking back to everything that had happened. When she saw him stood topless in his room, falling asleep on the sofa cuddled up to him, being carried up to her room and him leaving a note, almost kissing him in the common area the following day when he was soaking wet from the rain after his run, being set up by Ashido on their first date to the pool, pushing him in the pool, Deku pulling her down with him after she did, getting food afterwards, forgetting her money and Deku buying her food for her, holding his hand for the first time and feeling her cheeks burn bright red, the warmth of his hand, when he'd had the idea to put their food in their bags so they could carry on holding hands because he'd noticed how down she was about not being able to, kissing his cheek at the end of their date, when he asked her to go to the party with him, singing her heart out to Deku which led to him doing the same, officially becoming a couple, singing a duet together before having their first kiss in front of their classmates. The list goes on and on and on but all of it flashed through her mind in just a few brief moments. Some of it good and some of it bad but she didn't care. She was with Deku. They were both still here. Healthy and happy together.

"Yeah a lot has happened. I never thought I'd be UA's number 1 student 6 months ago. At least the fame seems to be dying down I haven't been cornered by paparazzi in a while" Deku said.

"Yeah well that's probably because last time they did you threatened them" Uraraka teased.

"I did not!" he protested.

"Yes you did" she insisted.

"In what way did I threaten them?" he questioned.

"Deku you activated your quirk and told them to and I quote 'leave me and my girlfriend alone. Stop asking her all these questions about me when she's her own person. Ask her about her own school life and her dreams she isn't dependant on me. So just back off and leave us alone' which was sweet and all but you still threatened them" she explained. It was true at the time she'd greatly appreciated that Deku had stood up for her but he was still threatening them.

"I did say that didn't I" Deku said remembering the incident.

"Yep. Oh cheer up you defended your woman's honour. Which by the way was great to see you be such a feminist" she said teasing him slightly.

"Yeah well they were being really disrespectful. All they asked you about was me and what it's like to date me which was completely unfair. I still can't believe I threatened them. And I activated my quirk? I could've lost my provisional license if I'd attacked them and I definitely would have been kicked out from UA-" he began to ramble but Uraraka cut him off.

"Hey. You stood up for what you believed in and for me. Nothing else matters. Besides I know you you would never hurt innocent people" she said smiling at him.

"Thanks" he said returning her smile.

"Honestly you worry far too much. Loosen up a little we've got karaoke to do. Speaking of which where is everybody they should be here by now" Uraraka said looking around.

"There they are" Deku said pointing towards them. They hadn't seen them yet and Uraraka still couldn't see through the crowd.

"Where? Ugh I hate being so short" she pouted crossing her arms. Deku looked down at her seeing the frown on her face. He'd forgotten he'd grown a little taller again. He wasn't far off Todoroki and Iida now. Uraraka had grown too but she was still fairly short compared to him. She looked up at him noticing the grin on his face.

"What?" she asked. Deku didn't say anything he simply knelt down.

"What are you doing?" she asked looking at Deku now knelt down on the floor.

"Do you trust me?" he asked.

"Depends what you're going to do" she said getting a little nervous about what he might have planned.

"Don't worry it'll be fine I'm going to help you see. Now if you trust me turn around" Deku said. She looked down at him seeing the innocent smile on his face.

That smile is far from innocent he's up to something. Whatever let's just see what he does.

She turned around so her back was to Deku.

"Now what?" she asked. Deku chuckled a little.

"Brace yourself" he warned.

"Wha-AHHH!" she screamed as Deku suddenly stood up taking Uraraka up with him so that she was sat on his shoulders.

"You dummy you could've warned me!" she exclaimed slamming her fist down on the top of his head.

"Ow! I did warn you!" he protested looking up at her. He was tightly holding onto her legs to make sure she didn't fall backwards. They began to squabble.

"Hey look there they are!" Kirishima exclaimed hearing his two friends before he saw them squabbling in the distance.

"Good spot Kirishima" Ashido said.

"Thanks but it's impossible to miss those two sometimes" Kirishima said appreciating the compliment but they were kind of impossible to miss.

