Chapter 6

Now you might be wondering, like all the Other PJO and HOO Fanfictions Everyone in Greek amd Roman camps would feel regret of  betraying Percy and blaming him for something that he did not do. Especially his closest family and Friends but that's not the case.   Poseidon didn't feel as if he lost his best son, Annbeth could care less.

Sally and Paul. . . Well. I don't want to spill the beans yet. 

In this book they moved on forgot about their Hero made new memories and didn't care about him at all.  I know it's the harsh truth, but it's reality. You have read the past 5 chapters and your like. 'What's going on?'

Or

'Why does percy hate water'     (i pretty sure you might know why)

"Why the heck is he living with mortals?"

'How come Percy hasne't blown up the school yet' And more

All that will be answerd in good time. But for now, I think it's time to take a break on our Hero. And head over to camp half blood and see what Percy's Old family is up too.

Annabeth[3rd Pov]

It was dark. Annabeth heard footsteps around her. She couldn't see anything but she can sense it.  three, No. five weresurrounding her, two above three below.

Arrows fly past her, barely able to dodge. She sprinted towards the river. [Sorry not good at writting fight scenes]  The two who were shooting the arrows jumped down in front her of blocking her way.  Which only meant one thing, she was close.  The other three were surrounding her from behind. One kid pulled out a Sword and Pointed it at her. She moved in closer towards Annabeth as well as the othor two. The arrow kids pulled there bows and arrows and Pointed it towards her.

"Stand down Annabeth, and we can all go back without getting hurt" The girl with the sword said.

One of the Arrow kids pulled her arrow back in a slingshot formation. "Or you want to do this the hard way."

Given from the Stances, Annabeth could easily tell that they are beginners. When you have lived for over a thousand years you can pick up on things and see like weaknesses.  Obviously these  kids  are still beginners they still need training. They just came to camp a a month ago, but this is a game of survival. They should have been put on flag duty. Neatherless there still enemies.  Annabeth got into a stance with her Drakobone in her hand. 

"I'll take my chances"

Arrows flew by and Annabeth dogged. The girl with the sword came sprinting towards her, she slashed har sword at Annabeth fearlessly. Annabeth intersected it with her Drakon Bone sword [BTW i am going to call it DB sword]

She kept on attacking, Arrows flew by.  Annabeth had to dodge the arrows  and fight the girl at the same time.

Their swords connected again, It was a continuous routine she had to do.  Then the girl leaned in close.

"Face it! You can't keep this going on forever, you can't fight and doge arows at the same time, give up"  She was right. Doing this would take to much energy as well as Annabeth would be vulnerable. But, it's not impossible. An arrow flew toward her, Annabeth grabbed the girl by the coller and pulled the girl  infront of  her and used her as a  sheild. She screamed in agongy as the Arrow  hit  her leg. Then she fell to the ground. The two who were shooting the arrows stopped and ran up to the girl. The othor two kids came charging at Annabeth.

Annabeth put her DB sword away and tackled both of them Unconscious. Annabeth took this opportunity and  dashed of away from the scene towards river. The flag comes into view, she smiled. Easy. What she didn't know was that Clarisse was there waiting for her. She was standing between Annabeth and sweet sweet victory, also a pass to no chores for two weeks.

" you never cease to Amaze me Princess"

Clarisse got out her spear. "I won't be that easy"

"Please Clarrise, what's the fun in Capture the flag when the flag is handed to you without a fight" Annabeth says

"Well I don't plan to give it to you, nor do I a plan for you to Leave here without you facing the wrath of my spear."

She smirked"How many wins is it again.  300 wins 0 losses"

Clarisse just sneard "I'll wipe that smirk off your face."

Annabeth pulled her DB sword out.

A  mischievous smile spread across on Annabeth's  face.

  Let the  fun begin.

They charged spear verses  DB sword clashing, as both of them were not backing down. Annabeth tried to tackle Clarisse but she doged her attack and side her kicked on my ribs  making Annabeth tumble to the ground her Sword flying out of her hands.

Clarisse stood ontop of Annabeth and Veered her spear toward the ground where Annabeth's neck was. Luckily Annabeth  doged it on time pushing Clarisse away, then she  kicked herself up. 

Her DB sword was a few meters away Annabeth dashed towards it but before her fingers could touch the sword, Clarisse used her whole body and tackled her  as she landed on the ground once again.  

The pain flared through Annabeth's body, she kept on attacking. Annabeth started couphing blood as she crouched on the ground.

"Where did all that confindece go! Huh? I thought you had this in the bag."

She kicked her everywhere. Then she got her spear and pointed it towards Annabeth's stomach.

"Any last words"

Annabeth couldn't hold it any longer, she  started laughing.

"What's Funny"  Clarisse asked angrily.

Annabeth smiled. "You think you have me beat just cause you gave me a few scratches. I am the daughter of Athena don't forget that." 

I looked at the flag.Clarisse whipped  her head around  to see  Jason appearing out of nowhere and pulling the flag out of the ground.  He was wearing Annabeth's  yankies Cap.

"No"

The othor two kids who shot arrows came to the scene, the two kids stood their Clarisse looked at them.

"Get! Them!"

The two ran towards Jason but it was too late. Jason threw the flag in the air and a Giant eagle caught it with his claws and flew towards put base. Annabeth stood up then she  smiled.

Clarisse looked at her with full anger. All Annabeth did was but her fingers up as she counted down.

The horn was blown. Indicating that  They won. Annabeth held her arm that was injured and stood walking up to Clarisse who was gripping her spear in anger.

Annabeth pointed at her head and said."Brains beats Brawns anyday."  she high fived Jason as he was smiling in happiness. "Clarisse, you don't have to be the child of Athena to be smart. Maybe instead of going head on, you should use your head for a change."

***Soon the team that won  was pulled into a big hug. Everyone cheered and Applauded. Then it was lights out, before Annabeth could go to bed she went to the infirmary to get her wounds cleaned. Annabeth saw the girl who she used as a shield with a cast on her leg she was sleeping.

"That is one huge wound" Will says as he inspects the wound, he presses it with hydrogen peroxide and with a cotton ball   Annabeth winced.

"Sorry"

It was quiet. Will kept on glancing at Annabeth then looking down at her injured arm. Annabeth could see that he was trying to hold back on something.

"If you want to say something, say it."

He looked startled when Annabeth spoke, he bit his lip for a second.

"It's nothing Just thinking about when Nico is going to come back, that's all."

Then it was silnce again. Nico went on this quest and he hasn't been back.  It's been three weeks with no contact. Everyone fears for him including Hazel, Will and surprisingly Reyna and Coach Hedge and Jason as well. We don't know what quest he went to was and  Annabeth can't tell Will that everything is going to be ok. When it might not.  Finnaly he was done

Annabeh headed over to her cabin she heard voices on the other side of the door, when she opened the door it was silent. She was too tired ti care. She quickly took a shower then took of her neckless, after that she slumped on her bed. Not having a single nightmare.

Ever since the war with Geae it has been peacefull there have been less Monsters and less quests. Infact the Last quest that was ever given out was Nico's. Annabeth tries not to think about it too much but she can't help but wonder.

Why Nico had to go it alone. 

****Yay! Annabeth!!! I had fun wriiting this! In fact a Little too much fun that I almost spilled everything out in this chapter.  I hope you like.  I wanted to start the chapter with capture the flag to set the mood I wanted. It worked. XD.. I also had fun with the fighting scene even though I wasn't good at it. It was enjoyable.