"Yeah especially when they're arguing like a married couple" Kaminari joked.

"DEKU'S MARRIED BEFORE ME!?" Bakugo screamed having not really listened to the conversation. He just heard "married" and "Deku" in the same sentence and made his own conclusion.

"No Bakugo Midoriya isn't married or engaged for that matter. He's probably not even considering it at this point" Kirishima explained.

"Why is it that when it comes to Midoriya everything is a competition to you?" Jiro asked almost immediately regretting it.

"It's not! I'm better than him there is no competition!" Bakugo screeched.

"His competitive side has gotten worse since Midoriya became the top student. And since Midoriya has been beating everybody he comes up against during training too. Bakugo's lost to him like 6 times now" Kirishima explained.

"KIRISHIMA SHUT THE HELL UP!" Bakugo yelled furious with him.

"Relax it's cool nobody's judging you" Kirishima said.

"I am" Todoroki admitted.

"YOU WANNA GO HALF 'N' HALF!? YOU AND ME RIGHT NOW! I'LL KICK YOUR ASS!" Bakugo continued to shout his temper reaching boiling point.

"That's funny I could've sworn you said the same thing to Midoriya the last 6 times you've fought him in training" Kaminari teased.

"DIE DUNCE FACE!" Bakugo screamed launching an explosion at him but Kirishima stepped in the way hardening his body to negate the attack.

"Thanks for the save" Kaminari said giving his friend a thumbs up.

"Dude seriously you've gotta learn when you're pushing him too far. One day you're going to say something when I'm not there and he actually will kill you" Kirishima warned.

"You not with Bakugo? Whatever you guys are never not together" Kaminari said causing Kirishima to chuckle a little.

"True" he admitted.

"Are you quite finished Bakugo?" Iida asked.

"Whatever" the blonde said sitting down on a nearby bench.

"Now where are Midoriya and Uraraka?" Iida asked.

"Still bickering over there" Todoroki said pointing at the couple who were still arguing with each other.

"Ow! Did you just pull my hair?" Deku asked.

"Yes I did" Uraraka said crossing her arms and refusing to look down at him.

"You're being so childish I was just lifting you onto my shoulders so you could see everyone" Deku explained.

"Oh. That's why you did it?" she asked.

"Yes. What did you think I was doing?" he asked.

"I thought it was some sort of prank to scare me or something" she admitted a little embarrassed at how wrong she'd been.

"I'm going to pretend you didn't say that" Deku said dismissing how low she thought of him.

"I'm sorry. You just took me by surprise and my mind just rushed to conclusions. Thank you" she said hunching down to kiss the top of his head making him blush and instantly forget his frustration with her.

"It's ok I should've told you. I was trying to scare you a little if I'm being honest" he admitted.

"So I was right. Anyway it doesn't matter now I'm up here so...giddy up" she said now excited at the idea of Deku being her personal chariot.

"Yes ma'am" he said beginning to walk towards their classmates. Everybody was there already they were just waiting for them. They were waving at them.

"Hey guys!" Uraraka called waving at them from atop Deku's shoulders. Deku would've waved back but he was busy holding Uraraka's legs so she didn't fall.

"Hey you two" Yaoyorozu said as they joined the group.

"Are you two quite done bickering like a married couple?" Iida asked.

"W-what? Bickering?" Uraraka questioned a little offended.

Married!? I'm marrying her yet! Oh wait he said "like a married couple"...phew. I thought I was gonna have to dig myself out of a hole there for a second.

"Yes we all saw you arguing. In fact that's how Kirishima spotted you" Iida explained.

"Yeah it wasn't hard you kind of stood out especially with Uraraka sat on your shoulders" Kirishima said.

"Oh. How embarrassing" Uraraka said beginning to blush.

"How come Midoriya gets to have his head between Uraraka's thighs?" Mineta asked. Everybody froze and slowly turned to look at him all with a disgusted look on their faces.

"Dude. Get a grip" Kirishima mumbled to himself.

"I'll deal with this little creep" Yaoyorozu said rolling up her sleeves.

"No no it's ok Yaoyorozu. We'll handle this. Ochako?" Deku said holding a hand up to her to help her down.

"Gladly" she said taking his hand as he helped her down. The two of them walked side by side to Mineta who was now sweating and extremely nervous.

"G-guys we don't have to do this" Mineta pleaded.

"Yes we do Mineta because you can't seem to learn to stop being such a creep. So we're going to have to do this" Uraraka said glaring at the tiny teenager.

"You wanna know why I can have my head between her thighs right? Well number 1 I'm her boyfriend" Deku said.

"Number 2 he isn't a sick perv" Uraraka said.

"Number 3 I don't treat her like a piece of meat" Deku said grabbing him by the shirt and picking him up off the floor.

"Number 4 it wasn't even sexual I was sat on his shoulders and even if it was in a sexual way...he's better at that stuff than you'll ever be" Uraraka said.

"Would you like to do the honours?" Deku asked.

"My pleasure" she said making him float although he didn't go anywhere yet because Deku was still holding him by the shirt.

"W-what are you going to do?" Mineta asked scared for his life. Deku and Uraraka looked at each other before grinning and nodding before looking back to Mineta.

"Nothing to bad but uh...have a nice flight" Uraraka said.

"What do you mean have a nice-AHHHHHHHH!" Mineta screamed as Deku spun around on the spot before throwing him straight up into the air.

"Release" Uraraka said while making her usual hand gesture.

"That's him dealt with" Deku said wiping his hands.

"Yeah but I had to touch the little creep" Uraraka said.

"Um...is he going to be ok?" Kaminari asked as they couldn't see him anymore Deku had thrown him that high although having no effects of gravity on his body helped.

"He'll be fine. Besides who cares?" Uraraka asked.

"Exactly" the rest of the girls said in unison.

"Our teachers? The police? You could lose your license" Kaminari reminded them.

"Oh relax we're not using our quirks to harm him or anything. Just a little intimidation tactic. Hopefully he should've learnt his lesson this time but I doubt it" Uraraka said.

"This time? You've done it before?" Iida asked a little disappointed with his friends.

"No we've never done this to him before. I just meant in general" Uraraka said looking at her watch. It was actually Deku's watch but he'd given it to her since he got a new one.

"Deku" she said still looking at her watch.

"It's ok I've got it" he said.

"Got what?" Ashido asked. Deku suddenly reached his arm out to his side and without even looking caught something falling at some speed from the sky...or rather someone.

"Mineta?" Kaminari asked.

"When did he...how did you..." Iida didn't know what to say. He couldn't even finish his questions off but Deku and Uraraka got the message.

"Best not to worry about that. Anyway he's fine see?" Uraraka said. Deku dropped him on the floor. Mineta didn't get up.

"He fainted!" Kaminari exclaimed.

"Yeah that makes sense. Not much oxygen up there. But he's fine. Well then shall we get going?" Uraraka asked.

"Yeah let's get going I'm really looking forward to karaoke. Ma'am would you like to climb aboard?" Deku asked turning around and kneeling down.

"Why thank you sir" she said going along with the act and climbing onto his shoulders again. Deku stood up holding tightly onto her legs.

"Ready ma'am?" he asked looking up at her smiling.

"Giddy up" she said with a big smile on her face beginning to laugh with joy at happy she was with Deku. He began to walk but the rest of their class didn't move. They were stunned and in complete silence.

"That was quite remarkable" Tokoyami said.

"Mineta deserved that. Ribbit" Asui said.

"Mineta you poor fool" Kaminari mumbled to himself.

"It's not just me they've definitely done that before right? I mean Midoriya caught him without even looking to see where he was" Yaoyorozu asked.

"Yeah that definitely wasn't the first time" Todoroki replied. Iida couldn't help but smile watching the couple walking away from the group both smiling and laughing with each other.

"What is it?" Todoroki asked noticing Iida's smile.

"Oh it's nothing. It's just...they make a formidable partnership" Iida said.

"What are you saying?" Yaoyorozu asked.

"All I'm saying is I'd hate to be the villain that comes up against those two..."
